Actually...he is saying he bought Aly.

He isn't accusing the gang of anything. He is saying they are either responsible, or have some competition as underground overlords. Either way, he says he can make a profit helping them.

The main problem is that we got stuck in a main mission. If we were doing our own thing then this dying wouldn't be a problem.
