NAME:Tyler Jefferson
ALIAS: none though will take suggestions
NATIONALITY: American
ETHNICITY: Caucasian
AGE: 22
APPEARANCE: Picture something like this though with the with some additional characteristics. He is above average in height, standing at 6 foot 6 though he is on the thinner side of athletic. He has long blond hair and usually wears a black hoodie.

ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Neutral
OCCUPATION: He is a bouncer of sorts at an underground Variant fighting ring as well as a fighter himself, as well as some other things.

ABILITIES:
Elemental intangibility: He can absorb normal elements and take on their form. He can also partially transform his body, but only one element at a time. While he can take on the form of an element there are certain limitations and risks. The element he wants to absorb or take the form of must be present in the area around him, however the more abundant the element the more versatile and powerful he will be in that form. Whenever he fully takes on the form of an element, he gains that elements corresponding weakness. He can also only absorb or take the form of one element, usually, unless the elements are closely related, such as water and ice or snow, or earth and metal(natural metals of course).

He also cannot absorb unnatural variations of the elements, dark elements or hell-fire or holy fire for example. This does not mean that he cant resist them though, they are simply variations of the base element, so he does have some resistance but he cant absorb them. He cant generate elements when he changes form to that of an element. However he can change his form if the element was strong enough around him when he changed. He is at his strongest when he changes form during a natural disaster, such as a blizzard or a wildfire. It is also during some events such as these that he can take the form of multiple elements, as long as they arent conflicting.

When he has taken the form of an element he can manipulate his form, but cannot generate or project any of his element. He can teleport using the element he has taken the form of, can also turn invisible by blending in with the surrounding elements (*if applicable). He can also change his forms density in a sense, allowing things to pass through him or to become stuck depending upon the element. He can become stuck when mimicking an element or get damaged if he tries to absorb too much of a powerful element. He can currently only become Water, Fire, Earth and Air, as well as the variants of those, the variants are more powerful, per se, but are usually more difficult to become do to the lack of them most of the time. The element forms arent all equal, some are more powerful than others for good reason.

SKILLS: Decent in hand to hand combat, learned from his time on the streets. He is also rather perceptive when it comes to fighting.
WEAKNESS: While powerful with his abilities without them he is little more than an above average fighter. Tends to be rash when he fights against a group.
GOALS: Find good opponents to fight as well as to find a place he will truly belong and fit in.
FEARS: He is scared of heights and being confined while flying, though is fine flying normally as long as he doesnt look down.

EQUIPMENT: Only a few things, a small vial of dirt, a water bottle and a lighter. a Tazer (currently has an almost dead power cell.)

PERSONALITY: Carefree, though he does have malicious tendencies he will help those he deems worthy.
LIKES: the elements, nature, art, beautiful things, Destruction, Chaos, Fighting.
DISLIKES: order, those with Authority, Hypocrites, those who harm or take from the innocent or needy.

BIO: He discovered that he was a Variant quite by accident back when he was 17. He was walking along a stone road in Paris when a vehicle turned abruptly and almost hit him. He panicked and dove out of the way, but he didn't stop when he hit the ground. He fell through it and ended up in a place only accessible through the catacombs, the French National treasury. Needless to say he was captured and arrested,His stay their was far from pleasant even though the evedince pointed against him he tried to remain optimistic. Eventually after a few months he was extradited back to the U.S.. He was relieved and thought he had finally been believed as being innocent, he was naive.

To those who took custody of him his innocence had as much meaning as a roll of toilet paper. Someone had gotten word of his abilities and decided to try to experiment on him to create a perfect soldier. Just imagine one soldier who is immune to bullets or fire and can sneak past some of the most sophisticated technology. He was there for about a year and a half, before he was able to escape, he had learned how to harness his powers and learned more about them. Mainly though he used what one man he had met in the Prison had taught him. The man was a Variant who had true intangibility and could escape at any time, but chose not to to atone for his sins.

The experiments they forced him to take part in let him learn some skills that became useful to him. He used his new skills to both help others and secure an occupation for him. He would repossess stolen and illegally gotten goods from the wealthy and corrupt to help others. He also was able to contact someone he knew before his life became crappier and was able to get a job at an illegal fighting group. Eventually he became a bouncer of sorts instead of just a fighter. He was recently arrested again, coincidentally he was in France this time at the Louvre, returning a painting that had been in a criminal bosses house, he had obtained it from the black market. Needless to say he was arrested again, strangely enough though shortly afterwards he was released. (more will be revealed in my first post should it be accepted)

It's that way for everyone at first. For me it was a process of generally getting better as I went through school and was taught higher levels of writing, but also from reading not just more, but better written material. So now I can appreciate how shallow or one-dimensional my old posts were. It is one of things I like about RP's though; you are provided with an outlet to try and experiment with the way you write and see what comes organically to you.

There's an elevator on the lower level of the would-be abandoned warehouse that takes you to the Bunker, which was constructed by a corporation in the 1970's before being abandoned for whatever reason. The Benefactor has refurbished it as Hero HQ.
