ABILITIES: Super Human Healing Factor, this factor allow Sokoloff to survive decapitations, amputations, gunshots, stab wounds, and various other wounds that would kill any normal human. This Healing factor also allows Sokoloff virtual immortality to aging, immunity to poisons and gasses, and fights off fatigue for his muscles due to the regenerating factor, allowing Sokoloff to remain operational under physically stressful circumstances far longer than most other beings.
SKILLS: Marksman with most firearms, Expert in Hand-to-Hand Combat, Explosives Expert
WEAKNESS: Can be halted with a decapitation for a short time (several minutes), allowing his enemies to find a way to kill him completely. Such ways include an incinerator, flamethrower, acid-filled barrel, etc. Basically anything that can destroy Sokoloff's cells faster than they can regenerate. Keeping the head from growing back will keep him subdued indefinitely.
GOALS: Fight for the right reasons.
FEARS: He doesn't fear death so much as he fears his enemies getting crafty and putting his body beneath a saw that cuts his head off every time it tries to grow back...hey he can have irrational fears. He also fears that all his fighting will be for nothing as the younger generations ignore the past atrocities of the Socialists and Communists and embrace their ideals ever increasingly in modern western societies.

EQUIPMENT:

PERSONALITY: Cold, Detached, Jaded by his past, yet for some reason still wants to do good.
LIKES: Trying to do what he thinks is right, Reading, Shooting, Killing those he thinks deserves it, drinking a cold one after a mission.
DISLIKES: Watching people suffer who don't need to, Russians, Communists, those he considers evil, being called a Mercenary.

BIO: Sokoloff was born in 1921 to a family of Polish Farmers outside of Warsaw. When he was 18 he joined up in the Polish Army and attempted to stop Hitler's invasion of Poland. He failed when the Russians joined in and quickly found himself in hiding from the occupying Nazis and Soviets alongside other soldiers who'd escaped death on the battlefields of Poland. Sokoloff was quick to join the Secret Polish Army which in 1941 would join the Home Army, as he continued to take up arms against the Nazis in Western Poland. In 1944 Sokoloff took part in the Warsaw uprising, it was in this Uprising that his powers started to show themselves when he took a bullet to the chest from a German sniper that should have killed him. It didn't and within a week Sokoloff was back to fighting, however his fight would only last so long as the advancing Soviet Army stopped short of Warsaw and made clear to the Polish fighters within the city that the Soviet Union had betrayed them.

During the final weeks of the desperate fighting in Warsaw Sokoloff's heart hardened against the Russians who had so callously betrayed the Polish fighters on Stalin's orders. He survived the fighting in Warsaw and was able to escape with a small group of fellow fighters, they then began the fight against the Soviets who had come to occupy Poland. Unfortunately this would end in failure with Sokoloff the only survivor. With his friends and family dead, and it now clear that the Soviets had Poland in their iron grip Sokoloff fled Poland and became a mercenary with a cause. Becoming known as the Winged Hussar (for the patch of the old warriors on his uniform, the only patch he ever wore on missions) Sokoloff began fighting the Communists from East Asia, to Africa and South America...determined to stop the Communist Scourge.

Finally Sokoloff found victory as in 1989 Poland freed herself from the Soviet Union and two years later the Soviet State collapsed. Sokoloff moved back to Poland after the Solidarity Movement retook the nation, and from there he worked as a Contractor for the Polish Army, training soldiers and eventually going off to fight in the Middle East alongside the NATO detachment that Poland sent to Afghanistan and Iraq. Recently Sokoloff has been laid off as a Contractor by the Polish and has received an invitation to meet with the Benefactor and he has accepted, seeing it as a possible job opportunity.

ALIGNMENT: Shifts between neutral good, lawful neutral, chaotic neutral, and lawful evil.
OCCUPATION: Pensioner

ABILITIES: Superstrength, flight. Growth spurt (physical and mental) followed by slow aging (went from three years old to fourteen in a year, and now that she's almost eighty, she looks like fifty something (although you shouldn't be discussing the age of a lady)).
SKILLS: Determination. When she puts her mind into something, nothing can stop her. Fighting in the air, soaring and flying.
WEAKNESS: Stubborn and quite locked in her opinions. Like her brother, a little rusty with the powers, as they haven't been used a lot lately.

FEARS: That the government will lock her up again.

They had been members of the Polish resistance. Somehow, despite the dreadful situation, the twins survived, and grew up. In 1943 their parents died, starved and exhausted from the hard slave work. The camp's new doctor, Josef Mengele, took care of them from then on. He was obsessed with twins in general, and intrigued by Ewa's and her brother's Aryan appearance, so naturally he decided to take them under his wings, and gave them new, more suiting, Germanic names. Despite all the horrid experiments they were put through, Mengele was the closest thing they had to a father, and they gradually came to love him as such.

The often random experiments had some interesting and surprising results, that not even Mengele himself had expected. Siegfried and Sigrid were only three years old when they met Mengele, but only one year later their bodies and minds had developed to young teens, as a result of the cocktail of drugs that had been pumped into their blood. They had also become physically stronger than previously thought possible for a human being, and in Sigrid's case, also developed the ability to fly. Mengele saw their potential. In 1945, this Wunderwaffe couple was unleashed against the oncoming Red Army. Sigrid developed a tactic of her own, which meant flying up high in the air and taking down Soviet planes simply by punching them. For that, she earned the nickname Walküre. She was also decorated with an Iron Cross, and got promoted to Waffen SS-Obersturmführer. But despite her and Siegfried's best efforts, the Soviets could not be stopped. Mengele fled to avoid capture, death, or worse, and he managed to convince his "children" to follow, even though they initally wanted to keep fighting as long as possible, even if they died. They were fanatical Nazis, completely brainwashed, but eventually they too understood and agreed that the war was lost, and went with him.

In Buenos Aires, they took themselves new identities. Thanks to ODESSA and Jewish gold that Mengele had stolen, the three of them could live quite an alright, normal, and quiet life. Sigrid married her brother. Due the very unusual circumstances their lives had been filled with, they had gotten a lot more closer to each other than normal siblings. The only thing they missed were children of their own. As a side effect from their father's experiments, they had both become sterile.

Josef Mengele moved around in South America, but the Wagner siblings remained in Argentina. However, after Mossad's capture of Adolf Eichmann, they fled to the United States, where they deemed it to be safer. At first Sigrid almost wanted to take up the fight again, but unlike her brother not against Americans in general, but specific Jewish and Israeli targets. However, she, just like her husband and brother, changed her mind when she met American Neo-Nazis. She too found them pathetic. The cause was dead. And with the growing hatred against superheroes, she settled for just being a Plain Jane instead. Though in 1985 that changed again. The growing civil unrest and the unsolved murders of old superheroes caused her and her husband/big brother to put on the tights again. However, it ended in fiasco. "Vigilantism", as it was called, was illegal, and Sigrid was soon caught by a government agency aimed to stop them, and her Nazi background hardly helped her case. She was then imprisoned, up until recently. She never found out what had happened to her beloved Siegfried. She fears that he's dead, but hopes otherwise. In the beginning she was hoping he would come and rescue her, but since he never did she understood that something must have happened to him. But what? Well, Sigrid never got to know. And that might have been the worst part of her punishment.

After her release she did some work for her old captors, AEGIS (Agency for Enforcement, Guard, Intelligence and Security), as part of the newly formed Task Force Z, a form of super police that did the dirty work the government didn't want the public to know about. She only did it because it was the condition for her release, but she only had to do it for a short time. Given that she wasn't the most enthusiastic employee, her results were of course not the best, and the combination of the displeasure of her new bosses and her high age made it possible for her to retire. She now resides in Seattle, and have a decent, boring life. Her great sorrow is that she doesn't know where her Siegfried is, or how she can contact him, if he's still alive.

ALIGNMENT: Shifts between neutral good, lawful neutral, chaotic neutral, and lawful evil.
OCCUPATION: Mercenary

SKILLS: He can whistle the entire tune of Teufelslied, he bakes better apple pie than his wife and sister, and he is agile and good at dodging bullets (literally) and other projectiles. Aside from his powers, he has a way of making people trust him, or at least listen to him.
WEAKNESS: Despite his speed and strength, he isn't much more endurant than a normal soldier, and get tired after a while of fighting. Since he's getting old, his powers are not exactly what they used to be, either. He also finds it difficult to make decisions completely on his own.
GOALS: To find his wife again, and if possible, make those responsible for her disappearance/imprisonment/death (he doesn't yet know of her fate) pay.
FEARS: To die without getting to see his beloved little sister again. That's the only thing that matters to him.

The original character plan was to have an Ant-Man style character that could shrink and grow at will. Problem was, I realized, that that's rather hard to write in an interesting manner. It's a little too visual. Planning to go with something a bit more...occult.
