Luminesa wrote:"Excellent, Aidan," Rabbit praised him, clapping several times. "Yes, that's exactly what I was talking about. When you are in a battle, and you are running low on mana, you have to be able to use all of your remaining mana however you can. In order to do so, focus is key. Certainly, you weren't able to lift the rock, but in time, you will able to lift not just that rock, but perhaps much bigger things, with your magic. Very good, Aidan."
They then walked over to Aidan, and they took his hands in their own. Placing their thumbs right over his mana points, and concentrating their magic into him, they sent a shock of mana through him. Suddenly, all of Aidan's points were re-opened, so he could use them again.
"Wait...what are you doing?" Soleil asked, confused.
"Reopening his mana points. I can't let him go to his other classes, and have his teachers ask him why he can't use his magic like he should be able to. That would be rather embarrassing, wouldn't it?" Rabbit explained, with a laugh.
"...But...how did you do it?...Are we going to learn how to do that, in this class?" Soleil continued.
Rabbit thought for a moment. "...I should perhaps teach you this trick, though it's not exactly a beginner's technique. Sometime near the end of the course, perhaps. After all, you will meet opponents who are capable of closing your mana points. In that case, it will be good to know how to can reopen them yourselves, and for each other," they decided.
"I for one," Aidan said, "want to know how to get as much power out of the other points, as I just got out of the head point, when it was the only one left." He focused on the stone again and as he used his sign this time the stone jumped up a foot and Aidan gave it a driving kick to make it fly into the nearby woods. He pretended like that did not hurt his foot at all. "Kicker of the Football-team in junior high... Anyway, it looks like that trick to focus, that the other professor showed me 2 years ago helps me open my hand mana point already. But how the heck I am to focus the Mana in my shoulders, I really have no idea. Yet."
Aidan realized, that Professor Rabbit did not use any gestures or spells for his magic, which was certainly another useful skill, that he could learn in this class. Getting rid of the need for a hand gesture for full power, or his pocked mirror, that he had to flip out, if he wanted to reliably case light-manipulation, that would be nice but certainly something for latter in the course.
