I dunno...I might crush her windpipe...wait, she's a doll, she doesn't have one..right?
She slowly nodded. "Alright, but I give tight hugs." She hugged her as slightly as she could, but it would still feel like a big squeeze. Cheese jumped out of the bag and landed on Ignis's arm. He hugged Natalie too. Ignis carried them both down towards Rabbit's room.
Natalie buried her face in Cheese's side, clinging tightly to him until she could talk to Bunny-Man. Bunny-Man knew a lot of stuff, so he could help make everything better, right? And Mama liked Bunny-Man, she'd listen to him. Right?
Why did she yell at me? I thought she'd be happy...Katelyn screamed as her head was slammed forcibly into the wall. She could feel blood running down her neck, and then she was pulled forwards and tossed headfirst into another wall, hearing a very frightening crack as she struck it. Her vision blurred. Black spots swam in front of her eyes, red obscuring her vision as she crumpled slowly to the floor, her head aching and her body not responding to her commands.Luminesa wrote:He was rather big, at 5'11" and 160lbs, so pulling him around would not have exactly been easy for Katelyn. However, she managed to pull it off, and she threw him around like a heavy bowling ball. The only problem was she did not cause as much damage as she had hoped she would. Thus, when he was finished being thrown around, he merely pulled himself out of the wall, his eyes closed as though he was thinking deeply about something. However, when he opened them, he revealed that had not been the case. His eyes were a glowing dark-red, and they stared into her soul.
"...Little puppies should not ask for loads they cannot carry," he answered. He then tapped his scythe again, and it glowed a dark, forboding burgundy aura. He then aimed it at the wall behind her, and suddenly long, bodiless, liquid-like arms reached from out of the wall and grabbed her arms and legs. She was unable to control herself, and thus found herself flying backwards and slamming into the wall again, her head snapping back from the impact and slamming into the wall. He then moved out of her general direction, and he repeated the same spell on the other wall, dragging her forward now and throwing her headfirst into the other wall. Once she had crumbled to the ground, he slowly walked toward her, his body now glowing with the same aura as his scythe.
"...So I carried it for you. You should thank me, little girl. I'm teaching you how to fight properly," he taunted, stepping on her shoulder as she was down.
Mama... she thought, unable to recall her true surroundings. Please... Stop hitting me... I won't be a burden anymore, I promise... Stop... stop hitting me... please...
Rabbit had been getting dressed, when he had heard multiple dull, heavy sounds from somewhere down the hall. He immediately finished getting dressed, and then he opened the door, concerned and preparing to go see what was happening. When he opened the door, however, he noticed Cheese and Natalie looking up at him. Smiling calmly at them even as his mind was elsewhere, he kindly greeted them, "Good morning. I do need to go see what this noise is, but if you will follow me you we can talk that way, if you do not mind." He then headed down the hallway, moving toward the spot where he had sensed the dull thuds that sounded as though they were about to shatter the wall.
As he got closer, however, he sensed something else: Dark Magic, and lots of it. It was incredibly vicious, as well, radiating from a very wicked user somewhere in the hotel. As he sensed this, Rabbit seemed to move almost into autopilot, walking quickly down the hall as he searched for the source. Eventually, he got to it, and he was horrified.
Katelyn was lying unconscious against the wall, blood trickling down from her head and mouth. A few feet in front of her was the source, a tall man dressed in a dark-purple cloak. He had stopped in front of her, and was muttering hatefully to her.
"Are you finished, le petite chiot? All of that bragging and you could do absolutely nothing? How pathe-!!!!!" Before he could even finish, he felt a shot ring through him. It was not a bullet, but the dark mist that had suddenly filled the boy from behind was enough to stun him, and he fell to his knees as the magic filled him. His mana had been disabled, though he was not aware of this part yet.
"...I suppose weapons of mass destruction never truly get vacations, do they?" Rabbit muttered, as he walked over to the boy, his air methodical and nonchalant as he went to examine the situation. He stood over the boy for a moment, and put a hand on his head, holding him down. "My policy for people who try to kill my students is very simple. Stay where you are, and you will live. Move an inch, try to attack me, or speak without my permission, and you will die where you kneel. Not a single person on earth will ever see your remains," he explained, softly.
He then knelt in front of Katelyn, and he put a hand on her head, examining the damage. "...Katelyn?...Can you hear me, sweetheart?...Katelyn?" he whispered, concerned for her.
