She slowly nodded. "Alright, but I give tight hugs." She hugged her as slightly as she could, but it would still feel like a big squeeze. Cheese jumped out of the bag and landed on Ignis's arm. He hugged Natalie too. Ignis carried them both down towards Rabbit's room.

Natalie buried her face in Cheese's side, clinging tightly to him until she could talk to Bunny-Man. Bunny-Man knew a lot of stuff, so he could help make everything better, right? And Mama liked Bunny-Man, she'd listen to him. Right?

Why did she yell at me? I thought she'd be happy...
Luminesa wrote:He was rather big, at 5'11" and 160lbs, so pulling him around would not have exactly been easy for Katelyn. However, she managed to pull it off, and she threw him around like a heavy bowling ball. The only problem was she did not cause as much damage as she had hoped she would. Thus, when he was finished being thrown around, he merely pulled himself out of the wall, his eyes closed as though he was thinking deeply about something. However, when he opened them, he revealed that had not been the case. His eyes were a glowing dark-red, and they stared into her soul.

"...Little puppies should not ask for loads they cannot carry," he answered. He then tapped his scythe again, and it glowed a dark, forboding burgundy aura. He then aimed it at the wall behind her, and suddenly long, bodiless, liquid-like arms reached from out of the wall and grabbed her arms and legs. She was unable to control herself, and thus found herself flying backwards and slamming into the wall again, her head snapping back from the impact and slamming into the wall. He then moved out of her general direction, and he repeated the same spell on the other wall, dragging her forward now and throwing her headfirst into the other wall. Once she had crumbled to the ground, he slowly walked toward her, his body now glowing with the same aura as his scythe.

"...So I carried it for you. You should thank me, little girl. I'm teaching you how to fight properly," he taunted, stepping on her shoulder as she was down.
Katelyn screamed as her head was slammed forcibly into the wall. She could feel blood running down her neck, and then she was pulled forwards and tossed headfirst into another wall, hearing a very frightening crack as she struck it. Her vision blurred. Black spots swam in front of her eyes, red obscuring her vision as she crumpled slowly to the floor, her head aching and her body not responding to her commands.

Mama... she thought, unable to recall her true surroundings. Please... Stop hitting me... I won't be a burden anymore, I promise... Stop... stop hitting me... please...

Rabbit had been getting dressed, when he had heard multiple dull, heavy sounds from somewhere down the hall. He immediately finished getting dressed, and then he opened the door, concerned and preparing to go see what was happening. When he opened the door, however, he noticed Cheese and Natalie looking up at him. Smiling calmly at them even as his mind was elsewhere, he kindly greeted them, "Good morning. I do need to go see what this noise is, but if you will follow me you we can talk that way, if you do not mind." He then headed down the hallway, moving toward the spot where he had sensed the dull thuds that sounded as though they were about to shatter the wall.

As he got closer, however, he sensed something else: Dark Magic, and lots of it. It was incredibly vicious, as well, radiating from a very wicked user somewhere in the hotel. As he sensed this, Rabbit seemed to move almost into autopilot, walking quickly down the hall as he searched for the source. Eventually, he got to it, and he was horrified.

Katelyn was lying unconscious against the wall, blood trickling down from her head and mouth. A few feet in front of her was the source, a tall man dressed in a dark-purple cloak. He had stopped in front of her, and was muttering hatefully to her.

"Are you finished, le petite chiot? All of that bragging and you could do absolutely nothing? How pathe-!!!!!" Before he could even finish, he felt a shot ring through him. It was not a bullet, but the dark mist that had suddenly filled the boy from behind was enough to stun him, and he fell to his knees as the magic filled him. His mana had been disabled, though he was not aware of this part yet.

"...I suppose weapons of mass destruction never truly get vacations, do they?" Rabbit muttered, as he walked over to the boy, his air methodical and nonchalant as he went to examine the situation. He stood over the boy for a moment, and put a hand on his head, holding him down. "My policy for people who try to kill my students is very simple. Stay where you are, and you will live. Move an inch, try to attack me, or speak without my permission, and you will die where you kneel. Not a single person on earth will ever see your remains," he explained, softly.

He then knelt in front of Katelyn, and he put a hand on her head, examining the damage. "...Katelyn?...Can you hear me, sweetheart?...Katelyn?" he whispered, concerned for her.

Natalie ran after Rabbit on tiny legs, crying, "Bunny-Man, I got Mama a present but instead of being happy she yelled at me and broke her present--"

Then she saw the aftermath of the fight and screamed. The piercing noise was enough to shock Katelyn out of her stupor, but she covered her ears, curling into a ball and shaking badly.

"I'm sorry," she whimpered. "I'm sorry. Don't hit me anymore, please, I'm sorry... Stop yelling at me, Mama, I... I'm sorry..."

Ah, and then a teacher appeared. That one very annoying one that Scott wasn't particularly fond of, but at least he was there to settle the situation. That was good enough. Meanwhile, Bertram wriggled about in his owner's arms anxiously. It didn't exactly seem as if he needed to go to the bathroom, but he just wasn't enjoying the height he was lifted up at. Heeding Bertram's implicitly stated request once he carried him over to the elevator, Scott lowered himself and let his dog stand beside him freely. He was glad that Bertram was quite obedient, else he'd be more of a pain in the ass than he already was. Scott pressed the down button and within a minute or two the elevator had arrived at his floor. He stepped on and Bertram followed after. Scott pressed the "1" button next and then let the elevator doors closed. When they shut all the way, he turned around and looked out the window. It seemed the fight had ended, the boy in black was taken out, but that one girl -- who looked slightly familiar -- was also down.

D i n g .

Scott hummed to himself as he sauntered out of the elevator and over to where the others were, Bertram following after in all his flabby glory. Scott didn't exactly say anything, but rather he simply observed the group, specifically so that he could get a better look at both Katelyn and the mysterious boy's features.

Cheese ran after Natalie frantically.
"Huh!? Na'alie!?"
"Cheese wait up!" Ignis followed the trio to Katelyn who was bleeding and crumpled on the floor.
".....Hooooollyyyy shhhiiiiittttt...." she slowly and arduously sucked in breath. She moved over between Rabbit and the aggressor to hopefully form a barrier if the latter attacked again. "Is she alive? Does she have a concussion? If so stabilize her head." She called the emergency number on her cell, while glaring at the attacker.
You're lucky Rabbit didn't fuck you up you son of a bitch.

"....One of our students has a concussion from an unaggravated assault. She's near unconscious and she's suffering from extreme bleeding. Mm-hm. Ok. Ok. No, she's not dead. I'm not sure what health problems she had beforehand. Ok. We're at *Name of the Hotel*. Ok."

Cheese ran over to Natalie worriedly and nuzzled her. "Na'alie, are you ok?"

Soon an ambulance and a few police cars arrived the scene. A group of paramedics walked towards them.

"There is no need for that. She had a concussion, but I can heal her just fine," he told her, without turning around. He then turned back toward Katelyn and began to heal her, slowly sending Mana into her system. "...Are you one of the international students? Yes or no," he asked the boy.

"Yes. I am from the Lyceé Magique," the boy answered. The boy remained kneeling, nearby, and he coolly returned Ignis's glare. He could sense she was some sort of evil creature, but he did not feel she was powerful enough to try and fight. He was more concerned about the odd creature in front of her, whose almost-mechanical focus told him immediately he was not human.

"We will have to inform Madame Bourbon of your actions, then. Your name?" he continued.

"Saturninus Rise," the boy answered calmly.

Rabbit was partially surprised by this answer. On one hand, he seemed like a typical wicked Rise. On the other hand, he was still the exact opposite of the much-smaller, still-sleeping Soleil down the hall. He was not only much bigger, but he was completely cold and remorseless about his actions. "Alright, then, Saturninus. Ignis will take you to Madame Bourbon, as well as the list of the students in our tournament. I certainly hope we are not late. Madame Bourbon is in the penthouse, Ignis," he explained.

Scott watched how the scene unfolded with some curiosity. What struck him the most was the last name of the now identified Saturninus. He wasn't wholly sure as to how Saturninus could be potentially related to Soleil, that mewling, sad excuse of a boy, but it seemed just a little suspicious that he would bring this much attention to himself for no particular reason other than to get a fight in.

Unless there was something more to it. But even if there was something more, things were already being dealt with. Saturninus was to be sent up to the penthouse (Scott was unaware of the penthouse. Now he wants to see it, badly) and that one girl who got herself pathetically decked was being tended to. And what kind of name is 'Saturninus', anyway? Just . . . strange.

Bertram grumbled some when he went to lay down beside Scott's feet. His owner was stuck in thought again, his eyes plastered on Saturninus.

Katelyn stared at Rabbit for a few moments, her eyes wide and unfocused, two blurry images of the masked teacher swimming in front of her vision.

She cringed back into the wall, as if trying to hide from the frightening sight.

Seeing her curling-up away from him, Rabbit comforted her, "Shhhhh...rest yourself, sweetheart...Don't move too much, or you might hurt yourself even more..." For all of her bluster and all of her anger, she was still just a lonely, frightened young girl, and she needed to see that the people around her did care about her. If only she would trust Rabbit a little more...

Slowly, the mana did its work, repairing most of the damage in Katelyn's head. He then worked to stabilize her neck. As he did so, he asked her quietly, "...Does it hurt anywhere else, dear?...Where else did he hit you?"

Ignis nodded at him. "Alright, we got magic. We're fine. You guys can go back now."

The emergency personnel hesitated, but upon seeing Rabbit's magic heal Katelyn, left, some of them grumbling in annoyance.
She then went over to Saturninus to pull him in a half-Nelson, pulling a surprisingly strong grip on him. Maybe a little too strong.

Aggression and dark magic, huh? Sounds like a Rise. I wonder now if Soleil's the only nice one in the bunch. Poor kid.

"Let's go." she started to steer him to Madame Bourbon.

"...Hurts everywhere," she mumbled. "Back hurts a lot... so stupid... just want to--"

However, before she could finish her mutterings, she was cut off by a tiny squeaking sound. Natalie, now in her doll form, toddled up to Katelyn and presented her with a piece of cheese.

Katelyn grinned slightly, showing off one of her fangs as Natalie fed her the cheese.

Cheese will make you all better, Natalie said sadly, and then sat down next to the redhead and nibbled morosely on a piece of her own.

Saturninus obeyed, and he walked with Ignis to Madame Bourbon's penthouse. Considering he was one of her students, he would be able to find it very easily. All the while, he kept silent and avoided any eye-contact with Ignis. At the very least, she was annoying. However, he had no idea what sort of power she had, so he kept his mouth shut and did not even attempt to speak to her.

When they arrived at Madame Bourbon's room, he knocked on the door himself, before Ignis could even reach the door.

"One moment!" a voice came from the other side. Moments later, Madame Bourbon came to the door. She was fully dressed in a bright-red, one-shoulder gown that was probably not appropriate for the early morning. Looking from Ignis to Saturninus, she replied, "Saturninus? What happened here? And...the pigeon-woman...?" She had never learned Ignis's name, and only remembered she had muttered something about pigeons, during the limo ride from the airport.

"..Is he one of your students? He gave one of our kids a concussion and a shoot ton of broken bones. She's severely bleeding from multiple places and is conscious but in pretty critical condition."
She gave Saturninus another dirty look, this time her irises turning a bronzy green and her pupils shrinking for about three seconds.
Boy, I wanna pummel you so hard that you can't ever fucking walk again. No-fucking correct that- that you can never fucking use any of your bastard limbs again.

If you can teach a Rise other than Soleil that.

She then peered at Bourbon's dress.

If anything, the previous night was somewhat surprising. He didn't regret the fact of punching Anatoly so quick, but he wondered about how Aria was feeling after the kiss he given her in the last night, specially with the fact that Catherine left the room while they were dancing.

Jumping away from the bed, he adopted his usual outfit composed of a brown jacket with a black shirt, pants and shoes below it. His appearance was far from the one he had in the previous night, but it still maintained a certain elegance, a feeling that the city always seemed to pass.

Catherine de Sanguine Vivere

Catherine woke suddenly to what ever commotion was going outside of her and Aria's room. If she had been visited by any past lives during night, she didn't remember them, small blessing On the TV infront of her was that famous image of Maj. Kong riding the bomb out of his B-52 at the end of the movie. Aria must have paused it when she arrived in the room and saw that Catherine had already fallen asleep. Catherine wasn't superstitious, but she had to admire the timing for that image to be what she woke up to. Maybe this whole event would go to shit, things tended to when you had this many children around that could kill with a thought.
Catherine sat up, letting out a long sigh. Who knows what kind of trouble could be brewing? Catherine's generally pessimistic attitude hadn't been helped by the last few months at all. But Catherine did know one thing, even with all the damage and downtime she had gone through, she was more ready than ever to face any threats. Still with all those thoughts, Catherine felt pretty good this morning. Her legs barely hurt, and she didn't have any trouble moving around. Plus, Aria seemed much happier last night, and that made Catherine happy even if she had been somewhat relegated to the sidelines.
She was still such a beautiful sight, Aria , over on the other bed, sleeping, or at least resting, Catherine wasn't entirely sure. Catherine stood up off the bed, taking a few steps before sitting back down next to Aria. She gently stroked Aria's bare shoulder, running her hand through Aria's crimson hair. Like Aria's eyes, the runes on Catherines body gave an insight into her emotions. Right now they were a soft mellow, if still dark red, giving off only the faintest of glow from the mana bound in them.

"Good morning Ari, How are you doing?"

Elizabeth Tsukuyomi

Liz strode out into the hall, always something of a commanding presence, even just in a v-neck and jeans. Her piercing stare looking over Rabbit before locking on to Katelyn, her clearly injured student. The briefest surge of a protective passion went through her mind, before she settled back into her characteristic calm. A certain stench filled her senses, remnants of the magic used here. Instantly she had a good idea of what had happened, and who was responsible. Still she wanted to hear from Rabbit and Katelyn what had happened.

"Would you care to fill me in on what has occurred here?"

Hailey Winters

Hailey had only woken briefly, to scramble out of Kate's bed when there was a knock at the door, almost instantly afterwards she was back to sleep. It would take a mac truck running right through the room for her to wake up again, at least until she wanted to. She didn't hear anything of what was going on outside as she slowly woke up. Still groggy, she barely remembered to put on clothes before she left, and would have given a bit of a show to anyone that was in the hall as she opened the door completely nude, then quickly closed it upon realizing her state of dress. Now that she was dressed, a much simpler dress than last night, but black with some gold threaded accents, her first goal was food.
The year’s at the spring,
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hill-side’s dew-pearled;
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in His heaven—
All’s right with the world!

hi!

Allistor found the courtyard empty and big enough to be considered as a stadium. When Henry arrived, he was balancing himself on top of a spire made of ice. "One of Madame Bourbon's students-Saturninus Rise-got in a fight with Katelyn, and it seems the fight ended with Katelyn concused. I sent Ignis to bring the boy back to his Professor, and I hope that was not a bad choice..." he explained. Once Katelyn's wounds seemed to be stabilized, he then reached over and picked her up in his arms, and he stood with her. She was not heavy, so she was easy for Rabbit to carry. He then looked down at Natalie, who had been patient the entire time, and who had even tried to help Rabbit to take care of her. "Natalie, dear, if you want to follow me, once Katelyn is out of this hallway and in her room resting, we can talk," he explained, kindly. He then turned to Tsukiyomi, and he asked her, "If it is not too much of a bother, Tsukiyomi-hakase, could you perhaps stay with Katelyn, once she is in her room, while I go and report to Professor Ruta what has happened?"

She was as small and fragile as Aria, as much as she did not like to admit, and he was full of cold anger at the boy for hurting her so badly. He held Katelyn's head to his heart as he began to walk with her, allowing his heartbeat to soothe her. It was strange...Even as the inside of his body was anything but normal, his heart still beat like anyone else's. He was still able to use it to comfort a hurting student. It amazed him.

He's been training with Annice since he came back and he a little more muscle mass that made him look lean and less pudgy, reminiscent of a panther. "Annice and me kept on debating on that.

"Sparring is ok but giving someone a possibly traumatic head and/or nervous injury is definitely going overboard."

She then peered at Bourbon's dress.

"...Excuse me if I'm being rude, but is that very comfortable to sleep in? Sorry, I'm just curious."

She gasped, seemingly horrified. "Saturninus! You should know better than this! Didn't I go over the rules just last night?! Do you want to have your school start behind everyone else?!" she snapped at him.

Saturninus still seemed completely uncaring, and he only smirked at her dramatic answer. "It does not matter if we begin behind, so long as we will, Madame," he answered.

Annoyed, she sighed and turned to Ignis. "I apologize thoroughly for this. I will come to check on the girl myself momentarily. Allow me some time to speak alone with him, and...is that the list of Mana's students?" she asked, pointing to the paper in Ignis's hand.

Henry Von Kressel

If anything, the scene was fun enough to make Henry let out a slight smile. The morning had a pleasant air along with it, refreshing Henry's spirit in some way, and making his stay in Europe lighter in a certain way.

'Aside from certain unpleasant people, I'm fine I'd say. And depends on your concept of fun, I'd say. But... It was good, in a few senses."

Allistor Abendroth

Allistor stood and stretched his body, sighing as he felt his joints crack. He's been training with Annice since he came back and he a little more muscle mass that made him look lean and less pudgy, reminiscent of a panther. "Annice and me kept on debating on that. I mean about those 'mean people'." He finished by cracking his neck before focusing. "But based on what I can observe, you're in quite a good mood. It's Aria, am I right?"

Henry Von Kressel

Calmly, Henry created a chair made of earth, where he calmly sat near Allistor. The slight smile gave away the answer for his question, as his eyes wandered around the ring he was wearing.

"It is. I feel I can be a little more optimistic about her and what happened to her after... Lyn. I saw those eyes again and... Well, I'll skip the poetic parts. What about you and Annice? Have you already told her that you like her?"
Nothing to see here, move along.

She looked down at the paper and put it in her bag,
"Oh, yes it is. Should I go now so that you two can have your talk?"
I better be careful around these two. That Saturninus is a real snake..wait...
"And thanks for the offer to check on her. I'm sure she'll appreciate it."
Maybe not.
She turned around to walk away.
"Oh, and sorry but the list won't be seen by anyone outside of our academy soon. I enjoy giving people a surprise."
