Contrary to his will, he became rather popular in the Ignis house: The fact that he was involved in a few problems and missions helped to create his "fame". However, his friends mostly remained the same from the previous years.

The experience they acquired together helped to forge a bond between them: Friendships, like the one he kept with Aria, and rivalries, like the one that existed between him and Alexander. He comprehended that inevitably, the past occurrences tied their names together, and it was up to him to build new relations between them.

As he walked the courtyard in his usual outfit, he saw Aria and a girl. He never saw her before, so he deduced that she was a new student. It was actually a good fact to see the corridors of the Academy receiving new faces. He approached both of them, calmly as he always walked.

"Always nice to see you around Aria. I take that your friend here is new to the Academy, right? Pleasure to meet you as well, I'm Henry Von Kressel."

Sophia bowed "Nice too meet you, I take it you're a second year student like Aria?" the baby Chimera poked its head out of the young woman's backpack, curious at the newcomer.

Henry bowed in return before answering her.

"Yes, this is my second year here Sophia. But don't worry: We are not going to pull any pranks on you or anything because you're a newcomer. If you need any help, you can ask me as well."

She seemed a nice and educated person. Henry liked to have good people around him: Part of his familiar and roommate experience made it a rarity for him. So, when he actually found them, he tried to be the best person as he could, without losing his personality or ideals.

It was interesting to observe the new students. If anyone asked him, he would say that she was feeling something between curiosity and some kind of fear about being in a new place. Looking back in time, he could bet that he had the same look when he got in the Academy.

"Yeah, I suppose. Hopefully we can all get along here." Aria answered. Though she was glad to meet a new student, she did not want to find out the hard way if said student would turn out to be a 'bad apple', so to speak, as had happened with Alexander. For now though, she concentrated on the present, and not gloomy memories of the past. "So, how've you been holding up, Henry?"

"I think I can't complain of anything Aria. Things are going well, I guess. And you, how are you doing?"

School Gates

At the foot of the path leading up to the school, stood a handsome young man, about the age of 15 or 16 named Shaun. He was about 5 foot 8 and weighted 135 pounds; he looked like the average American male teenager, though the main difference was the fact that he had naturally medium-length white hair and a perfect shade of royal purples eyes. His outfit consisted of a white and black polo collared shirt with black jeans and black and white basketball shoes. He had with him only a purple and turquoise suitcase, a blue and white polka-dot backpack, and a red duffle bag.

He scanned the area, trying to make sense and visually adapt to his new surroundings. He looked at the numerous students, teachers and animals around him and soon grew anxious and nervous. A nudge of his left leg caused him to look down at his young miniature chimera Leon rubbed against Shaun's leg as if sensing Shaun's anxiety and let out a little yelp that was more like a chirp. Shaun weakly smiled at Leon's attempt to growl before giggling.

About two minutes passed as Shaun gained the courage to pick up his bags, and enter the gates. In one deep sigh, he called to Leon. "Come on Leon. Let's go." He then slowly walked through the gates of the academy, Leon trotting along side him as they walked the path together; for this was just the first step of their journey.

Victor was finally getting his classroom set up, when he realized he forgot what he had brought in for the first school project. "The box! Where did I put that box!?" He said as he searched the room. At first, Victor was more concerned about getting the class set up, but forgot about the animals he had brought in to give to the class for the first project. " Oh great. Must've left it in the courtyard." Victor then walked out of the classroom, and then went outside. He saw the box instantly, as it was shaking from the creatures inside trying to escape. The box was near the front gates, and Victor ran to retrieve it before anyone noticed. He noticed that a boy with four arms was near it, and hoped to God that nobody had taken any of the box's contents.

Jace spilled water over himself as someone crashed into him.
"Whoops. I'm sorry for that."
Sure
Something was off, the way he walked and held himself. This was either and old student, or a young teacher.
"Hey kid!" she shouted "What is up?"
Jace merely looked at the girl standing above him.
That Samurai armor is... interesting.
She appeared to wince to Jace, his constant state of being bullied at made him very good at seeing small movements that people made as they thought things through.
"I am well, how are you?" he forced out. He was not the most social of people after all.
A teacher then walked past and Jace's eyes tracked him as he grabbed the box. The teacher seemed worried.

Victor grabbed the box quickly before the boy noticed, and began walking back to his classroom. He saw some student looking at the box, and wondered what it's contents were. He went to his classroom and put the box in a secure place. " Finally. I thought we'd all be in trouble by the time it reached midnight. Thank god I got it in time!" Victor looked at the box. He heard the cute sounds the equally cute creatures were making. Victor opened the box and made sure no new creatures were added to the box, or checked if any left. After seeing all of them were accounted for, he then closed the box before they could escape. " Now that everything is in place, I better make the other teachers aware of the particular species I had brought in brought in. They may not like it, but it may be safe in the long run." Victor then locked the classroom doors and left, with one of the creatures in hand.

At first, she thought it might simply be Alexander, one of the only students on the campus who hated her very existence and everything else, but as he walked she inspected him more closely. It couldn't possibly be him. He wasn't nearly as pale, nor his face as surly as her old rival's. With the same composed smile and glowing eyes, she waved goodbye to her new acquaintances and old friends and walked toward the boy, her scarlet cape billowing in the wind and the ever vigilant Nero remaining on her shoulder. As a result of both her attire and vibrant hair color, Aria boldly stood out from the crowd in her stroll towards the newcomer. Giving him a warm smile and a polite bow, Aria voiced a simple greeting. "Hello."

The bump from Matthew caused Shaun to lose his balance and nearly fall over, and in order to stop himself, he stomped the floor with his left foot, making a loud stomp. This sudden and loud noise caused Leon to become skittish and quickly move away from the two boys in fear. Once he regained his balance and composer, Shaun looked at Matthew with a smile, though on the inside, he was slightly mad at him. "It's alright." He said quietly before walking over to Leon and kneeling down next to him. He softly and gently stroked both Leon's lion and goat head, trying to calm the frighten chimera down. Once Leon was calm, Shaun got up and walked over to to Matthew to pick up his fallen luggage and backpack. He then turned back to Matthew. "Yeah. It's fine. No worries."

The sparkling water, the soft breeze, the people. Everything Tracy loved about the Academy. And now she was back again after a long summer of fairly restricted magic use and boredom. Yes, her parents had gushed over her when she had gotten back home. But that had gotten tiring quickly, and asides from the occasional accidental freezing whenever somebody had surprised her, the days at home were uneventful, especially after the days of basically being a minor celebrity at school thanks to the "assignments" had been sent on every few months.

"Well buddy, we're here. How do you like it?" Tracy said to the miniature wyvern that was laying rather sleepily in its large birdcage. The little dragon was a gift from her parents towards the end of the summer, so Tracy still hadn't decided on a name just quite yet. The birdcage, like the rest of her luggage, was hovering about two feet above the ground and held up by a cushion of air, and all 4 bags trailed by her left side. It was a skill she blatantly showed off to others, especially to show the others in Aquo what she really was. Even if Tracy had been sorted into the house a year ago, she still believed that she should've been placed in Venta. But the appeal process was long and tedious, and of course she would've lost Aria as both a roommate and a close friend.

The wyvern let out a soft, low-pitched purr, and Tracy giggled in response. Holding her hand up and pointing forwards, the luggage began to float fowards, following Tracy as she passed the ornate front gates and into the campus grounds.

He said nicely while looking at her. He was now starting to become more and more anxious due to the number of strangers coming up to him and introducing themselves. His heart was racing, his hands were sweaty and shaky, and his throat felt like it had a lump in it. Shaun looked at her for another three seconds before looking back at Leon, who was still recovering from his recent scare.

"Are you new here by chance? If so my name's Kichi Ukita, a devout disciple of the Ukita style is lightning manipulation. I'm pretty new here myself so no need to be intimidated."
Jace noticed as she mentally winced again.
Headaches maybe. Pain, tiredness.
"I am new here Kichi, but I don't see why I would need to be intimidated, no offense," he added as an afterthought.

"Sorry about that, a bit of my... erm, previous training kinfa kicked in," she replied in a nervous tone. "Anyways, do you know where we need to be? I'm afraid I wasn't told beforehand and am lost as to what to do next."

A lone student walking past the Gates and entering the grounds, with hair the beautiful color of moonlight. "Hello."

After talking to Matthew, Shaun watched as a woman came up to him and bowed, smiling. He didn't know what to, other than to repeat the greeting back to her. "Hello." He said nicely while looking at her.

Aria smiled for a single moment as her draconic companion merely stared at Shaun. It wasn't often that she encountered a student so nervous as this, leading her to observe her surroundings for any odd goings-on. Finding none, she turned back to Shaun, an emerald glow in her eyes. "Sorry for any awkwardness here, bud. Welcome to the Mana Academy." she stated, putting on an inviting smile for the newcomer. Nero climbed down the side of Aria's cloak and reached the ground, landing soundlessly on the stone road.

"I knew you were a teacher for three reasons. One, you just told me. Two, almost no minor would have travelled the world or had a cybernetic eye, and you carry yourself like you know this area."
Jace Ordel didn't smile and his voice didn't change from its monotone sound.

"Sorry about that, a bit of my... erm, previous training kinfa kicked in," she replied in a nervous tone. "Anyways, do you know where we need to be? I'm afraid I wasn't told beforehand and am lost as to what to do next."

"Guess I don't need this disguise then." He slowly morphed back into his original self "You're a smart one, da?" He gave Jace a few pats on the head before asking him another question "Do you feel that? A sense of... danger? Fear? Destruction?"

"Sounds good," she replied with a smile as her eyes, now adjusted to the once bizarre student began to wander once more, "actually I have one last question! How good are you at combative magics?"

Her eyes set into the student turned teacher she forgot about.

"Oh hello mister," she said as she turned to face him, "my name is Kichi Ukita, proud user if the Ukita Lughtning Method and new student here."

Shaun looked at Nero as the young dragon landed on the ground. He then gazed his attention back at the young woman. Even though he had social anxiety and was very introverted, he could look a person dead in their eyes and not feel nervous or worried about them. But when spoken to and forced to have a conversation, that's where all hell breaks loose. "Thank you." Shaun said quietly, but just enough for her to hear him.
