Listen to her rattling off her prayers, she thinks she's a goddess or something." Alex said but as he begun talking Bunny walked off to talk to someone else. Alex gritted his teeth angrily and stormed out of the room.

And so, wandering around the Academy, he started to get lost in his thoughts. He never saw Aria like that, with a fury that could be sensed in the air. However, it wasn't her uncontrolled fury that worried Henry: It was the effect that it caused on Aria.
He didn't find her, and that worried him even much: Lack of knowledge was his childhood fear, and the lack of knowledge about someone he cared was even worse. His mind on set in at least finding her. And the way to do it came right in front of him.
Professor Ruta appeared in one of the hallways, apparently thoughtful about what happened earlier. With an unusual rush, Henry went to Magical Combat teacher, hoping that he would have answers.
"Mr. Ruta, I'm truly sorry to interrupt you when you are in your free time, but do you know where Aria is or if she's fine?"

Rabbit paused for a moment. They then continued, "And why do people bully, Alex? It is not because people are inherently wicked, but because they are desperate for control. The ones who bully are the ones who are the most afraid. The ones who are the most fragile. Think about that."

"I'm afraid she went to the courtyard, Henry. Where exactly, I don't know. She seemed...troubled, to say the least. Her anger is gone, but something else took its place, once her fire faded. She kept saying she was fine, but I honestly doubt that...You are a friend of hers, I trust?" Ruta inquired after explaining Aria's condition. Now that he knew someone was concerned about the girl, and actually cared for her safety and sanity, he let out a quiet, almost unnoticeable sigh of relief.

Hikari tapped Rabbit on the shoulder, and smirked.
"You might want to think about that one, Professor Bun-kun. Not all of them are like that, you know. Just a thought for you... But then, you probably already know that, don't you?"

"...'Bun-kun'...Hm. How quaint," Rabbit muttered, as they felt a student tap their shoulder from behind. They then looked over their shoulder at the girl, and they added, "While not all bullies are from similar backgrounds, they usually share some qualities in common. They hide behind a façade of power, in order to draw people to or away from them. If they lose that power in any way, they fall apart."

"Some of them have real power," she said calmly, folding her arms. "Then again, they fall apart anyway..."
Ashes.
She reached down and scooped some of them up, watching them slowly trickle through her fingers.
Then she brushed off her hands, buttoned her shirt, and walked away.
"And then... well, some of us get to live with the consequences, now, don't we?"

She was running them. From herself, maybe? The only person who could answer his question was herself. His eyes trailed off from Mr. Ruta for a moment, imagining what she was thinking. Finally, he snapped off from his imagination, and remembered Ruta's question.
"Yes, Mr. Ruta, I think I can say that I'm her friend. I will see if I can find her, I have the feeling that she might be needing me. Thanks for the attention, and again, sorry for the inconvenience. Excuse me."
Again, he was walking. Fast. He had the distinguishable sensation of urgency kicking him from inside, like a dormant force that awoke inside him. He reached the courtyard, looking around carefully for her. And if she wasn't there, she had to be in her room.
An Ignis boy among the Aquo, an unusual sight due to the natural opposition between the elements. Finally, he reached her door, catched his breath and knocked on the door.
"Aria? It's Henry. Are you alright?"

"Of course. Everything has a consequence, and everyone must live with the mistakes or the successes that they make. That is part of being human, after all," Rabbit answered, calmly. They then turned slightly to Hikari and asked her, "Are you Hikari?"

"Hikari Shimizu, at your--" She cut herself off. "Allow me to rephrase myself. Yes. Hikari Shimizu. Charmed, huh? If you know my name, you were either paying attention during sorting, or you've met Umi-chan."
The name was said with distaste.
"What do you think of my dear sister? Lovely little doll, isn't she?"

There was no response when Henry knocked on Aria and Catherine's shared room, save for a small screech that came from a tired Nero. Other than that, the silence that ensued when Henry arrived in the Aquo dormitory was deafening. Aquos had a complete dislike for Ignis mages, even if Henry had acquainted himself with four of their own.
Instead, Aria stood at the shores of the island, sitting in a small clearing of grass and looking out upon the great blue waters that stretched infinitely before her. It was but a small part of the world, she knew, but to Aria it could easily serve as an escape. Her endurance would allow it, and so would her mana, for a time. However, the fight had drained Aria of her strength, and all she could do now was sit and listen to the crashing of the waves against the island.
Aria wanted so much to simply walk ahead, not heeding the voices, not needing to hear another outburst from Alexander, and being free. And yet freedom was what she had came to this island for. And now that hellion appeared once again, to endlessly torment her. She still didn't want to kill him, no matter how badly he wanted to do so to her. But in the end, Aria would be doing nothing more than what Alex wanted if she did. She would be fulfilling his own deathwish.
With a glassy look in her violet eyes, Aria planned to leave this island with the winds of fortune at her back. She could see that she wasn't wanted here, so what was the point in staying?

Rabbit now saw that Kasumi had not been lying about Hikari dislike of her, nor has she been lying about her cocky attitude. "She's quite a sweet girl, yes. And a good student, from what I have seen. She was just in my class," they answered, thoughtfully. They then asked her, "...Did you sign up for my class, dear? I don't quite remember if you did or not."
They continued to keep an eye on Alex as well, not wanting them quite to walk out yet. They hoped the boy was listening, that maybe something they had said would reach him.

The lack of answer was disturbing. And so was the amount of people staring at Henry. Even if he wasn't wearing his Ignis robes, the reaction would be the same, due to the time he studied. He left before any confusion started because of his presence.
He was out of options and out of ideas, until one struck him. Fawkes. It could cover more ground than him, and faster. He whistled high as he could, and Fawkes came out of his room, storming out of the window to stop in front of him.
Using the bond that the two created, he sent Fawkes to look around, and guide him in case he found her. It was only a few minutes, but it seemed like it took an eternity before he saw the red bird sweeping in front of him.
He ran to follow the bird's trajectory, finally sighting Aria at a distance. Again he catched his breath, with a sigh of relief in the middle of it. He sent Fawkes ahead of him, and it stopped by Aria's side, while he approached her by the other.
"Don't... Don't you ever do this again. Please. Just... Don't disappear. Please Aria, just don't run away, okay? Are you alright?"

Aria Comnena
Hearing the sound of Henry's voice, Aria almost smiled. As Fawkes came to her side, she almost reached out to the bird before drawing back her hand. She no longer exhibited an aura of happiness, but a more ominous one. "...I am fine, Henry...What gave you the silly thought that I would run away? I just needed a breather, that's all..." Aria said to Henry, the emerald green absent from her eyes, along with any of her usual self.
Now might be her last chance to run...But there was something that held her back. She didn't want to leave. Not so soon, with so many of her dreams unfulfilled. If she robbed herself of all those opportunities, especially that of a life with her beloved...She would never be able to forgive herself. A shiver went down Aria's spine, and she gave off a noticeable twitch.

The thin thread of Catherine's blood made contact with Lance's skin. Gently she drew just enough blood from him for her to analyse, less that a gram total. The thread retracted back under the ground and returned to Catherine's Body.
