Yesterday while venturing through the library, Ziriad had stumbled upon an old, dust ridden tome. And so he had stayed up till dawn the next morning reading through it’s many pages. When his stomach had started growling, he decided to make his way down to the cafeteria and get something to eat. After grabbing his plate he sat down with a group of students, still drowsy from the night before. “Hey kiddos, did you get my homework done from yesterday?” Being in the state Ziriad was in, he completely mistook these students for the ones he had hired.

"Τι?!" Droma replied confused, almost choking on what she had been eating, "Your homework?"

"Your homework? I don't recall having met you before," Kassoq responded in her usual barely audible voice, "We don't have anything for you."

"Also, care to explain why you're asking anyone for your homework, buddeh?" said Rangi with a slightly condescending voice.

"I don't have m-much ex-experience in the m-matter," Tarmo added, "But if I r-recall, the s-s-syl—syl—s-s-syl—the syll-syll-sylla—the sylla-syll-sylla—the syllabi clearly s-states that h-h-home—h-homework is al-almost ex-ex-exlusi—exclusively in-individual w-work. Also, I'm n-not you're kiddo, fwiend."

Ziriad Vernichtung

Ziriad glanced at the students, each in particular, and realized they were complete strangers. “Uh-huh, well this certainly happened. O-oh a-and I d-d-di- didn’t k-know t-th-that, m-my apo-a-apologies” He mocked Tarmo before almost choking on his drink. “Anyway, the esteemed Ziriad Vernichtung was asking you lot as he had paid some, let’s say, unsavoury individuals to do it for him. It seems my lack of rest has disturbed my usual conscious self, a pity I must say so.”

He leaned back, waiting for them to go head over heels or any sign that they heard what he said. He sighed rather irritated before continuing, “Aside proper social protocol my name is Ziriad Vernichtung, son of Sir Dyson Vernichtung who resides as one of the highest of the nobility within Germany. Kind of of a big deal, I know. And speaking of Germany, what a wonderful place. Have you ever been there, oh what am I saying, of course you haven’t.” He chuckled as if he had made some joke far above the heads of the students before him.

Annice slowed her pace ever so slightly, understanding that most people didn't have twelve years of rather intense physical training behind them. She didn't want to insult Alli, or get to far from him, so she tried to find a balance that would keep him pushing himself with out falling behind. She finished her run at the cafeteria, her generally stoic expression gone, a wide childish grin replacing it.

"This is going to be great. Been waiting for this moment for six months now. I bet Mr. Michelle will fix something special up for me."

Allistor Abendroth

By the time Alli and Annice got in the cafeteria, Allistor is already drenched with enough sweat that he needed to remove his overcoat, revealing a black shirt beneath. He slowly regulated his breath to balance his internal temperature and slowly calmed his beating heart. It was refreshing for him, so to say, but tiring. He wasn't really physically active and even if he moves so fast in the battlefield, he is easily exhausted if he exerts too much force. He was happy to be physically active atleast, and was happy to see Annice smiling again.

He eyed the menu for today and was visibly hungry. He turned to Annice and tilted his head with a bit of confusion. "Who's Mr. Michelle? The head chef?" He then looked at the menu and was restraining himself so that he won't drool. "That jog sure made me wanna eat a heavy breakfast."

"That does sound pretty damn boring. At least here a lot of the subjects are pretty useful. You know, now that I think about it, I think I've been in church only twice." She stopped, a bit of a blush formed and she laughed a little. "I just realized, I've been in more strip clubs than churches. Anyway, I'm going to get ready, then we should grab some food, I'm always exited to see what our resident master chef has crafted for us. Plus cooking club is a tonne of fun."

She still hadn't told Kate much about what she did before finding her magic, Hailey had told her all about how it was being a minor teen pop star, but nothing about what she did before that. She wasn't really sure why, it never really came up, but was she ashamed of it? She had gotten in to a lot of questionable things, she was almost kicked out of her first year of high school. She did drugs, hooked up with random guys, and girls, and partied in the worse possible way. Hailey knew that Kate wouldn't judge her for that, but still she didn't like talking about it, didn't really want for her little Red to know those things.
"...Eh? Ehhhh?!" Katelyn was surprised, to say the least. She knew Hailey had been a bit of an idol singer for a while, but strip clubs?!

A mental image ran through her mind, and she immediately turned bright red. N-nooooooo! Bad Katelyn! No thinking like that! Bad!

"Yeah... Food... Food is good..." Katelyn squeaked, and hurried to get dressed.

"Indeed", said Lawrence.

He turned back and faced the lake, its shimmering waters glowing under the warm rays of the morning sun. It seemed almost ethereal, the way the light bounced off the shimmering blue water. Like a chemistry experiment, in some ways...

"Mr Lawrence?"

"Yes, Joseph?"

"Why is copper (II) sulfate blue?"

"Well, you don't really need to learn that for middle school syllabus. But, if you want to know, it's because the Cu2+ ion has lost two electrons, meaning that it's a d-block metal ion. Since the electrons can then transition between different states, the ion absorbs certain parts of the light spectrum, and reflects blue light."

"Woah!"

"I did my degree in Organic Chemistry, though, so this isn't really my field of expertise, though. I just... you know... read it up when I did my teaching degree."

"Heh heh..."

Snatched back from his daydreaming by himself, Lawrence continued to shuffle through his papers, while occasionally making eye contact with Ignis so as not to make her feel that she had been forgotten.

"Thanks for that info", he said. "I'll go check it out later."

She looked at him for a moment strangely, then turned away. "Alright. You're welcome. Have fun with yourself, Lawrence." She said, seemingly knowing of his daydreaming. She began gathering some of the leaves around the vicinity, inspecting each for color, size and shape. She looked up at Lawrence. "Hey, you busy?"

Have you ever been there, oh what am I saying, of course you haven’t.” He chuckled as if he had made some joke far above the heads of the students before him.

A German? Mocking a Greek? What a fool, Droma thought as she looked at him with a smirk. "Nice to meet you, Ziriad," Droma said as she pulled a very condescending smile on her face, her Greek accent very clearly showing itself, "So you're one of those barbarians we tried to civilize a long time ago. Seems we haven't made much progress since then. Not even a Greek civilized war machine can civilize some brutes."

While Droma was making her quip, Tarmo grew redder and redder in the face with each passing moment. He was furious that somebody would mock his stutter. "C'mon guy. Mocking a s-stutter is below the b-belt."

Kassoq just rolled her eyes while Ziriad talked about his beloved Germany, and kept a blank face while Droma and Tarmo were talking. "As a half Dane, I must point out that Germany only became strong in the last century and a half," Kassoq said in a pompous tone, her voice starting at its normal wispy mumble and getting louder and clearer with each word and her Danish accent taking centre stage, "Before then, Germans were just pawns in Western and Northern European schemes, so don't get too proud of yourself. And money, money won't buy you a brain, friends, or happiness."

Rangi continued eating. It wasn't worth responding to Ziriad's rudeness. He'd introduce himself and that would be all. "Well, in respect of common courtesy, I'll introduce myself and my friends," replied Rangi, "I'm Kahurangi Tahuaroa, but I'd prefer if you'd call me Rangi. On my right is my friend Droma Kokinos, next to her is Kassoq Vinter, and on my left is Katariina Pärn, but please, call him Tarmo."

Chrome Legion wrote:Catherine de Sanguine Vivere

Catherine's recovery was hell. Since the fight, she was in constant pain. Even though her organs had been repaired, more subtle nerve damage persisted. Even with intense physical therapy with the staff of the infirmary, their were days when she found herself hardly able to walk. The only saving grace had been Aria, she had stayed true to her word. She was the light that Catherine clung to in the long night of her recovery. Aria took care of her, helped her with things that would have left her humiliated if it was anyone else. On bad days Aria helped Catherine dress, she helped her bathe. They were constantly intimate, but not in the sexual way of before the fight. Neither of them seemed to have any energy to devote to that kind of activity. Catherine had been entirely bed ridden for two weeks after the battle, but even during that time she continued to maintain her studies. Even while she was wracked with intense pain, and was sleeping less than three hours a night, she was able to keep up with her studies. Like many others though, she drew deeply into her self, rarely talking with anyone but the instructors or Aria.

Catherine woke on the morning of the 8th of October, doing what she could to ignore the near constant tingling, burn sensation in her limbs. Well, one limb was entirely devoid of feeling. For all that she had heard or read of phantom limb syndrome, it seemed that was at least one torture she had avoided. The hydraulic prosthetic arm that she could operate with her magic sat on her nightstand, next to the ornate eye patch she wore over the obsidian sphere that replaced her left eye. It was large and gaudy, but she like the aesthetic, and it covered more of the large scar than a normal eye patch would. Catherine pulled herself up right, back against the corner of the room, and reached out with shaking hand to the nightstand, but only succeeded in knocking them off of the surface. It looked like today was going to be a bad one. She looked over to where Aria was waking, a certain sadness, a longing in her eye.

"Ari, I'm not doing very well today. I'm going to need help."

Aria

A tremendously pale Aria sat crosslegged on her bed, facing Catherine with closed eyes, looking as though she were in slumber as her friend began to rise, though this was not the case at all. Ever since the Lynefleur incident, Aria never slept, nor ate, nor took time for recreation, placing Catherine above every other priority she had. Her body did not have a need for rest, or for sustenance other than mana, which was practically a blessing for her at this point. Besides assisting her in the mornings and at night, Aria acted as a bodyguard for Catherine, never straying from her and keeping a vigilant, watchful eye on her.

Yet even with all she did for her friend, she continued to feel guilt whenever she looked upon her body, wracked with scars and having lost half of her vision, not to mention the loss of her arm...Why couldn't Aria defend her? How could she do so well at dispatching direct threats to herself, but fail to do the same for those who truly needed protection? Perhaps it was selfishness, or self preservation, whatever the school's psychiatrist tried to say when trying to assure her that she had done nothing wrong...Oh, how mistaken they all were...

Upon hearing Catherine's voice, Aria's eyes opened, the color of her irises a eerie hybrid of the bright, cheery amber and the dark, toxic amethyst, devoid of their usual happy glow that had seemed so eternal...yet all that now remained in her once childish eyes was a fading light.

Promptly, she assumed a normal sitting position and slid off of her bed, standing straight and tall once she reached the floor, as if she really had been awake all that time. With careful and precise movements, she picked up the prosthetic arm and eye patch that had fallen off of Catherine's nightstand, holding the eye patch tenderly like it was a fragile jewel.

"I understand...I'm still here for you..." Aria said to her, quiet as a whisper in the night. No happiness, no smile, no joy remained when Catherine looked at her, only a pale white doll that still dared to masquerade as something it was not.

Luminesa wrote:"Ah, I see! I am Professor Rabbit. It is a pleasure to meet you," Rabbit greeted her. He nodded to her, feeling slightly stiff as he realized he was right about her. She was indeed a Jaëgar, and even moreso she was the new Disciplinary Officer. She would probably be helping Ruta make his rounds around the school, and if Rabbit ever was found-out, this would mean twice the trouble for himself. He wondered how many more Jaëgars would be coming to this school in the coming months.

"...Likewise." Ruby responded quietly, standing in the same soldierly posture after stating her name and purpose, saying nothing more than what she needed to. Her silvery black hair glinted as rays of sunshine poured through the window, illuminating her figure. While standing, she measured about 5 feet and 8 inches, slightly shorter than Ruta but still taller than the average student. Her smile did not fade, remaining constant even as her white face was bombarded with morning light. Whether or not this was a simple expression of friendliness, or something else entirely was up to the Rabbit's perspective.

Meanwhile, Ruta continued to read the letter. It was printed on a rather fancy piece of stationery, as the edges of the paper were covered in gold leaf and the writing in an elegant cursive, hard to read in some places but still fairly legible overall. Upon finishing, he smiled slightly and began to read aloud.

"Bon demain, Dear Headmaster of Mana,

As you may know, the International Coalition of Mages has been in the process of organizing a tournament between the greatest magical academies in the world for the past three years, christened the Duelist's Championship. Five of the most skilled students in each school are to be selected from each school to participate in the event, which will be held in Paris, France on the 15th of October.

Thus, it is with great excitement and pleasure that we announce that Mana Academy, alongside seven other immensely prestigious schools of sorcery and magecraft has been invited to partake in this venture...''

A certain doll had been spying on them--well, in reality, she just wanted to talk to Rabbit, but since they were having a conversation, had decided to wait. However, when she heard this, she could no longer contain herself, and she squealed with excitement, running in on her tiny cloth legs and bouncing up and down.

Bunny-man! Did you hear that? she squeaked excitedly. We're going to Paris!

Where's Paris?

I don't know. But there's a venture! And we're going! We're going on a venture!
she cheered, waving her floppy arms excitedly and toddling over to each of the people in the room, offering them celebratory cheese slices.

As soon as he heard Natalie's half-burbling, half-squeaking voice, the hairs on the back of Ruta's neck stood on end, and a drop of sweat rolled down the side of his face. The man's expression turned from one of calm interest to horror in mere seconds. Even his usually steady hands began to shake slightly at the sight of the aesthetically tiny Natalie, which may have looked adorable to some, but to him she may as well have been something from a horror movie. When she came by him, he strategicaly placed himself behind his chair, quietly refusing the cheese.

Ruby seemed to notice this and gave a short sigh before repeating the Rabbit's words to them, ignoring the cheese and raising her eyebrows. "Would you mind introducing our new friend, Professor?"

"The Duelist's Championship?" Rabbit muttered, surprised. Of course, before he could ask anything else, Natalie had come wandering into the room, to peek on them. At the sound of her voice, Rabbit turned toward her and laughed. Since the incident in which she had terrified Aether and Ruta, with her true form, she had not done anything dangerous. She had simply continued being her cute, cheery self, at the very worst wandering where she was not supposed to go, such as now.

"Ruby, this is Natalie. She's a doll who belongs to one of the students here," he explained. He then walked over to Natalie and picked her up in his hand. "Paris is a city in a faraway country called France. It's across the ocean, in a continent called Europe. There's plenty of cheese there too, if I remember correctly."

Of course you remember correctly. How could you ever forget?

Rabbit hid it behind his normal cheery nature, but during the last couple of months he had become more somber himself. He had revealed his identity to one student, and had begun a relationship with one of the teachers. However, he had never found true closure on his last one. Thus, Rabbit still had questions and worried stirring inside of him, and he was now mixed about suddenly having a chance to go to Paris. There, he would encounter his old memories, which would be sure to be painful. However, maybe he would also be able to come to terms with what had happened, and finally move on.

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese! Natalie squeaked happily, and giggled. I think I'll like Paris if it has lots of cheese!

I can do that! Natalie affirmed, and toddled off to go tell the others of the exciting news.

Her way of doing that was to change into her human form and scream at the top of her lungs, "WE'RE GOING TO PARIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!!!!!!!!!!!"

When she screamed at the top of her lungs, most of the school would be able to hear her. She had an impressive set of pipes for such a small girl.

She started spinning around and laughing hysterically before she fell over, still giggling.

Hedeon

Been 2 or so months already since that little training session he had in this gym, with a bit of socializing mixed in too. Just sitting at the bench he was looking up at the ceiling, like expecting something of interest to actually be there, 'course there wasn't any. Looking back the time period in between that day and the current one, there hasn't been much of anything going on. Every day the same daily routine, wake up early, study hard, eat, sleep, repeat. If there was one word that could define his mood lately, then it certainly would start with a b and end in m. Boring, boring and on the same.. Granted he himself was to blame too for the lack of activities, as even after two whole months of being in the academy he had not only never quite associated with the rest of the student body, but neither with the teachers either. Pretty much being a loner but hey, not like he could really help it, born with a attitude like his didn't much do good in taking the initiative. Yawning in deep motion he stretched his arms out high, before lowering them and standing up lazily. Smoothing his baggy far too large of a gray dull hoodie and heading to the door and then out from the building.

" .... ~♫~ ~♫~ ~♫~ ..."

Hymning a soft little musical tone as he went on, walking forth towards the main yard. Cool breezes of air hit his pale'ish cheeks, nicely cooling down as the sun was staying up high, shooting its overly warm sun rays down. Few more steps and he was at the fountain, one of this more usual gathering places, one might claim. Yawning again while sitting down on its edge, taking a comfortable enough of position with his hands resting on each side gripping on the edge for support.

All in all it was a rather tiring day.. Until the most terrifying of possible screeches, bordering on inhuman-like terror suddenly explodes in such massive volume from inside the academy's main building. It took a real effort not to plainly fall on his back and therefore in the fountain itself, and as he sat back up properly a deep sigh escaped from him. Something about Paris. Surprisingly no windows were broken from the sound, maybe.

Soleil heard her all the way from the cafeteria, and he was immediately terrified. He nearly jumped out of his skin, and landed on Sage, hugging her as the awful noise subsided. When he realized he was nearly on top of her, he pulled away and apologized quickly. "...O-Oh! Ah...I-I'm sorry, Sage...I-I didn't mean to..." he stumbled. As his mind cleared, he thought about what had just been said. "...D-Did Natalie say we were going to Paris?" he questioned, confused. He recognized the voice, but was not sure if what he was hearing was true.

Catherine de Sanguine Vivere

"I don't think I can ever express how thankful I am for you. I don't think I could on going with out you. I'm... just sorry I'm so much of a burden."

It felt like she had repeated those things over and over since the attack, but each time she felt the words were needed. Even dealing with her own physical pain, it was hard to see Aria in so much emotional pain. She still blamed herself for what had happened to Catherine. It was Catherine's own arrogance that had caused her injuries, she was the one that decided to charge in alone, yet still Aria blamed her self. Well, it wasn't entirely her own decision. Carefully, unsteadily, Catherine stood from her bed. She took the patch from Aria, carefully weaving the chains through her one again short hair. She took the arm and placed it down on the bed, not wanting to try to use it yet. It really wasn't very comfortable, and was a constant drain on her mana. Catherine moved towards Aria, more steady on her feet now, and pulled her close, burying her head in the smaller girl's shoulder.

"If only I hadn't been so arrogant..."

Annice Null

Annice ignored Alli question, her mind on only one thing. She was truly starving, and moved towards the chef with intense focus. Her tongue was practically hanging out of her mouth. Finally she would get to enjoy the smells as well as the food fully.

"Mr. Michelle, my doctor finally said that I'm clear to eat all solid foods, as long as the fat content isn't too high. I don't want to be a bother, but I was hoping you could do something special for me."

The chef spun around quickly from where he was working on Aria and Catherine's meal, his smile redoubled. "That's fantastic news! I'll be sure to get you a big meal started, I'll treat you to a classic American breakfast, and I'll super size it for you."

Annice took a seat a table close to the kitchen, eagerly waiting for the meal. Today would be a good day, her first full meal, and she couldn't think of anyone she would rather share it with right now. Soon, she was digging into a massive plate. Cheesy hash browns, a large sirloin steak, and sunny side up eggs.
The year’s at the spring,
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hill-side’s dew-pearled;
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in His heaven—
All’s right with the world!

hi!

Ziriad Vernichtung

“Last time I checked, your little Greece wasn’t doing so good.” He hid it with his casual arrogant tone but Ziriad was getting rather annoyed. Being used to people submitting to him, he couldn’t handle when one dared to oppose his authority. “Oh and, sweetheart, I already posess such things. I’m rather, let’s just say, intellectually gifted who’s given anything he wants with the slightest snap of his fingers. And not to mention I got people literally lining up for autographs, so I’ll just check that down for friends. And speaking of friends,” he noticed Alex passing them on his way for his second serving. “Hey Alex, mind doing my homework for me?” Ziriad asked as he pretty much shoved his books to Alex. “Eh? Got something to say?”

Alex turned red on the face, “No, I ju...just..”

“Just what? Are you saying you don’t want to help your good ‘ol friend Ziriad?”

“No, not at all.” Alex shook nervously. It was clear that he was too polite, not to mention scared, to decline Ziriad. “I-I’ll got on it as s-soon as I c-can.” with that, he timidly made his way back to his table.

“See ya buddy, I’m counting on you!” Ziriad turned to the others, “Heh, What an idiot.”

"Also, you mentioned being intellectually gifted," Droma replied with a smirk befitting that of an evil queen, "May I ask in what manner?"

Rangi looked at Alex with concern and then looked back at Ziriad with a look of disdain. "As my grandmother always said: he who is first shall be last and he who is last shall be first. Count your blessings, for they may be gone when you look next. You should be nicer to your 'friends.'"

Aria

"..."

At the last words from Catherine, Aria went dead silent, her lightless eyes closing slightly as Catherine laid her head on her shoulder. Even her breathing seemed quiet now, in this little moment of theirs where they might know peace for but a moment before being plunged back into the grim, painful reality they both shared. Aria desparately wanted to defend Catherine, even if she was only a tool created for the simple purpose of toting the ailing glory of an old dynasty not worth it's name, artificial to the core of her being. She knew Catherine would do the same for her, but in the end, Aria didn't believe herself to be worth the trouble. What more was she than a puppet, dancing to the tune of whoever pulled her strings?

Despite the dark thoughts and feelings of worthlessness that pervaded her mind, she still found herself able to embrace Catherine, wrapping her arms around her and stroking her lusterless black hair. No change of expression came to Aria's face, staying completely straight, even if under similar circumstances in the past she might have been brought to tears.

"...Catherine...To me, you are anything but arrogant...anything but a burden...You are...my reason for living...my purpose...if I didn't have anyone like you...I would die..."

Hailey Winters

"Used to sneak into them all the time in Vegas, Obviously I didn't perform or anything like that, but I went to them with groups of friends pretty often. Didn't do that for long, after the novelty wore off, they... just kind of ended up feeling dirty. Did you know how adorable you are? Especially the squeaks."

Hailey got up with Kate, grabbed her clothes from the dresser and went to the bathroom to get ready. She picked her normal colors, white with black accents, and took some time doing her hair and make up. When she was done she went back out to join Kate, and head to the cafeteria.

"Well, I'm ready to go. Wonder if Annice or Shaun are already there." Hailey though for a second. She took on a mischievous smile. "How do you think Annice and Allistor are doing? They've been spending quite a bit of time together."

Catherine de Sanguine Vivere

Catherine turned her head, and for the first time in these two long months, planted a kiss, with trembling lips, against Aria's. With out Aria her for her, she had no idea if she could have handled all that had happened, how much worse it all would have been. At the same time she longed for the old Aria, for they way they used to be so happy together. Maybe some day they could be like that again. Aria didn't blame Catherine for anything that had happened, but she did blame her self.

"I'll never stop loving you Aria... I just wish I could have let you keep your promise to protect me, instead I charged out on my own. I know how much it must hurt you to see me like this. I'm so sorry I put you through this. I'm still glad I have you though, and I would trade the time I spend with you for anything in the world."

Catherine slowly dropped the embrace, and moved over to her dresser. She had stopped wearing most of her old wardrobe, instead favoring long, plain black robes. She struggled a bit getting dressed, but insisted that she could do it on her own. Before sitting back down in her wheelchair. Catherine didn't use it everyday, but on days like this it was a welcome relief from the pain that standing and walking could bring.

James Michel

James came out of the kitchen with a covered tray and brought it over to Soliel and Sage. He could never figure out what Aria actually liked to eat, he just knew that she loaded everything down with hot sauce, so he brought a breakfast burrito smothered in hot mole and salsa. Catherine was easier, she liked red meat. For her he made smaller version of the meal he had prepared for Annice, with the steak already cut in to bites.

"Here's what I made for Aria and Catherine. I hope they enjoy it."

Soleil looked down at the platters, and he handed one to Sage. "Thank you, sir..." he quietly thanked to Chef Michel, smiling gratefully to him. He then turned back to Sage and smiled to her. "Now, w-we'll take this to their room, a-and hopefully they'll like it! Everyone likes breakfast in bed!" he explained. He then led her out of the cafeteria, and over to Aria's room, across campus. The aroma of all of the spices filled the early morning air like a heavy perfume, and it made Soleil's eyes water. He normally did not eat food this spicy, and was not expecting for the platter to be full of spicy foods. He hoped Aria and Catherine would like them, however.

When they arrived at Aria's dorm, he knocked on the door and called quietly, "...A-Aria?...Catherine?...I-It's me, Soleil...S-Sage and I...have something for you..." As he stood there, he became incredibly anxious. What if Aria was not happy to see them? What if she saw them and just shut the door in their faces? How would he explain that to Sage? And who would eat all the food? Maybe Natalie will eat them, if they have cheese in them...no! No, this has to work! he told himself, as he took a deep breath of the hot-sauce covered platter in front of him. Wiping his teary eyes, which were wet from the sharpness of the spices, he prepared for Aria's reaction. He could not think about what would happen if things went wrong. He needed to smile, to show Sage that she was doing the right thing, that making people happy was fun and a good thing to do, especially when other people were depressed and needed some cheering up.

"..." Katelyn pointed at herself as if to say, 'Who, me? Adorable?'

For her part, she dressed as she normally did, all in red, pink, and black, tying her hair back with the same black bow she always used. She looked ready to utterly crush anyone who stood in her way...

But first, she wanted to eat. When Hailey mentioned Annice and Allistor, though, Katelyn's face flushed red.

"Uh... yeah," she said awkwardly. "They have been spending a lot of time together... I wonder if that means anything?"

Shaun Calhoun

So much for peace and quiet. Can't I have one thing to myself?

Now all of a sudden, everyone wants to come out to the lake when he's out. That's just great. The air seemed humid and cool. A great combination. The shores continued to gently hit the shores and Shaun's feet. He deeply sighed and got up from the ground and walked pass Lawrence and Ignis giving a wave only to the chemistry teacher before heading off towards the campus.

As he made it back on campus and into the main court, Shaun winced and jumped in surprise as he heard the banshee-like scream echo throughout the air. "Paris?" What does Paris has to do with anything? Though the thought of going to a place such as that seemed like a wonderful dream. The sights, the smells, the tastes were all just a blissful thought that ran though his head. There was even a faint smile on his face while thinking of it. As he continued walking, Shaun began to hum a few songs in French to himself as he walked through the courtyard; as he did, he saw that longed haired red-eyed boy and gave a single wave to him before continue walking. The cool, misty air was heavily as he walked towards the cafeteria. Hopefully there was somebody there that he really knew. And seeing nobody he really knew, he sat across where Annice was, who surprisingly made it back before he did, and softly sighed while contemplatively looking at her food.

Hailey Winters

"It might. He seems like a good sort, and if being with him makes her happy, then I have no problems with it. She deserves happiness. At least as much as we do." The faintest hint of self doubt touched Hailey's voice. "You are happy with me right?"

She had no reason to think otherwise, but it always felt good to have it confirmed. This was also the longest relationship with someone she had ever had, before being with Kate it had always just been one night things, or week long flings. Hailey was putting herself out for Kate, and she was happy with her.

Annice Null

Annice was in love. Madly deeply in love. She had finally found something to assuage her aching, damaged soul. It was Mr. Michel's cooking. With in minutes she had cleared her plate. Then she went back to the kitchen for a serving of crepes. Nothing like spending six months on liquids to make you gain a deep appreciation for a hardy simple breakfast. She started to slow down on the second crepe, and let out a long contented sigh. It wasn't until then that she finally noticed that someone had joined her and Allistor.

"Oh hi Shaun. I don't think I've really seen you around much lately. How have you been doing?"
The year’s at the spring,
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hill-side’s dew-pearled;
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in His heaven—
All’s right with the world!

hi!
