CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name:
• (Full Name): Ashley Erlinberg Caldwell
• (Meaning - BONUS CONTENT): Cold Spring Descendant of the Mountain Jarl who Lives in the Ash Tree Groove
• (Notes): (Do take note that the translated meaning of the name is backwards instead of straight forward)

Age: 19 Years Old
Sex: Female
Race: [X] Human [ ] Faunus
Animal Traits: N/A
Biography:
Even before Ashley was ever born, one thing mattered for Ashley's parents, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins; family. By definition for growing up, life was all about doing what the family was proud of, and that was getting each other's backs and going deer hunting while in the middle of unforgivable blizzards and snowfalls. Eventually, Ashley learned the harsh reality that family could be quite a curse.

Ashley was huddled up in a modest two-story cabin as a child, which her family shared with her aunts Sarah and Henrietta (as well as their husbands and kids). Overall, everything was quite crowded with an approximate total of 20 people living in such a small space up in the Atlesian alps; however, not everyone cared or made a serious complaint. Everyone under the communal household somehow were able to lived peacefully, and all the while watch day soaps together and talked about how patriotic they were (as according to Ashley's uncles, who used to serve in the Atlesian military a long time ago).

Though as Ashley grew older, her older sisters Kristina and Kerri taught the young Ashley the ways of growing into a young woman. They gave Ashley her first novels at the age of 5, and taught her how to hide and literally stalk in the snow before she was 9 years old. In addition, they also introduced Ashley to her first sauna in lieu of all these early lessons in life.

Speaking of in lieu, Ashley had two experiences that shaped her young life and her eventual future. First, she shot her first Grimm when she was around 4 to 5 years old; however, this was due to the fact that she had to learn how to use pistols, rifles, and most importantly, shotguns as well. Although killing her first large and deadly creature was something truly noteworthy, Ashley didn't grow too fond with the rush of pulling the trigger, though she was no scardy-cat when it was necessary to kill.

The second event that altered Ashley's young life was her first kiss, which happened to have been her first girlfriend while she was attending private school at the age of 15 years old. Unfortunately, Ashley's first love relationship had led to a long, twisted period of emotional and mental confusion, which eventually lead to her father and uncles terminating her tuition and enrollment at private school by the time she made it through the spring semester. By this time, Ashley was now 16 years old, and with her family confining her to house arrest and strict surveillance to stop the relationship, she decided that enough was enough, and decided to run away from home and her hometown to meet up with her girlfriend.

Unfortunately, when Sofia went to meet up with her girlfriend at the neighbouring town far down the alps, Ashley was met with the sight of a city under military lockdown due to a Grimm infestation; however, this did not stop Ashley from making her attempts to reach her girlfriend. Sneaking illegally and haphazardly throughout the Grimm-infested town undetected, Ashley eventually found her girlfriend in the northern areas of town...but there was just one problem upon discovery. As Ashley was on her way to finding her girlfriend, Ashley saw the sight of dead bodies littered in the snowy streets, and most of them were curious as Ashley quickly realised that some of those bodies were her girlfriend's family members and friends; however, none of those bodies prepared Ashley for her girlfriend's fate.

Near the embankment under a steel bridge just northwest of where Ashley discovered the bodies of her girlfriend's family and friends, Ashley found her girlfriend wounded and slowly shivering to death while attempting to crawl to the safety of the bridge underpass. Rushing to her girlfriend's aid, Ashley brought her girlfriend near an abandoned house in an attempt to tend to her wounds; however, the injuries were far too severe without proper medical care. Subsequently, Ashley was merely helpless in saving her girlfriend as she watched her slowly die until she passed away just an hour after dusk.

Devastated by the death of her girlfriend (along with her girlfriend's friends and family), Ashley mourned in a deadly and painful silence until the Atlesian military began to secure the rest of the town and move the inhabitants back into town; however, Ashley was not about to let her girlfriend be dumped in mass-grave with what remained of her family and neighbourhood. Therefore, with her girlfriend's corpse, Ashley stealthily left town under the cover of darkness and proceeded to bury her girlfriend's corpse in a frozen grave in a forest clearing up about 50 kilometres north. With nowhere else to go (other than the dreaded house arrest awaiting back at home), Ashley lived in the Atlesian taiga for the next two years while making little to no contact with the outside world.

Armed with nothing but her compound longbow and a pair of makeshift hunting knives, Ashley was confined to a diet of fishing, foraging, and deer hunting, along with living in the tiny confinements of a small tree shack in the middle of nowhere in a vast Atlesian taiga. Through long and deplorable odds, Ashley survived two long winters along with countless encounters of Grimm attacks (whether it be in the air, land, and water). Even so, it was during February that Ashley's life was changed forever once again when she was ambushed by a pair of mysterious deer hunters; however, when Ashley proceeded to find any identification upon the deer hunters, it turned out that the mysterious strangers were Ashley's two sisters, Kristina and Kerri.

Confused and rather upset with the appearance of her two sisters at first, Kristina and Kerri tell Ashley that they had been looking for her over the past two years, not to bring her back home, but to get her out of Atlas as soon as possible. To Ashley's worst fears told from her two beloved sisters, Ashley's father had entered back into military service and has kept a keen eye over Atlas in search for Ashley (and aside from the occasional Grimm attacks upon remote Atlesian towns and outposts). Subsequently, Kristina and Kerri attempted to convince Ashley that she has to leave Atlas when she has the chance; however, with such fear gripping Ashley, she immediately took the opportunity to emigrate out of Atlas with the help of her two sisters.

So with the help of her sisters' savings to buy her fake passports, Ashley headed to Vale to elude the Atlesian military and the watchful eyes of her father and uncles. Although Ashley could not bring her sisters with her, Ashley's sisters had some distant connections with friends in Vale that was more than enough to allow Ashley to adopt life within a new kingdom. Subsequently, Ashley managed to evade what could have been a possible imprisonment, and technically disappear from the grid as of according to the Atlesian Intelligence Agency.

Even with home and family left behind in Atlas, Ashley had to push onward in life as she conformed to her new life in Vale. Heart-broken and left with a hollow victory as a result of the passing of her girlfriend, Ashley undergone the pursuit for a new goal in life and to create a new beginning for herself away from all the action in her previous life in Atlas. One day, Ashley received an anonymous letter in the mail that initially made her suspicious; however, when Ashley opened the letter, she was more than excited to find out that her wishes for a new goal in life came true.

Someone or somebody had already filed and conceived some transcripts for Ashley to enroll within the Beacon Academy; a dream that Ashley thought would never come true in lifetime. Perhaps Ashley could once again live a new dream, and find a way to forgive her questionable past for good. So with nothing to lose, Ashley embarked on her new adventure in hopes of seeking redemption and forgiveness.

Personality:
Ashley, by definition, is a combination of two unlikely personas; a half-blooded country bumpkin and a cold-blooded arctic assassin. Because of the rather unorthodox upbringing for Ashley, she is an individual that is accustomed to the occasional shenanigans in a group, and is quite carefree and forgiving to sudden changes and unexpected circumstances. In addition, because of her family's mostly kickback personality and informality to each other, along with the communal standard of living, Ashley is thereby an individual who has a free spirit and nondiscriminatory optimism. On the other hand, outside of the persona of such a talkative and happy female arctic hillbilly, due to Ashley's sisters teachings in both stalking and hunting in arctic environments and subzero conditions, Ashley is a calculative and cunning adversary that will speak up her mind in the form of her actions. Quiet, cold-blooded, and deceptive, Ashley can be a born killer whenever she is hunting, on a mission, or out to kill someone/something while remaining undetected at all times.

Appearance:
• (Physical): Ashley is a young teenage female that appears to be 177cm tall, and strictly speaking of course, her breast size is a 'B-' size measurement. She has medium-length auburn brown coloured hair and eyes (which are also auburn coloured as well). Also, in spite living within the harsh and frigid environments within Atlas throughout most of her life, she appears to retains a solid ectomorph body type; which is exemplified by Ashley's well-built torso and lean limbs. In addition, as a result of her arctic assassin persona, Ashley bares the tattoo of a white skull (which is frozen under a layer of ice, along with glowing blue eyes as if liquid nitrogen was venting out from the eye sockets) on the anterior area of her upper back.
• (Primary/Combat Outfit): Because of Ashley's assassin persona, Ashley wears a single-breasted ski jacket and snowboard pants with snow camouflage. She also wears a pair of white jackboots and a balaclava 6-in-1 fleece hood that also retain snow camouflage as well. In addition, Ashley wears a pair of white solid sleeveless gloves, along with a webbing system (secured by a H-shaped strap) which consists of two camouflaged quivers; a right quiver (which can hold up to a maximum total of thirty arrows), and a left quiver (which carries a quilt, and a mini medical kit).
• (Secondary/Casual Outfit): When Ashley is not in combat or going for a jog, Ashley will wear a cyan coloured tracksuit along with white sneakers and white socks. Alternatively, if Ashley was not going for a jog and is otherwise going for a stroll or being casual, Ashley will wear blue jeans with a brown or black leather belt; however, she will still keep her track jacket and white undershirt (and along with her white solid sleeveless gloves). In addition to these alternative outfits, Ashley retains a cyan coloured balaclava 6-in-1 fleece hood (which she will wear it in the form of a neck warmer).
• (Appearance Reference - BONUS CONTENT): Ashley's appearance is based off of three sources. Primarily, Ashley is physically identical to Mika from the anime film, Girls Und Panzer der Film. Second, Ashley's primary/combat outfit is based off of the Arctic Avengers outfit from the first-person video game franchise, Counter Strike. Lastly, Ashley's secondary/casual outfit is based off of the outfits worn by the Gopniks and the GTA-IV character, Niko Bellic.

COMBAT INFORMATION
Weapon: Frostlite
Appearance: Frostlite is a custom transformable compound longbow (standing 193cm in height) that can collapse into a pair of Cavalry Sabers or a pair of Machetes. In spite of wielding an identical pair of weaponry, Ashley has given a name for both weapons; Gretel (for the sword/machete in her right hand) and Hazel (for the sword/machete in her left hand). Gretel and Hazel can telescopically collapse to form a pair of swords (1796 Light Cavalry Sabers) or machetes, or assemble together (by attaching the hilts together and telescopically transform) to form a simple compound longbow. The bow strings (when not in use and when Gretel and Hazel are used as separate weapons) are winded up and stored along the non-cutting edge of the blades (and while remaining almost practically invisible from a distance). Finally, when Gretel and Hanzel are not in use, the weapon retracts into the form of a pair of machetes; which are small enough to fit within specially sewed sheaths on the sides of the lower leg on Ashley's pants.
Capabilities: Because of the arctic environments and conditions that Ashley grew up, Frostlite is very utilitarian weapon. With the help of the simple levering system in the longbow form of Forstlite, Ashley can be able to effectively launch arrows at an effective range of 220 yards (without the need of raw muscle due to the assistance of the simple compound system); however, beyond 220 yards, the arrows will gradually lose stopping power and speed. In addition, because of Ashley's time in being out in the wilderness for two long years, Frostlite is quite literally a space-age upgrade to Ashley's primitive wooden longbow, as evident by the fact that Frostlite is made of stainless steel reinforced with a titanium inner core and polymer lining to minimise any chance of electric conductivity in case Frostlite were to come into contact with any electric applications.

Semblance:
• (Name): Cryogenic Liquid Mimicry
• (Description): Ashley is capable of transforming her physical body into cryogenic fluids, specifically Liquid Nitrogen, Liquid Oxygen, and Liquid Hydrogen. To transform into such cryogenic fluids, Ashley has to be in or near cool air (to create liquid nitrogen), water, snow, or ice (in order to create liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen). Once in the form of these cryogenic liquids, Ashley can literally move like a stream or puddle of water, and even reduce the surrounding temperature to near or below zero.
• (Attributes): When in the form of liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen, Ashley can become ice (as when the liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen mix together, the resulting water will immediately freeze into ice). In addition, since liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen are flammable, Ashley can actually splash herself onto enemies and make them both cold and possibly flammable (as long as the liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen remain cold); however, when performing this action, Ashley has to be careful not to light herself on fire or she would otherwise ignite in a fiery explosion. Fortunately, if Ashley were to be engulfed in flames via by this weakness, Ashley can use her cold surroundings she had created to temporarily become liquid nitrogen and transform back into her physical form (albeit with her aura damaged from the ensuing cryogenic fuel explosion) before her surrounding environment warms up. Even so, Ashley can face a sudden explosive death if her aura is completely depleted, and/or if her surrounding environment and atmosphere is too warm or hot to create liquid nitrogen.

She's like a "what if" version of Reina, in a way. Reina went bad, your character went good.

Well, Ashley's story could've turn for the worst in three primary ways:

- (1). If Ashley stayed in the forest and otherwise hid from the mysterious deer hunters (aka, her two older sisters in disguise as deer hunters), she would've been forgotten to history as she lived out the rest of her life in a cold and lonely desolation.

- (2). Another worst case scenario would have been if Ashley killed the deer hunters before identifying them, and thereby creating a repeat of her girlfriend's death (as killing her two older sisters would remind Ashley of how her girlfriend died so slowly and painfully; but it's with two people in the case of her two sisters).

- (3). Or to avert these cases in the first place, Ashley could've spared herself the pain by taking her girlfriend to the Atlesian military for critical medical treatment; however, this would've meant that Ashley had to be arrested for trespassing military designated areas (as Ashley's father and uncles had filed a missing person report, thereby alerting the Atlesian police and local military units nearby), and be sent back home to an infuriated father and uncles. Worst of all, if this was the case for Ashley, she would never get to see her girlfriend ever again as she would've been under probably the worst kind of restrictions for running away (and supporting a lesbian relationship)...and both god and Oum can only tell what kind of suffering and disciplining that Ashley may have to endure before having to see her girlfriend again (which she may never will if history was in this case scenario). Though, I guess if your the man of a big middle-class Atlesian military family, the last thing you wanted to have in the proud name of your family is a teenage lesbian who has the extreme potential of becoming slut.

I mean, there are many other ways that Ashley's life could have taken down the line, it was only a matter of love and family that Ashley managed to hang on to what remained of her former self after her girlfriend's death. Had Ashley's sisters not found her, she might of been a no one and otherwise perish to the harsh Atlesian environment in another few years or later (depending on her resilience, endurance, and willpower). In addition, Ashley may have ended up like Renia, in which Ashley may have turned into a complete psychopathic arctic serial killer.
