The surgery itself is probably going to be in November, but I'm going to have to go in a few times between now and then. Shouldn't be too much of a problem but I figured you guys should know.

Thanks. It should--one of my dad's cousins had the same surgery at the same hospital, and her only problem with it is that they couldn't give her an epidural when she had kids.

(Very asexual Charli, who wants neither relationships nor children, does not think this will be an issue. XD)

Yeah, that's what Nimbus said, so I used my (limited) strategy skills and decided 'buffing your teammates at the beginning of a battle is a great idea'.


Mostly because that generally works out for me when I play EBF4. Which is pretty much the only time I'm good at strategizing. If only these duels were turn-based. (*is inwardly freaking out*)



Thank you. It should be fine--I met the surgeon, she's great and seems to know what she's doing, so at the very least it could be worse. But if I randomly disappear in November and never post again then something probably went horribly wrong so, uh, mourn greatly, please. XD

The first issue I have is more of a personal nitpick, as there are certain words in your app that you may be going at. I'm going to let this slide, provided that you use understandable grammar and the right words next time.

The next one is regarding his Semblance. I can imagine that this one is definitely going to be risky since this is a Semblance that "can manifest their collective hate, anger, fear, and other emotions in to a death stare" or something like that. I see what you're going that tho, but here's a risk that your character may incur while using it: greater attraction to Grimm. After all, the monsters of RWBY are attracted to manifestations of negative emotion, so you might want to put that little side effect in his app.

Eh, I've tried a few, enjoyed a few, and evilly laughed at a few with friends. I did get a enjoyable character or two out of a short-lived one I plan on reusing sometime (probably not here though, doesn't fit too well). Thought they'd have a bit more teaching and learning stuff than they did.

Haven't seen RWBY, but I have heard of it quite a lot from those same, very anime-inclined friends, so this'll be a new experience. A new character too. Haven't done a truly original character in a fair while. Too reliant on a few worldbuilding concepts I cooked up for a continuing series of RPs a while back, I guess.

Looking forward to writing a bit. I think I'll put up an empty app and fill in the easy bits first so I can show off my RP experience

And then Pyrrha easily defeated Lucius Aurelius with just a shield.

That is probably some of the most inventive that I've ever been in text-based roleplay combat. I, like Lucius Aurelius, am really rather pleased.

By the way, I'm basing my assertion that Pyrrha relies on sight to be able to use her Semblance on the fact that she cannot detect that Emerald's illusion during her Tournament battle with Penny is indeed an illusion, something that she would be able to do were she capable of sensing what she wanted to magnetise as part of the Semblance itself.
