I'm sorry for my absence, but I currently have no internet and can only access public wifi about once a week. Come August I would like to return if there is still room for Lazuli in this crazy, crazy world.

There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. - Washington Irving

Essentially a perma calm state fuled by aura?

I guess that's fairly alright.

Though, no stat growths or hammerspaces like the manga please.

Something I thought of for Graham's Semblance, Granis, that I think fits his personality, particularly his desire to protect:

'Unification: Graham links the Auras of himself and other nearby willing beings to deplete from their current levels of vitality at the same rate, either by Semblance use or by shielding, according to the percentage strength of each Aura remaining.'

Example: Graham and Nemo are fighting a Boarbatusk, their Auras equal in maximum strength and currently at 100% and 50% strength respectively; the Boarbatusk barrels into Nemo and strikes him, a blow that would normally drain 33% of his Aura's remaining strength. Graham, however, has linked their Auras with Unification, meaning that the depletion is split between them according to the fortitude of each: Graham's Aura's vitality is drained by 22% of its potential total to 78% and Nemo's by 11% of its potential total to 39%.

I made that far more complex than it needed to be, didn't I?

Well, stat/skill growth was going to be the main aspect of it, but now that I'm not about to go to bed, I can see why that might be a little too much.

Hmm...

Has anyone here played the original Nier? Because I'm thinking maybe something like the phantasmal hands from that, where he summons massive hands made of red energy to punch, grab, and defend against enemies.

Failing that, maybe injury stealing.

I hope the fighting will come soon, I'm wondering how team SHAD will do against the other teams.

P.S. I hate to go off topic, but I finally found a picture that almost represent's Hannah's appearance in her combat attire.

Image

*The camouflage you see in this picture was exclusive only to the more well-trained and seasoned militiamen/women (and heartier allied clans like the Hessians). The uniform in this picture is a mismatch of Mistrlian and Clanner attire; the camouflaged tunic is of Mistralian origins, while the grey trousers are of civilian manufacturing. Plus, the webbing system on Hannah's torso is of local manufacturing origins, as the straps are made of leather as oppose to the plastic/rubber-based materials in every current military/law-enforcement entity (especially for the Atlesian military). Furthermore, the SMG (an MP-40) under Hannah's right armpit is antiquated according to Mistralian military standards, and it wasn't until a while later when Hannah and the other privileged militia troops received superior weaponry, which is where Hannah got her current weapon, Trofastegin. Lastly, the Stahlhelm (on Hannah's head) and Spade (on her torso) are the only two things that Hannah kept when she and her fiance returned to her hometown; the rest of the equipment was either ditched or later to be replaced or modified with her current combat attire.*

(EDIT)

This picture is mostly perfect except for the attire. If only I knew how to draw very well, the appearance of Hannah Blikdase as a RWBY OC character will only stay stuck in my head. I'm a writer not an artist, but I wish I could be both...

I have a feeling Heamet and him would have fun together.

But no, the closest thing that we have in that regard is Barrier Manipulation and that's about it, momentum nullification isn't taken yet.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name:
Graham Arx (not a copy of Arc, it means Citadel)

Age: 17

Sex: Male

Race:
[ ] Human [X] Faunus

Animal Traits (Omit if human):

Rhinoceros faunus
Very tall and strong, large horn on forehead, thick skin.

Biography:
Unlike many others in the Faunus community, Graham has lived fairly peacefully his entire life. He lived in a small village on the border of Vacuo and Vale, where life was hard enough just as it was, so he never really had to deal with racism, and his uncle was a talented huntsman, who encouraged his dream to become a huntsman himself and unlocked his aura for him.

One day, when his uncle was out of the village on a job, a beowolf found its way into the village, managing to get far enough without being noticed to end up near his house. Through a combination of fear, adrenaline, and aura fuelled rage, he took an axe he used to chop wood and fought the grimm, worried that it would attack his parents and sister. Despite all odds, he managed to kill the creature fairly quickly, but not without taking a slash to his chests, leaving four long scars across his neck and chest. Thankfully, he was saved by the local doctors, but his scars remain as a reminder of how close he came to death.

Now, he has finally gained the option to follow his dream, and become a huntsman at Beacon.

Personality: Graham is quite a calm man, despite his large, intimidating appearance. He tries to be friendly when he can, and to the people who aren't frightened away by his appearance, he will protect them with his life. Depending on how close you are, he can actually be somewhat overprotective. He is also quite stubborn.

Appearance: http://pa1.narvii.com/6339/78c95e63a2f8 ... f41_hq.gif
Essentially this, but with slightly grey skin and a horn.

COMBAT INFORMATION

Weapon:
Eisengeist, a massive battle axe, which utilises gravity dust to absolutely devastate anything he hits with it. In his own words, its almost too big, too rough, too heavy to be an axe. It's closer to a massive, raw mass of metal.

He also has a ridiculously powerful hand cannon, which he has nicknamed Armbreaker, due to its incredibly powerful recoil.

Appearance:
http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/eld ... 0513000100

http://pa1.narvii.com/6339/78c95e63a2f8 ... f41_hq.gif

Capabilities:
Eisengeist uses gravity dust, which drastically increases the weight of his axe part way through its swing to make it hit exponentially harder. The dust is controlled by twisting a ring around the axes handle, which releases it into the weapon, making the weapon heavy enough to essentially crush its way through things instead of cutting them.

Armbreaker can use dust ammunition, and its big enough to use far larger bullets than most pistols. It's recoil is so strong that, if anyone with less muscle mass and aura tried to fire it, it would break their arms, hence the name.

Semblance:
Momentum Nullification
Graham's semblance allows him to completely nullify the momentum of something as long as he touches it with his hands. This allows him to avoid giving ground during a fight, something which is very helpful when trying to defend others.
However, nullifying anything more than just a few times a day can cause painful, possibly permanent damage to his arms.

OOC INFORMATION
RP Activity: I'm on fairly often, and should be able to post regularly.

RP Example (link or one shot):
"Oh yeah, no doubt about it." Mike said. "Hell, it managed to get every gun from the four most well known presidential assassinations in one spot, and I'm pretty sure this table used to belong to Emperor Hirohito."

He looked to Mateo, a concerned expression on his face.

"I mean, the building chose to place itself here. That's what the card guy said, right? It probably wasn't even here until recently, and it could probably warp away at any time."

He paused for a moment, before adding something.

"Also, and I'm just spitballing here, but its possible that its altering its interior specifically to us. Like, it's showing you a lot of electric chairs, for one, and it brought out a lot of famous guns for me, not to mention the face of the first person I ever killed, the guy who killed my parents, sewn into a chair in the very same room..."

He looked back.

"Again, its just a theory, but I don't think we should discount that possibility."

I fear that you may have confused weight and mass... Mass is the amount of matter in a given object, whereas weight is the force of gravity upon an object; by your description, it seems that the Gravity Dust in Eisengeist is increasing the former, which it really shouldn't be able to do. I would suggest instead using Kinetic Dust (which, in my view, is what sky blue-coloured Dust is) to just increase the force of each blow. Otherwise, though, I really like Graham - the idea of a rhinoceros Faunus is a fantastic one in my opinion, as is a Semblance that just nullifies motion (I can already think of lots of creative applications for that one).
