Oh, I almost forgot to clarify the setting as to accommodate all the current characters on the balcony.

There are two exterior balconies that can be accessed by the students: one facing Beacon Tower and the other facing the dormitories. Both of the blaconies look superficially identical - there are large oak doors that separate the balconies from the dance hall (always left open), the rails are made of marble and are wrapped with vines, the floor of the balcony is tiled with stone, and much of it is empty for pretty much anything, maybe even enough for a dance, save for a bench for them to sit if they fell tired.
