STAR vs CLAL?
Damn, Reinard's going to have a hard time with this one.
And the others are gonna point and laugh at him trying to cope.
But anyways, I would like to state one little thing regarding the set of tourneys here: try not to get the fight to your OOC head. This is just the part of the RP where you pit up your characters in glorious combat with other characters RWBY-style, and they're the ones doing the fighting, not you. Yes, do your thought-up battle plans and make the most out of the situations your characters may find themselves in, but don't go all "MY CHAR IS BEST CHAR" on everyone else, okay?
As stated in the rules, you cannot metagame or powergame your characters to win the fight. That's just bad form. If there is any metagaming or powergaming on your part, especially if you're going to be going up against NPCs, you will lose. If your PCs are going to fight against other PCs, then you can say they know some of what the other team is going to do but not everything. On the other hand, if your characters are facing against NPCs (should you decide to play that fight out), they have no idea of what they're going to do or how they're going to react to your characters' decisions in battle. Your characters must learn to adapt to the situation if they wanna edge out over the NPC team.
But again, that doesn't mean they're always going to win, no matter how much you say, "Come on, Storm! They're just NPCs!". The reason why they're currently arranged the way they are is so that the Co-OPs and I can be able to utilize as many PC-vs-PC or PC-vs-NPC matches as possible and hopefully balance out. I think that's all for now bcoz I am incapable of dragging out an OOC post to walls-of-text proportions, but I'm sure you get the seriousness of why I wanted to tell y'all this now.
