But Clover simply believes that he's a maid, despite getting the security genes. He's a terrible cleaner and not the best chef.

He's also still 17, he has some time to internalize that he sucks as a maid :P

Oh how we all wish, both Nocciola and Marseille, that he'd escape his fantasy.

Might never happen, but he still has the time for it. Considering that he still dresses the part, it doesn't seem likely.

Well, you have a Tonfa/Battle Rifle Battle Maid that dazes opponents with distorted sound.

A Grecco-Roman style guy with a Flail, Sling-Staff, and Sword that can alter the opacity of objects, making them see through, or blocking light from moving through them.

A Rich kid from a weapons family with a Short-Sword Pistol/Glaive Carbine that can create objects of various strengths and sizes from crystal, eventually extending to dust and possibly metal given enough time.

Finally, you have a sort of Jaun/Yang/Ruby character with a Shield, and Sword/Shotgun/Sniper Rifle that is extremely agile.

You also cover a three ages, one is 16, two are 17, and one is 18.

You have the maid that comes from a long line of combat servants, and was told to study by his master, this (from the bio), being his main motivation.

Then you have someone who is motivated by vengeance, justice, and loss in equal measures.

Next is someone that is motivated by A) Living up to the hunters of family past, B) Setting himself apart from his current family, and C) Protecting humanity from the Grimm.

Finally, you have someone wanting to live up the family name of the Great War, and proving himself to be as capable as his predecessors, and currently hasn't, in the words of the bio itself, found his purpose or place in the world, simply becoming a hunter because it's what the family wants.

From those motivations alone, that puts Lucius Aurelius Firmus and Adan Lazuli tied for the Leader position as they have deep, personal motivations that put them firmly into the hunter mindset.

After that, I'd have to say Clover Nocciola due to the fact that he seems to know what he wants, where Coal Marks (in last) still hasn't truly found his purpose.

Now, that gives us an A/L, C/M, C/N, and L/A/F to work with for a team name, and there a TON of possibilities, unfortunately, most I can think of off the top of my head match colors, though you could do LAMN "Laminated" which invokes images of sheens, but that's not a color, and a bit of a stretch from LAMN.

I see trouble ahead for the team if either Lucius Aurelius or Adan are made leader.

Adan, as you have said, 'likes to keep his distance from those around him, never getting too close for fear of losing them'. A good leader needs to be able to keep morale high or at the very least understand their teammates' strengths and weaknesses, both mental and physical, on a fundamental level for tactical purposes, both of which Adan would be unable to do as a result of his seclusion. It would be like having Blake as the leader of RWBY or Ren as the leader of JNPR; both are certainly effective fighters but neither are particularly capable interpersonally.

On the other hand, Lucius Aurelius would in my view make a good leader - but the position would end up wrecking his mental state to an even greater extent than it already is. He would most likely see the position as useful experience and training for his ultimate goal and his teammates as potential allies in achieving it, meaning that he would strive to do his best to fulfil the role in all of its facets; this, however, would only entrench his way of thinking more deeply while simultaneously elevating him above the rest of the team and therefore making him less likely to be challenged over it.

Of the two, though, I think (and I am honestly trying not to be biased here) that Lucius Aurelius' nomination for leader would be more natural. Ozpin, I feel, would be willing to harness the positive results of his negative traits for the good of the team as a whole and take the risk that one of his teammates (most likely Coal) or even another student at Beacon could get sufficiently close to him that they would be able to help him deal with his troubles.

As for the name - how does 'LACC' (Lake) sound?

Friendly notice that minimum age (Excluding Ruby) for joining Beacon as a student is 17, and being 18 makes you a second year student.

It seems to, it's part of the publicly stated naming rule, but at the same time, might be a Beacon thing, rather than a world thing.

As for leaders, Adan doesn't get to close personally with people, but he is dedicated to being a hunter, and that requires teamwork, and understanding of the rest of the teams abilities. He won't be as close personally to the members, but he'll fully understand how they move and work in combat, and he's not so socially blind as to not see when people are in distress. Also, because this is self imposed so he doesn't risk losing someone close to him, like how he *almost* lost siblings, it's more likely to fade with time (Similar to Blake warming up to people), or whatnot, then issues stemming from Trauma.

I stand by the tie for Lucius and Adan.
