Balance of the Elements

Introduction

Welcome to Balance of the Elements, my newest roleplay as of date. This roleplay focuses on a world of elements and the events that unfold within it. The main plot is to find relics to revive the ultimate deity but you can have sub-plots that build up to the main one. The roleplay takes place in a Japanese-esque fantasy world with Heian, Chinese and Steampunk elements. There are many mysteries to uncover and beasts to defeat.

Lore

At first there was nothing but Zennus, the ultimate deity. With a balanced hand he created the world and it's realms. Many obstacles were in Zennus' way. The first obstacle being that there was no ground so he created Terra, the Earth goddess. There was yet another problem though, the world was dark and so came Ignis, the Sun (and by extension, fire) god. The world became too warm so Zennus then created Aqui, the Sea (and by extension, water) god. There was too much water though and so Glacia, god of Ice was created to store the water away in ice. Zennus created the afterlife and 'birthed' two children, Lightia and Darkus. Lightia is the goddess of the Upperworld, the place where good souls go while Darkus is the god of the Underworld, the place where bad souls go. Zennus was the one keeping them in balance but they have since passed on and the world has slowly plummeted into imbalance.

Elemental Balance

Each Element will counteract another. Water extinguishes Fire, Fire melts Ice, Ice erodes Earth, Earth nullifies Electricity and Electricity shocks Water. There are two elements which you have to ask me permission for, these elements are Light and Dark. Light counteracts Dark and Dark counteracts Light, Yin and Yang. There is an element that only I may use though, this element is Zen. Zen is used by the Ultimate Deity, Zennus and counteracts every other element.

Rules

No godmodding, period.

Maximum of 3 characters.

If you are choosing a god or a goddess, you can only have one of them.

Elemental hybrids are possible, you need to ask me for permission to use them though.

Respect your fellow users.

My word is LAW.

Co-Op's word is LAW unless I say otherwise.

Your element has it's weakness, you cannot avoid that.

You need permission from myself to use the element of Light or Dark.

I am hilarious and you will quote everything I say.

White represents snowy areas such as tundra or icy plains mostly.

Ok, first things first; I need to be completly honest that I have been extremely inactive. Therefor, pretend that I am new to posting on rp's (I haven't posted in any IC for almost half a year).
That and I wont be active until next Tuesday. Just a warning. You know, because I feel guilty when people expect too much from me.

Personality: Shy-ish, Cunning, Cold-blooded and an extreme love for books.

Short Bio: Yoki was born to a pair of thief's who were extremely talented in the uses of electricity. This allowed Yoki to be taught from a young age how to use the element that she was oh so gifted with. From the age of 14 she was taking on her parent's profession and at the age of 15; her blades had their first taste of blood, royal blood. She has been on the run since and has become extremely cold-blooded and socially awkward due to her constantly fighting bounty-hunters and the lack of people to converse with. She also developed a weird thing for books. No-one knows why though.
