Krieg - The world of Krieg, having had over two millennia to recover from the nuclear civil war that had ravaged its surface in 433.M40, now forms one of the core worlds of the Uhulis League, a successor state to the Imperium of Man. While background radiation remains above standard levels still, it is no longer lethal to human life. Regardless, the world remains dependent on food shipments from other planets, as still enough poison lingers in the soil to ruin any harvest not made from meticulously cleansed ground. Notable for the Free Korps of Krieg, who still adhere to the customs of past millennia and still don their gas mask to march for Humanity and its God whereever they may find His followers remaining. Among its populace, the Light of the Emperor has worked wonders for morale - service to Him is no longer perceived as penance-debt. What drives these men and women now is the honest desire to preserve, and restore His legacy.
Pintax - The second world of the Uhulis League, an ages-old and venerable Manufactorium World that once provided tens of millions of fresh recruits to the Hammer of the Emperor, though no longer as the massive industrial power behind the Imperium has since been lost. As the most developed world of the League, it is its industrial heart and now produces the equipment necessary to supply the Free Korps and the Navy.
Temaxia - Reclaimed from the Orks 897.M42 and finally declared clean of Greenskins in 983.M42, the former Forge World was the first offensive action undertaken by the Uhulis League and became something of a symbol for the League as the first major victory scored in the sector by humanity after the end of His Imperium. Unfortunately, very few things remained intact of the legacy of the Adeptus Mechanicus after millennia of having been home to Orkoid life in constant warfare with itself. Regardless, vast fields of scrap metal litter the surface and tunnels and remains closely guarded by a League that still clings to the hope of one day recovering intact technology that may be turned against the enemies of Man.
Velgagrad - Reclaimed from the Orks 908.M42 and declared purged of all Orkoid lifeforms in 998.M42, the former Fortress World of Velgagrad is a largely undeveloped world, its caches of military equipment having long been plundered and home to a small, but steadily growing population of humans that works to extract what raw materials remain in the ground to fuel the League's military machine.
History & Description: The Uhulis League has its roots in the immediate aftermath of the fracture of the Imperium. Though the Astronomicon remained visible, the breakdown of order as petty warlords declared independence all across the galaxy in the aftermath of the Emperor's ascension came as something of a shock to the Uhulis Sector - with little to no Army or Navy presence save for the obligatory planetary defense units that were meant to hold off an enemy until reinforcements could arrive, the few planets that had survived in the Sector quickly banded together under the Uhulis League, a makeshift defensive pact that promised any world under assault would receive aid from the other worlds, even if that meant sending their own planetary defense units into the grinder.
More through luck than anything else, it should be noted, did the League not face any major attacks from envious, hostile powers in the starting years until it had rebuilt its core army that had been so suddenly lost in the great conflagration.
Following a restructuring from a pure defensive pact between worlds into a confederation of planets with similar aimsand goals, the League has slowly begun to expand across the Sector, reclaiming territory long considered lost and not worth the expense of retaking until now. Notably, it still considers itself a transitional interim government meant to bridge the gap until the next Imperium arises, though much of this is due to the sentiment of the population of Krieg.
Currently, the League finds itself embroiled in something of a border war with various pretender warlords from the Orpheus Sector and faces the growing problem of Ork pirates intruding from the Forsarr Sector
Military: 26 Million Guardsmen (12 Krieg, 4 Pintax, 10 Misc.); 14 capital ships of varying type, along with 243 smaller vessels, around a quarter of which are actually repurposed merchant vessels

Speaking of Free Korps, that's the name of one of the forces mentioned in the history of my nation (which I'm currently reconsidering for a more Imperial-inclined realm).
Accepted.
Now answer this, thread: space French or space Muslims?

If you're more pro-Imperium, they're the same group, if you're heretics or Emperor forbid heathen, then it's an unlucky case of names being the same.

Okay, nevermind then. I was going to have the Markian Pact- JUUUUST KIDDING. You and Icthy are going to acquire individuals who have purportedly visited Terra, which has been unreachable for almost a millennium.
