WAAARGH Iron'ead (Warhammer 40k Rp/OOC/Open)

Postby New Strausberg » Wed Apr 27, 2016 9:43 am

Welcome to the Armageddon sector, it has been only a few years since the end of the third war of Armageddon. The forces of the Empireum have struck out entending to finally finish off the warlord known as Ghazkull Thraka and finally stop the Orks Waarghs before they can set up again. You are a member of one of the space marine chapters sent out to try and kill the warlord however a new Waargh is rising. Ghazkull will have to wait as now a new Waargh was come about lead by an ork known as Grimzuck FlashMaw Iron'ead if this wasn't enough a traitor marine fallen to the powers of chaos has escaped a Blood Raven Battle Barge.

Now the loyalist space marines have tracked the traitor known as Marcus Maccius Nepos to a planet called Vorai long held by Orkish tribes vying for control. It is this planet that Warboss Grimzuck Iron'ead has arose as a major Orkish power slaughtering tribe after tribe of his enemies. Word abounds as Orks speak of the "Spikey boy" who recently joined with the Warboss and has been helping him out manuver other Orkish tribes that usuasually would have destroyed Grimzucks horde of Iron'ead Orks. It is up to the space marines and their imperial guard allies to stop this growing Waargh before the Armageddon sector is yet again threatened.

For the Orks however it is a different story...for the Orks the defeat of Ghazskull Thraka has left the Orks near leaderless. Bounds of Orks feel the pull of a mighty new Warboss ready to start a new WAAARGH from the ashes of the last. Orks feel the pull of this new Warboss and his strange company he keeps. Even still the fights have just been getting bigger and betta is hordes of Orks flock to the fledgling Warboss you can feel the Waargh energy calling to you...it is time to set the stars ablaze yet again. All will feel the might of the Orkish Waargh if it is not stopped soon.

Finally the forces of chaos feel the pull of one of their own, chaotic forces watch and wait their eyes having come across the Armageddon sector...the winds of the warp are changing and their is no clue what may occure as this may turn into the staging ground of the next great WAARGH! The events to unfold may choose the fate of the entire sector...

Hello! Welcome to my new Warhammer rp, this will focus on mostly Orks and space marines with a bit of chaos thrown into the mix and obviously some imperial cannon fodder to keep it diverse. So I welcome all to my rp, the space marine factions are Ultramarines, Blood Ravens, and Slamanders with some help from the imperial guard

Orks are Orkish obviously with nobs sluggas mech Boyz ect.

Chaos will be very limited as I plan for them to be a secondary thing not a lot of them.

The guardsman are here too

If you have any questions please let me know

Example
Name: Warboss Grimzuck FlashMaw Iron'ead
Age: ???
Rank: Warboss
Appearance: Image
Bio: Warboss Grimzuck was one of the Orks that had followed the mighty Warlord Thraka into the Armageddon sector called by the power of the massive WAAARGH! Now that the Warlords WAAAGH! Has ended it Grimzuck and his Boyz have started to gather together what Orks they can for a second WAAGH! Of their own, using all the strength he has he managed to make a minor foothold into this new planet conquering a few of the weaker tribes.

It was not until recently with the help of the traitor marine has Grimzuck managed to make major hedge way onto the planet. This startling and sudden growth of activity has set Grimzuck onto the path of Warboss, Grimzuck does not travel far without his loyal band of Orks known as the Boomers, heavily trained Flash Gitz who saw fighting under Grimzuck on Armageddon. With the help of his boys and the traitor marine Grimzuck seeks to, "Make Da Biggest WAAAAGH Eva!" And surpass even his old warlord Thraka.

The ambitious green skin skin is still young an inexperienced, if the forces of the imperium can cut down this ambitious Warboss before he truly learns how to run a right and propa WAARGH then the sector may not see anothe threat for some time...However Grimzuck is no one to lie down and die. On Armageddon he and his Boyz mowed down legions of guardsman and even space marine before being lucky enough to fight in the final battle of Hades hive. How Grimzuck managed to escape the planet with his loyal band of Orks is unknown, one thing is certain he's ready for a fight.
Special War-gear: Kustom Kannon and Power claw with a bionic eye implanted into his brain

This looks incredible! Might edit WH to Warhammer 40k :p

Would it be possible to be less of a Space Marine and something more along the lines of an Imperial Guard commander of sorts? I used to play them back when it was still "Imperial Guard" and am a bit more comfortable with their fluff than the Astartes'.

Yes like I tried to say but it might not have gotten across, you can be any of the four factions" I mentioned orks, chaos, space marines or guardsman

Since you know the guard, are you familiar with Commisar Yarrick?

Chaos is the manifestation of four dark gods known as the gods of chaos. The chaos gods seek to cause as much havock as possible just because they can and enjoy messing with mortal life often offering pleasures or enjoyment the empire chooses to deny people. In some cases eternal life or knowledge is involved and to the physco endless bloodshed. Each God hates the other and their ultimate goal is unknown rather then screwing with The empire as they are immortal beings I assume they are mostly just bored.

That's fine, well I can't actually tell you that much because I don't exactly like the space marines. Basically the Ultramarines are a bunch of super powered smurfs all I really know. I'd look up the Warhammer wiki when you get a chance I'll,post a link

Ah the glorious defender of Hades Hive during the second war. The nice thing about guard is that I have the codex on my shelf.

You my friend are a true guardsman. Currently Commisar Yarrick is in the 9th year of his hunt for The warlord he has become obsessed with so possible he may make an appearance.

My main concern here is simply trying to figure out a way to bring a trap into it. :p
I know most of the lore, though I'm pretty sure some stuff's been updated over the last few years, after I essentially had a bit of a WH40K hiatus, following a bit of an obsession during high school.
Anyway....

Speaking of which, I once had a big Ultramarines army when I did tabletop stuff for a bit. :p
That said, I also had IG, Tyranids and some others. I wanted Necrons, though I never got around to it (instead having some fun with various DOW mods, mostly for Dark Crusade).

Well that's silly, isn't it?

Space Marines are these super human soldiers, trained to the limit and then surgically enhanced, a dangerous procedure. In the end, they are a lot taller, stronger and tougher than ordinary humans. I believe the basic lore included two hearts and half an extra lung...

They operate in so-called chapters which include the Ultramarines, Black Templars, Red Scorpions etc. They pack quite the bunch, basically carrying weapons with exploding bullets, Bolter Rounds, and covered in the power armour, pretty much the best armour there is in the Warhammer Universe, with some small exceptions.

They fight for the Empire of Man and are an elite fighting force, rather an opposite to the Imperial Guard, who hammer away at the enemy with a relentless and unstoppable flood of cannon fodder from all over the Empire. Where the IG are the Emperor's Hammer, the Space Marines are the surgical knife. Fast efficient and pretty hard to kill.

Haven't played it in a while, though I think it's still installed on my computer... somewhere.
I have a dual boot system, so it's presumably back on the XP login, rather than Windows 10, though I haven't actually booted up with XP for years.

He did get captured by said ork and spent a time as a slave, only reason he wasn't killed was because the warlord didn't want to lose his greatest nemesis. Also Yarrick is by far the most badass Commisar I can think of, Orkish equipment work for him, he has his own customer bane blade escaped death several times. Not to mention he got an arm chopped off and still manages to kill the ork that cut his arm off routing a whole army

Tagging. I wouldn't mind being able to play a human who sways to Chaos. Maybe I'll go for the God who likes making his followers perfect so I can trap it up. I think it's Slaanesh who does that.
If there's a possibility of traps, I'm probably going to play a trap.

Never played Dark Crusade.
Heard it`s campaign is superior to Soulstorm?

*Still does Tabletop though with Ork Army*

*interest intensifies*
The Imperium of Man is a vast, stagnant, rotting, theocratic autocracy fueled by ignorance and xenophobia that persists on despite the machinations of innumerable xenos and traitors. Steeped in superstition and fear, and sprawled across countless millions of worlds, the Imperium remains afloat through the sheer size of its population and by the efforts of its valiant heroes who struggle to halt its slow, inevitable decline.
It is mankind's last hope in a cold, uncaring cosmos.
Literally just the Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40,000.
They're really, really xenophobic medieval Catholics in space. FT/FFT. Sometimes 30K.
RP puppet of Orion Posthuman Republic. This nation does not represent my beliefs on any level whatsoever. Theme music.
