Moreover jealousy that Lenavel never got banished, but yeah. Though he'd try to hide it very well since he would also try to hide his magical powers from her as well.

Equipment: Medium Armor, Lucerne hammer enchanted with Ice & a hidden knife.
Bio:

Aedan Cousland was the younger child of Teyrn Bryce Cousland; the ruler of Highever whom died by the hand of treacherous likes of Rendow Howe. Despite his obsession to avenge his family for this cowardly attack the legendary warden: Duncan "performs" the Rite of Conscription on him, forcing him to join the Grey Wardens and the rest is history(I won't write the backstory of all the games lol).

Originally he was a goodhearted man(and a bit of a joker) and became friends with all the Wardens & especially Alister. Things started to change after their travel on Soldier's Peak, where he found out the history of what really happened during King Arlan's reign, he secretly vowed that the Theirin Dynasty will never be re-instated as long as he lived, he fooled himself for a time that Alistair won't rule because of his combined dislike to rule & being a bastard spawn but alas when they arrived to Denerim; as one stroke after another hit the relationship between him and the other "Heroes".

Darrian Tabris(the city elf origins warden) slit the throat of Arl Vaughan for her own personal reasons despite his objections that he could be used. As this wasn't enough, the same day they all argued again over what will be done with Loghain and it was Aedan who ultimately decided to spare him with the outcome of Alistair deciding becoming the King of Fereldan and marrying Anora(much to Aedan's dismay).

After the Battle of Denerim which led to the death of Natia Brosca, Solona Amell & Loghain, he asked one royal boon: becoming the Teyrn of Gwaren. Alistair and Anora elvated him into the position under the condition he will become the Chancellor of Fereldan; a position he didn't wish but he nevertheless accepted while tasked to assist Warden Commander Lyna Mahariel(the Dalish Hero) to establish their control over the former Arling of Amaranthe. When Nathaniel Howe was captured; despite Chancellor's Aedan Cousland to execute him, Lyna decided to bypass him and conscripted him into the order and as this wasn't enough, after the battle of Amaranthe he was named Ban of Amaranthe while Aedan woved to avenge this treachoury as he called by sabotaging Lyna's rule.

Despite he had information of whom the conspirators where he decided to say nothing in order to make sure the Grey Wardens become weakened while he retracted some of their vassals making them either independent bans(part of the Bannorn) or make them swear fealty to Highever(making his brother stronger). Alistair learned of this and fired him from his positiona and replacing him with Neria Surana.

Skills: A decent tactician and strategist, and inspiring leader, and a fine swordsman. Also has some skill with bows.

Equipment: Hand-and-a-half sword (which he wields in one hand mostly), kite shield, dirk, longbow /w arrows, Chainmail armor with a steel plate pauldron
Bio: Aedan's mother, a huntress for the Dalish, was attacked in the Brecillian Forest by a band of raiders. Just when they were about to overwhelm her, a man appeared (named Creag Mac-Fraellan). He was clad in shining steel and, taking the raiders by suprise, was able to quickly defeat them. The huntress had never seen any human give so much for one of her kind, and was intrigued by him. He carried the wounded huntress back to the Dalish camp, where he was allowed to stay a while and rest in payment for rescuing one of their own. Inexplecably, the hero and the huntress fell in love. She ran away with him into Denerim, where they raised a son. Life was good, as Creag was able to use his status as a knight to keep his family out of the alienage and well clothed and fed.

Aedan, the son in question, grew strong. He kept his mother's hair and eyes but his father's face, and had only a slight point to his ears. Aedan spent his early years running and playing with some of the rest of Denerim's children, but never allowed to stray far, for fear of being thrown into the alienage for his looks. Aedan didn't care, and neither did many of the other children. He learned to read and write, as well as fight with swords and bows. Then, when Aedan was 19, several things happened at once. Aedan himself was acting as one of the squires for his father during the battle of Ostagar, and was one of the few survivors. Aedan was broken after the loss of his father, lord, and king, and was one of the few people to see what really happened that day. He fled to Lothering where he helped the templars and other soldiers there lead refugees to safety along the Imperial Highway to Denerim.

Aedan arrived in the early hours of the morning with many of the refugees and rushed home, eager to see his mother and little sister. He reached his family's manor to find that it was no longer his. His family had been evicted to the Alienage and one of Loghain's lieutenants had taken up residence there. He made his way to the Alienage and greeteed the Elder, who had not seen Aedan's family for many days. He searched for weeks, but never saw his mother or sister again. Aedan found out later of the Tevinter slaving operation there, and vowed that he would slay any Tevinter mage he saw until he found them.

Now, five years later, Aedan has become a successful Mercenary leader. His company saw it's first action at the Battle of Denerim, when it was then fifteen men. It has since grown, and has worked quite closely with the Grey Wardens and the King/Queen/thing of Ferelden.

Current location: Redcliffe Village
Other info: Mercenary Company fields 86 Warriors. While a mercenary company, has a reluctance to work with Orlais and will likely end up working for Ferelden, but who knows.

Also, Mac-Creag isn't his surname, but taken from his father's name Creag. This follows an older naming convention in Scotland and Ireland, which is used in Ferelden as well, by Loghain's name.
