So what, evil sadists can't find love?

The one person Hel could bear a child too and not instantly kill it for being human would be hitler. Literally Hitler. Or you can write about how your demigod child crawled it's way out of Hel's nightmare castles, through the dead and into Midgard after Hel conceived when she raped a victim.

You also have to remember the culture. Those souls that go to Helheim and face Hel are the souls of lazy ass Vikings and Norse folk who never bothered to fight in battle. And that was one of the greatest no nos in Norse society. So though she may seem evil, she actually isn't that bad.

Also, she doesn't necessarily hate mortals. She hates the other gods. Not necessarily mortals though.

Therefore, she actually isn't to different than Hades. She just enjoys her job more.

DONE!!!

Galnius wrote:Name: Amelia Harcrove
Age: 16, both.
Human, Demigod, or Nymph?: Demi-god
If Demigod, who's her divine parent?: Minerva
Powers: Expert trap maker
Very good at explosives
Appearance: http://images6.fanpop.com/image/forum/topics/86000/86525_1351981488635_full.jpg
Personality: Kuudere is the easiest way to describe her outwardly, quite artsy, offputting, isolationist, and would rather be support in a fight than be fighting up close and personal.
Biography: Amelia Harcrove was brought to the wolf den at the young age of four, struggling to survive at all times. Whilst others fought, she lied in wait to steal their food. When chased, she used her small frame to squeeze into cracks, trapping others feet, wolf and human alike, to make a quick get away. She never killed, until HE came. A rather large boy, already 11, when she was just 7. He was faster, stronger, and better in every way than her. He enjoyed tormenting her on numerous occasions, and as they grew, he didn't cease. At one point, he even refused to leave to New Rome just to continue. When she got sick of it, she lured him into the forest at night. As he chased her, down their usual path, she feigned fear. Her heart raced, but her hands were steady. When he finally caught up to her, he found to his shock a sharp spear point sticking out of the back of his chest. She had left a trigger there the afternoon prior, whilst all others were eating, evading it by sidestepping. She allowed herself to be captured to watch her tormentor fall, being wounded in the shoulder by the same spear that had killed her foe. A week later, on her 14th birthday (as 7 years had past), she was sent to New Rome. She stayed for two months, hiding in seclusion within the second cohort. Two weeks ago, she was recruited by the Hunter's of Artemis, by her request. New Rome was too loud, too noisy, too filled for her. It never felt safe to her, and thus she made her way away. As her decision was made, she was visited by her mother directly for the first time, receiving the quiver as a gift, with an old, normal oak bow made for her.
Other: First generation demigod, New recruit, hangs around New Rome, received an enchanted quiver from her mother as a gift that has a variety of magical trick arrows (creating cages of Vulcan's craftmanship if you step on their point, splitting into two and boomeranging back if you break one, creating acid puddles, creating mines, and of course, fire arrows and laser guided arrows)
RP Example: IJB
Did you read the rules?: Yes

If you're around Tomia, it looks like I'll have to hold on with posting tonight. This economics project is taking much longer than expected.

Ah okay, thanks. Couldn't find the cabin leader in the archive. So I'll assume its not taken until I am corrected.

Well, I don't see anything in the IC, OOC, or archive so I'm going to assume the cabin leader position is open and I'm going to reserve that if possible.

I only intended on being a key figure in the Athena Cabin, not the leader.
I'm totally cool with that.

I'm considering changing my character from a Centurion to one of the Praetors not for power of superiority purposes but to have a diplomat and well a camp leader visiting Camp Halfblood to add to the alliance and diplomatic importance of the Summer stay of the Romans

Well, Temp pointed out that the Praetors don't leave Rome unless its an emergency. Sending three(maybe 4?) Centurions is a big deal though, and has a decent amount of importance.

Or if, you know,
the queen of the gods kidnaps them, wipes their memory, and sticks them at a random school for troublemakers so that they can make peace between the camps in order to stop the Earth Mother from killing everything.

Because that's totally not an emergency, right?

I hadn't seen that? Thanks for pointing that out, I'll stick with my Centurion then, still wish I had some 2nd Cohort members at CHB though ;-;
