She has the power to control and project emotions, including sleep. This comes in handy, since you can't be attacked by a sleeping monster.
Appearance:

Personality: Quiet, but protective of both Camps. She will not cause trouble, but she will put a stop to it if she has to.
Biography:
Shift your focus for just a moment to the middle of nowhere, somewhere in Texas. Only one or two thousand people around in the busiest of times. Rose, born Rose Dane, grew up on the biggest farm in the area at the time - her parents were never poor in the worst of seasons, but she always felt there was more to her life than the farm. She struggled in school when she went, having both ADHD and dyslexia.
One day, though, everything changed. As she was picking strawberries from one of the fields after school, the rhythmic beat of paws trampled through the field. A hellhound. The beast snarled, and dashed toward Rose. She screamed, and her hand instinctively rose out in front of her. Then all became silent. She opened her eyes slowly, and in front of her the hellhound was stretched out, fast asleep. Suddenly she experienced a warm feeling, and a hand was placed upon her shoulder. A woman stood next to her, introducing herself as Hestia - Rose's mother. After some convincing, like the powers she had just displayed, Hestia made Rose a deal as her only daughter - immortality in exchange for eternal service to the hearth. Not entirely certain what that entails, Rose accepted.
Around forty years have passed. Until recently she resided at the farm, watching her "parents" grow old and die. She manipulated the emotions of the hellhound she had first encountered, until it befriended her without the help of her power. The day her father died, Hestia appeared to her. She told her to go to Long Island, and protect a place called Camp Half-Blood. She took a plane, and that brings us to the present day.

TBH, I'd rather you be the child of someone more... standard. I'm saying this as a co-op, not just as someone who played with you in the past. It's more balanced that way.

Powers: Gracie is able to use a healing aura to treat injured people, though it's best when used for treating bruises and cuts not broken bones.
Appearance:

Personality: Gracie is a pacifist, she disapproves of violence and sees war as a barbaric way of settling arguments. Aside from her pacifist side, she is generally a soft spoken and passive girl though she is willing to speak up if the need arises.
Biography: The child of a human mortal and divine being. Gracie was raised by a single mom in a quaint town in the countryside. She was known for being a bit... out there and was frequently seen keeping to herself inside her house or in the nearby woods. In school, she would fake illness and headaches to go to her happy place in there, the school infirmary. There she would talk with the nurse for most of the day and even help her when other students needed treatment. She went through most of her life like this until she accidentally used her powers.

It was a cool summer day, the sun was shining and the birds were singing, but Gracie had holed herself in her room. Some girls from school had come by and tried to talk Gracie into going with them into the community pool but she declined and hid. As she waited she watched them to leave she watched in horror as another kid fell off his bike into traffic. it was a blurred memory she was kneeling over him, her hands glowing as they slowly patched him up, keeping him alive until paramedics arrived. Later that day she was back inside her room and a letter was slipped under it... an invitation to Camp Half Blood

((Sure, sorry for not including it there. I had been working on it for a while and started to feel a bit weary from writing it.))

While Rick was still not entirely sure why he was training to fight monsters that he had not encountered - which Lupa noted was rather odd - he still put forth his best effort to go along with her training if only due to the promise that it would lead him to a place where he belonged. That had led him into their current part of his training - how to become not the hunted, but rather the hunter. In this he was to be hunted by a wolf, but it was his job to try and mess up his tracks to lead the animal into a trap that he had set up. He was not given much of a warning to this and was told that he would either succeed or fail - no middle ground and no second chances. After being given a head start his first instinct was to head for some form of river to try and mask his scent, and so he did so. However, he quickly understood that submerging himself into a cold creek was perhaps not the most pleasant experience and left him and his clothes very cold. However, he did not want to let this bother him and remember a line that Lupa had pounded into his head over the time that he had known her - You must be tough. It is kill or be killed. And so he endured the cold and then began thinking of a way to formulate his trap. It took him a few seconds, however the not so distant howl of the wolf was enough to jump start his thinking. In the end he decided to do something simple that he hoped would be effective - tear off a piece of his shirt and leave it attached to a bush while he hid in the foliage of a tree above it. When the wolf paused to sniff the clothing he would just down and hopefully not kill himself in the process. He felt that his mother would not be too pleased to have their first meeting in a long while be his death. So he quickly set his plan in motion. He tore off part of his sleeve - biting into it to create a tear and then using that to make it easier to tear, he completed its removal. Next, he attached it to the sticks of the bush and then attempted to climb the tree as fast as he could. Arriving in the branches, he tried his best to steady his breathing and keep his calm. Mentally he was anxious that his plan would be too simple and would lead to him being trapped in the tree, but he was not given too much time to worry himself as the wolf quickly appeared into view. As expected it quickly made its way over to the piece of fabric and began sniffing it, and it appeared to realize rather quickly that it had fallen into a trap by being able to detect the same smell coming from above him. However by then it was too late. Rick quickly jumped out of the tree and landed on the wolf, which replied to his presence with a pronounced yelp of pain. Careful to try and not hurt the wolf but also careful to make sure that it was subdued, Rick placed his hands on the wolf's snout to hold it closed while hopefully he needed not to keep up that position for long. However, his dreams were not quite inline with reality and the wolf struggled to try and escape from its captor's grip for minutes that seemed much longer than they were before finally Lupa arrived to find her new pup's exercise a success. After giving a small nod of approval she spoke, "Very good. Now, unhand my child. We still have much more to do." Rick did not doubt that in the slightest.

That's actually a good question.
I suppose it's mainly because our objective here is not to exercise our writing ability. It's to have fun, and pictures give us a better idea what the person we're interacting with looks like - it provides depth to a character more than words can describe. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Powers: She has an inherent expertise in all art forms, painting, singing, acting, dancing, playing an instrument, you name it. To extent, albeit not as much, she has a slight aptitude in the sciences and history. Her voice and music can also be used to influence one's emotions.
Appearance:

Personality: The most gentle, innocent, and caring soul you can imagine. She always looks after her fellow campires, and her motherly tendencies led some to believe that she was a daughter of Hera. Of course, she would tell whoever said that that it would be impossible, but she says it so nicely! From her five years at the camp, people are unsure whether or not she has ever done or said anything that wasn't out of kindness.

Biography:

We begin in Bonn, Germany, with the musician and actor Ludwig Weiß, one of the most famous of his time. He never wed, but he still had a child, a daughter named Anastasia. How did this happen? Ludwig claimed that he in fact did wed, but his wife died from illness. Of course, he couldn't tell anyone that the mother of his child was a goddess. His artistic talent attracted the affection of the muse Calliope, and she did live in the mortal world with Ludwig for a few years before vanishing, making the tale that his wife died a believable one.

Like both her mother and father, Anastasia showed the traits of an artistic prodigy from a young age. By the age of two, she had already known how to sing and play the violin at an almost professional level. Such talent grabbed the attention of the media, but there were other forces at play. Monster activity was on the rise, and Calliope warned Ludwig before her departure, and they were now on the scent of the daughter of the muse. Although she was young and didn't attract much supernatural attention, Ludwig finally took the warning when Anastasia was three, and moved to the United States and changed their name to Weiss. Specifically, a quiet suburb an hour's drive from New York.

The years went by, and Anastasia's talents grew. Dancing, singing, acting, painting, poetry, all appearing almost out of nowhere! This came along with a terrible case of dyslexia, where she couldn't read anything that wasn't sheet music, as well as ADHD. Nonetheless, she was happy to express her talents as she pleased in the small town, but her life mysteriously changed at the age of eleven, with the sudden appearance of two figures in her life. The first was a jittery young man who always wore a beanie and long pants. The other, a beautiful woman who Anastasia has never seen, but felt as if she has. They both spoke with her father, leading to the course of action which he took. Starting that summer, her father brought her to Long Island, to a summer camp where she would spend her summers. A camp called Camp Half Blood. She didn't understand why she was brought here, and before she could ask any questions. her father drove off.

There, her understandings of the world were changed forever. Greek gods? On earth? Having children? Ridiculous! She? A child of a god? How can that be! Fortunately, she was quick to accept what she was told, in fact, she was almost excited by the thought of living with other "Half Bloods" like herself. For her first two summers there, however, one thing remained a mystery. Who was her godly parent? She was kind and pretty, so maybe Aphrodite? She has a motherly instinct, so how about Hera? No, that's impossible. She has a lot of musical talent, so Apollo? She has a mortal father! Well, you never know. She lived in the Hermes cabin until the special day when she was thirteen.

It was a few days after her birthday, and everyone was sitting around on a Friday night for the usual campfire. Everyone was singing, but it was when Anastasia began to sing that something special happened. Her voice carried over the entire camp, and everyone listened in awe. When she finished, a faint aura was around her, and a lyre and scroll appeared in her hands! That night, she was claimed by Calliope, chief of the Muses.

Since then, Anastasia has lived the normal camp life. Well, if you can call it normal. Fortunately, there was a cabin already present for children of the Muses, and that's where she lived her summers with her fellow Demigods.

Other: As you'd expect, she speaks fluent German, but also speaks French, Spanish, and Italian. Although she can perform any art with expertise, her favorites are the violin, singing, and acting. Also, for the first few summers, she never developed any fighting ability. She couldn't bring herself to harm anyone, and no one was happy to have her on their capture the flag team. Today, however, she does fight, but in a more defensive style, and aims to disarm without causing any harm.

Godly parent: Phobetor, greek god of Nightmares and deep fear. imagine if Phobos and Deimos ahd a child with Morpheus or Hypnos, the child would pretty much be Phobetor.
Powers:

Nightmare gaze: He can create an illusion of one's worst fears and nightmares to nearly anyone within a few feet of him that he can see.

Fear and Nightmare sensing: He can intuitively sense what a persons deepest and worst fears are. This also applies to their Nightmares. Though this doesn't always work on demigods

Nightmare Encouragement: He can't outright cause nightmares, but he can influence dreams to become nightmares. The closer he is to his target the faster the dream changes, if he should establish physical contact, then he can see their nightmare and influence it more.

Nightmare Aura: He has a rather unsettling aura around him, It doesn't exactly make people fear him, but it makes people unsettled. He can lessen the aura most of the time.

Nightmare embodiment: This is arguably his most powerful ability, he makes his target see an illusion that is almost real, the victim can see, smell, even taste the illusion as being real. this requires him to both physically touch the victim and maintain eye contact, it also takes a second or so to activate.

He can create illusions, making others see their worst fears and nightmares. if the persons nightmare or fear has no actual form, than they will just see an elaborate illusion, about that fear or nightmare happening to them and becoming reality. If their fear or nightmare has a physical form then Nic will take the visage or from of the thing the other fears. He can't enter dreams but he can influence them from the outside to cause nightmares. When others have nightmares he sometimes can see them as they happen. He can for the most part sense what others nightmares contain or worst fears are.

He does have limitations however, his powers work best on the timid, fearful, and weak willed. Barring that it takes much effort for him to affect a strong willed or courageous individual. His powers are more effective on the sleeping or freshly woken, but he himself sleeps often. He does not dream most of the time, he has nightmares, this has resulted in him being fearful of very few things. He can cause fear, but only as a result of nightmares, and not because of a phobia, unless it is in a nightmare the person had. He must concentrate more when using his powers on demigods as they can resist easier. If the targets fearof the nightmare is strong enough he can take the objects form, Rather that is what it appears happens. He needs physical contact through out the exchange, but the effect is more intense on the target. They smell and feel the change happen to Nic, but it is all in the victims head.

Appearance:
Personality: Nice enough, though can be a bit scary at times. He likes people, though comes off as shy and timid, this is because he is hesitant of making friends, due to some incidents in his past. he is near fearless, and when threatened he can become a bit arrogant.
Biography: He doesnt know much about his mother as she had died when he was younger and he was sent to an orphanage. While growing up he was an interesting child, he was deemed lazy, as he slept a lot. All in all he was a good child though, he did get in trouble for scaring other kids, he didn't understand why what he told them made them scared, he was only describing his dreams. When he was ten his life was turned upside down, the orphanage was attacked by monsters. they had both sensed him and heard about an incident that may have been caused by him.

He was eventually brought to Camp half-blood after being found by a Satyr. When he was thirteen he discovered just which of the gods was his father, It was Phobetor, the Greek god of Nightmares and Deep fear. His hair changed from the dark brown almost black it had been to an eerie silver, adding to the change were his now crimson eyes. Thankfully the scary eyes disappated after a while, the hair not so much. Now his eyes only become red and glow when he uses his abilities. it has been a few years since then, and he still has few friends.
Other: He is a bit unsettling, such is to be expected given his parent. he just gives out that kind of aura.

You could have him have the curse of Achilles, characters have had it in Percy Jackson before. Here's a link if you want to read more, but you would have to have a good reason for it.
