So I was looking through the bosses special drops and room loot stuff, (Like any good Dungeoner) and found some loot for me, Golden Thorn and some for you! Ring of Shadows

*Selvis types a message back quickly: "Oh my... any sign of that halberd though?"*

*Selvis shrugs.* A quest by the name of "Den of shadows" I believe. Then a thieve's hideout.

"Den of Shadows and a thieve's hideout? I believe that I may know where those would be."

*Selvis grins.* Great! Let's get going!

Well of course! But in order for you to get it you have to land the final blow on the boss.

Lily nods before opening the in game map. She then points to two locations - one just next to the Naledzar Spires and the other inside the Dovon Woods. She then states, "The Den of Shadows sounds like it should be by the Spires, but they would definitely not be in that area since this would be a low level quest. So, it should be as far as we can get away from the city while the game still counts us as being in the area of Faford. As for the thieves, if they are bandits they will be in the woods, but if they are thugs they may be here in the city."

[Sacred Toast]

While going about whatever you are doing, you are suddenly enveloped in a blue light and any monsters that may be attacking you stop attacking and return to where you found them. A few moments later you find yourself teleported to a grand dining hall with an empty throne at the end of the table. Sitting at the table are scores of other player, which you realize is too small of an amount to be all of the closed beta players. You find yourself clad in your starting gear with what appears to be a delicious meal in front of you, however, you find yourself unable to move at all. Slightly frightened due to the feeling but unable to show it, you simply sit still. A few moments later a figure appears at the end of the table - a man clad in a full suit of armor with what appears to be magic runes etched into it that glow with magical energy. The figure takes a seat in the throne and then takes off their helmet to reveal a relatively handsome looking human face.

The man looks at you and your fellow players before stating with a wide smile, “Why hello brave adventurers! My name is Alexander and I am one of the lead developers of Shatter. I would like to formally welcome you all to this world!” He then looks around the room before stating, “Now first off I would like to state why I brought you all here - and I do mean all of you. We have you all assigned to different rooms so that everyone does not feel too crowded with myself being broadcast to all of them. Now why have we done this? Why to commemorate the beginning of Shatter’s beta no less! To commemorate this momentous occasion we have decided to give you all a nice meal, however, before you dig in I would like to clear up a few things. First off, we have become aware of a few major bugs in this game thanks to the testing of all of you! Some major issues that we have come across are that some of your stats have been bugged to make you significantly stronger than you should be, which we did not come across in our developer build due to lacking the sheer number of players that caused the system to bug. Luckily, we have fixed that and have reset all of your levels to level one. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we hope you all understand that this is simply for the sake of fairness. Next, we have also become aware of certain questing exploits that have allowed players to take on quests that give them better rewards than they should be getting for their level as well. We have also seen that some of our units in the Dovon Woods are not providing a satisfying fantasy while fighting and are simply walking pieces of experience and gold. Because of these two major problems, we have decided to reset all of your equipment to the base as well. Once more, please forgive us for this.”

He then clears his throat before stating, “We have also come across several bugs in the housing system that range from ability to purchase houses at a much cheaper price than they are worth as well as the inverse. We have also seen that the inside of the houses have been bugged as well in rather unpleasant ways, ranging from freezing the player within them, having the player take phantom damage, or even simply having nothing inside of them. I would truly like to apologize for this on behalf of the entire dev team as a whole and we aim to have the system fixed as soon as we can, but in the meantime all housing is disabled and inn stays are free.”

Alexander then pause for a moment before continuing, “Finally, some of you may have noticed a bug that is rather… problematic. The bug is rather simple - when you open your menu and attempt to logout, you are given an error that reads ‘Command absent.’ Now, we must admit that this would be a rather problematic bug…”, he then pauses to give a wide and slightly cruel looking smile before continuing in a cruel tone, “that would be if it was a bug.” He then scans the room with his eyes before asking, “Now, how many of you bothered to read the Terms and Conditions? Don’t answer that, we know that none of you did - or at least you did not read it in full. Now, if you had bothered to read them, you would have seen that you have all allowed us to keep you in here for the purpose of testing the game and for raising a bit of public interest in our game. Now, I can assure you that you are all going to be taken care of in hospitals paid for at our expense, so you should not have any fear of dying in the real world. Now, you may ask how exactly this is legal, and we had our lawyers look into this very deeply and found that as long as you were all being taken care of and were compensated afterwards, this is perfectly fine. Now, I am sure you all wondering how exactly you can get out now, and my answer is simple - if you all can manage to defeat several key bosses as well as the final boss being the Necromancer itself then logging out will be enabled. The reasoning for this is that to get there you all would have had to test the game pretty in depth and most bugs would be smoothed out for the official launch. Now, that is all I have to say and I would like to leave you all to your meal! Note, we have muted you all so as to avoid anyone saying anything too… unpleasant, so please enjoy your meal in silence.” After this, you found the meal in front of you to look rather unappealing, but you still ate in silence as you accepted that you would be in here for a while. Once you finished, you found yourself once more enveloped in the familiar blue light and quickly found yourself in a simple inn room. You decide to go to bed. Upon waking up the next day you find yourself determined to do your best in this game so that you can return to your real life. However, as you are about to leave the room, you are given a notification indicating that guilds and parties may now be created by players to help you team up more easily.

((Now, I would like to state that this was all planned from the beginning and is not just so random bs to try and stir up drama or anything along those lines. So, now you all have an actual goal as opposed to simple free roam. Now, you are not going to reach that goal today. Nor are you going to reach it tomorrow. But when you do reach it, it should be after a lot of fun RP! Questions can be directed towards myself. Thank you and I hope that we can get this RP rolling a bit more! ^_^))

Eventually, he is able to track her down* "Hey Selene wait up!" He shouts exhausted about 20 yards behind her company
