The Blackbird was on the runway and pilot Jacob Hill AKA Nighthawk was in the pilots seat. The plane had recently had an upgrade done to it allowing to fly even faster ,when needed, and farther and upgraded stealth was added. The camera had been upgraded allowing for HD pictures and video. After the great success, and tragedy at the war games, critical data being gained via the confidential aggressor tactics with Idahoan forces, but seven men having lost their lives in a horrible accident, the military had nought a chance to rest with the official announcement of the Land Army Systematic Echelon Realignment, LASER, and the chaos it brought. The war game was a boon-such a massive force in one place made it easier to simply send the units to their new homes. The realignment would be cyclical, units in non-critical positions reorganized first, so as to avoid defenses being weakened-but for some time, it would be expected that the nation as a whole would be vulnerable logistically in the event of an attack, and aerial units-already moved to front-line positions after recent crisis, had been moved to a higher alert status. Government officials have noted that the Aerial Brigade Operative Military Breakdown, or A-BOMB, is soon to come.

Week after week of long hours worked jointly by the best and brightest of Freedonia and the RMU had finally developed a functioning prototype of the FREEDOM system. It was not a full-theatre radar-such would be a massive undertaking, requiring far more research, funding, technology, and time, but was highly effective within its area of operations. The prototypes, still undergoing testing, and still-Top Secret, were nonetheless being shipped out to critical areas within the nation, and development of specialized "Mapper" units, large vehicles designed to bring the system into combat alongside a Corps, was progressing steadily.


After the highly embarrassing, highly public failure of the M1A1 Reduction Project, two smaller projects had sprung out, one of which was now beginning to bear fruit. Based on the LAV-25 in order to ease both production and design, the D-1 was, rather than the reconnaissance vehicle the previous had been, a devoted tank destroyer. Being the Raytheon-produced BGM-71H TOW missile, the craft was designed entirely to fit the weapon. The frame had been redesigned, the crew complement nixed in exchange for a tighter frame to support the new top-mounted weapons, a larger, stronger, engine, and the reinforced suspension. Now carrying only a four-man crew, the largest addition by far were the eight recoilless rifles now mounted topside. The BGM-71H was specifically designed to increase penetration, and the swift, all-terrain craft was designed to kill them, firing the missiles in a volley sure to eliminate or mission-kill any armored vehicle. The revolver-style reloading system had been the trickiest aspect to manage, and has occasionally required direct reloading from the crew, a dangerous proposition.

Missile complement can be modified, including such weapons as MANPADS, or even the SLAMRAAM, Sidewinder, or antipersonnel missiles.

At present, production is at a crawl, with minimal industry available, however, with the expected completion of the Fairfax plant, the vehicle will soon be spread to Corps across the nation. The project remains classified, though at a lower level, known to some training units and military higher-ups with the minimal production tightly regulated.

Target awareness, detection, and tracking is minimal, along with other electronics systems-escort by infantry or other armored forces is a necessity, save at close range.
Electronic targeting is minimal. Front-mounted turret design provides excellent optics, but somewhat hampered by angled armor around the turret. Firing on swiftly-moving targets is difficult.

Taking advantage of the open-borders policy with Meaao-America, vast swarms of visa-holders, in some cases, entire families, have been swarming across the border for the prospect of financial gain. Messo America, purchased a rather large amount of supplies from Mexico last morning, several 18-wheelers rolled across the border and large shipments were take out of the trucks. People are wondering what was in those, conspiracy theorists went crazy and said things like they were nukes or some sort of super weapon, it's most likely parts to build more planes and some guns and artillery. But a very train pulled in carrying 10 T-90s and 15 M-1 Abrams, as well as what looked to be like parts to build an Apache and a chinook.
