Both Understanding Campaign and Stull Under Fire Amid Allegations

"Following the massive attack on the White House by naked protesters several hours after the main protest by Understanding and Unity campaigns, it seems everything is under fire for something. So let's begin:

The Understanding campaign faces not only a distrusted base abroad following a multitude of governments classifying it as a terrorist organization but allegations that it is connected with DIAMOND. It has faced some relief from nationalistic groups like Freedonia First which have attempted to stop these foreign actions and seem to be working to do so. Despite the DIAMOND attacks by Stull, it has seen a weaker part in the attack platform as little evidence stands to prove and while cyanide pills have been connected with DIAMOND before, they also have been connected with radicals and high-risk hitmen and terrorists. This also has been a point used by the campaign to show that the US government could have used this fact to lie and blame the attack in order as an act of defamation.

This was backed after a leak came from the NSA and another from the Pentagon claiming that both agencies were in the process of destroying all information regarding the US's involvement in the formation of Patriots of America and infiltrating Understanding's campaign plus a multitude of governments such as the Midwest itself. Thousands of files were released regarding information of the Understanding campaign but details about the Patriot's attacks in the Midwest and many papers about foreign dealings like in Texas, Freedonia, and in the Midwest itself. The White House has yet to respond but this has brought many to be stuck in the middle as Stull's presidency falters more and more but Understanding struggles to recover. Some are hoping that foreign governments may rethink their denunciation of Understanding in light of the massive leak.

Still, the Unity campaign is in an equal problem as donations from mysterious sources and back channels are said to be being investigated as a part of the massive trial against Stull and his administration. It also failed to show much sympathy following the massacre of protesters, civilians, and agents showing a dip in supporters and in donations. While it has the edge on the Understanding campaign, it may be facing its end.

Finally, President Robert Stull is facing betrayal on three fronts. A term being coined is killing three birds with one stone gets three other birds each with a stone. The first problem is the investigation led by the Understanding campaign after they claim he is seeking bloodshed. The massacre on the lawn of the White House and the pictures that follow coupled with the agency leaked further hurt his claims. And with the Patriots of America launching another devastating attack on the Legislative house of the Midwest a day after in Indianapolis leaving 15 Congressmen dead and 12 civilians dead, it has been a tough week for the president. His claims on DIAMOND's involvement were strongly supported but still fall short. But all this is small compared to the newest news we have today. Midwestern Speaker of the House, Hagen Terren, has officially called for the Articles of Impeachment against President Stull for the unnecessary killings of protesters and American citizens on American soil, the failure to supervise and limit civilian causalities during war when it was unavailable, and treason against the United States for overthrowing the executive branch in a coup. The Speaker claims that President Stull must face justice and let the judiciary decide. He also said that other crimes and charges may be added as seen fit. Support from the new interim Midwestern representatives was swift as well as from many Southerners. How others will vote is still unknown. More to come up next."

The President spoke briefly to the press oj the attacks in Indianapolis, denouncing the attack by the terror group "Patriots of America", and pledging Federal aid for the victims. In a brief statement, he blamed divisiveness and regionalism for the attacks, calling on Americans, regardless of where they came from, to treat their brethren with the respect they were owed as fellow countrymen, and to put a halt to extremism and violence. A federal investigation was being launched into the group, with the intention of obtaining actionable evidence with which to arrest its leadership.

The documents released were dismissed as frauds, with an audit into the files considered likely to show them as yet more phonies used in the slander pouring out of the Midwest. Simultaneous to that, though not publicly, U.S. intelligence agencies were beginning a full-scale audit and cleansing for infiltrators, which would soon spread to critical military units, and subfederal governments.

More shocking was the releasing if documents showing bribes and payoffs to Governor Drumpf, both recently, from Understanding-and far more devastatingly, payoffs from groups affiliated with the Midwest during the war, paying him to obstruct the war effort in his state and beyond. The scandal went beyond corruption and into treason-the rhetoric that some North Carolinians had taken personally was now firmly directed at the Governor, with both the people and his Lieutenant Governor turning against him viciously. The President urged patience until he was formally investigated-but a recall election was already spinning its gears, and the apparent connection between American Union affiliated groups, and the new Understanding ones stirred anger.

Assad was partially conscious when he felt like someone was carrying him, and he did nothing, mainly because he couldn't move, and mainly because he felt like it was a hallucination. Again.

The Peninsular War

The attack began at midnight.

It was the single largest coordinated operation since the coup, and California's first real strike back-a devastating attack along every front.

In the Gulf of Mexico, the Californian destroyers unleashed Tomahawk missile strikes at any airfields within range, dozens of the heavy warheads cratering runways, destroying aircraft, and killing airmen. More missiles struck at Mexican naval bases-the ships themselves, save those under repair, had been put at sea to evade the superior Californian fleet, but the facilities necessary for their sustainment were now aflame. Strikes from the Hornets aboard the Carl Vinson took down Mexican radar, and then launched further attacks on the airfields-the pathetic Mexican Air Force had no chance of reprisal. Flames burned in the night all along the coast, and inland, as emergency services focused on the naval bases, desperate to save what they could-emergency reserves were being hastily gathered around Mexico City and other coastal areas in fear of an imminent land invasion,

From the staging area south of Sacramento, three massive Army Groups, West, Central, and East, began their march. The Western group was by far the largest-containing nearly half a million men, alongside near all the professional troops that California still had at its disposal, the eastern one a third of a million or so, and the southern seemingly a reserve force, a "small" group of one hundred thousands. The roads were clogged with the makeshift transports of the group, as they began their hours-long trek towards the enemy lines.

Said enemy lines along the border were near-entirely Texan. They had been alerted, put at a higher state of readiness thanks to the attacks in Mexico-but not at the level of the Mexican troops. When the enemy began to arrive, they would not be prepared for the assault.

The defending armies had no intelligence as to the oncoming force. They simply continued in their pacification, handing out Mexican citizenships, aid, goodwill gestures, dealing with the occasional insurgent, bringing in supplies, praising the lack of air attacks, unaware of the force about to come down on their heads.

The airport had been shut down and the F-117 was rolled out. It was readied and loaded and all that was needed was a response from California and then the F-117 would be bombing Mexico City.

OPERATION GATES OF ROME

Intel from drone scouts previously showed the Californian Troops massed south of Sacramento, and now moving towards the Texan-Mexican Front, leaving Sacramento undefended. Elements of the RMUAC begun advancing towards Sacramento from Redding and Nevada, while recruits garrisoning Nevada are to take up positions along the new front. Radio companies, News Stations, and even Newspapers in Sacramento are being paid to print the message that All aircraft leaving the city will be shot down. Until the Governmental figures and offices within the city are captured, the Californian capital will be under an air blockade, In hopes of capturing President Allen and other prominent political characters. In positions held by RMU troops civilian cars are not permitted to go into non occupied land. Any Assault rifles found in Civilian possession would be seized, and used to arm RMU recruits for the war, the weapon type and owner was marked down, to return at the wars end.
