And with rumors already having circulated that the US government had actually been the cause this group to spawn, due to its power and logistical support, many believed Stull had orchestrated the attack itself in an attempt to criminalize the Understanding campaign. The campaign, in an effort to show humanity, stopped all ads and sent more than 1/3 of its money to the families of the victims and relief support for the agents involved.

The speech was great - but with his little response to those who were not guilty, those who did not actually carry weapons - there was none. And little it did. DIAMOND again had no connection and with the Patriots for America, the radical group, being the only saying DIAMOND was responsible, it took seconds before the media and social media backlashed at the fact the President was entertaining such an idea. He was battered even by his own Virginians as they saw their sons, those agents, killed and the President saying nothing. The Understanding campaign was helping - the President only spoke rhetoric.

The bashing of the Understanding campaign hurt - it really did. But with little to show for it, little to actually connect the campaign as this protest had long ended, it was seen as an attempt by the President to damage the opposition.

"This President is killing two birds with one stone. Actually three birds: The NAR and Erie for their reckless deaths which we can all agree was wrong.
