All Oil wells were seized by the government as the counterattack against the invading Ohioans was planned.nicknamed
"Heromurderers" due to the fact they portrayed themsleves as heroes massacring the evil native population of the UPE.
The recapture of all land occupied was planned as now 35,000 heavily armed Erieans had arrived from Freedonia,another 5,000 were due to arrive and the 30,000 left were expected to arrive in two or three days as the trip from stations in Canada to stations in Kingston would be a long one.
15,000 of the returned Erieans were mustered and sent to what was left of the Allegheny line-essentially a massive trench running to the Canadian border devoid of animal life now.The other 20,000 were being hastily organized into Regiments of 2,000 right now and assigned commanders,with the influx of troops many commanders were mere Lieutenants or Captains.

The slaughter was horrific.

It was a scene reminiscent of the muddy fields of the Somme in the First World War-but at least at the Somme, the British had artillery, air support, numbers, organization-a plan-a chance.

Fifteen thousand men attempted to enter their side of the Allegheny line, fifteen thousand men were caught under the combined might of the Buckeye army behind its fortifications. Light airstrikes were first, taking out any critical targets-but not yet inflicting the casualties that would be seen.

Then, as they came within miles of the line, the artillery started. Canister shot, round after round, ripping bloody swathes into the men.

The few hundred soldiers quickly boarded the remaining A380s and headed to Orlando.
