Southern Unification Convention
Nashville, Tennessee
The large stadium normally used for hockey was used for the convention, as the entire event had been arranged with such haste that the organizers could not get a better venue. Southern unification had several ratifications, first off all military tech would be shared between the two formerly independent countries, an unconditional military integration would also occur with the war departments of the two states merging into one. Finally if also meant the rebirth of the confederate states of America, a rebirth after 150 years of slumbering. The crowd sure seemed to excited waving confederate flags around the entire convention, and signs saying "Screw the Yankee Bankers the south has rised again!"
The energy in the convention was high, and the people could detect it. The sounds of Dixie could be heard across the entire convention, loudspeakers certainly were not missing from the event. The crowd cheered when the song "Battlecry of Freedom" began, with the crowd joining in with the chorus, and yelling former battle cries.
The scene was chaotic and Beauregard loved it.
Stepping onto the stage to a cheering crowd Beauregard began to speak , he would be the first keynote speaker, and spoke at the beginning while Walker would speak at the end
"Today we see the rebirth of a once proud nation, like a phoenix from the ashes. The Yankees thought that they could destroy us by burning the south in the flame that was reconstruction, but like the late governor Williams said, "We do not need those Yankee bankers". While, the people of Mississippi are being fed well the Yankees are starving to death, realizing that they cannot their ill gotten money.
It is a time for reconciliation between the two sides. It is time to put petty disputes aside, and reconstruct the confederacy. We are a direct continuation of the confederacy that fought against Yankee oppression so long ago, our spirits have not changed, and we have grown ever braver in the yolk of tyranny. We have grown strong under the whip of the north, torturing us to work more and more.
The South has rised again folk, and this momentous occasion signals the death of the corrupt Union, and the rebirth of the Confederate cause that our forefathers fought so bitterly to protect. It is now time for all southern states to unite, into one country under God, and if God willing let us last a thousand years!

Beauregard cried, joined in by the crowd before walking off the stage, a few unimportant speakers would come up, and then the convention, while Taylor would speak at the end of it.
