Oh je it was wonderful.
Could be wonderful again nowadays.
The system was nice and the with a little better graphics it would fit greatly into everything else we have nowadays.

Yeah, fill out the map and game mode rosters a little bit, add a few new factions and units and it'd be a great game that simulates Warhammer pretty acurrately.

I think the bad part is they are doing it in the time of rise of chaos...then making CHAOS a DLC faction like wtf.

Reminds me of Vampire: The Masquerade, with humans that drink vampire blood becoming ghouls, often "enslaved" to the vampire whose blood they've drunk. They can also become independent, mind you, provided they find a way to get vampire blood through other means, and that they can resist the bond between themselves and vampire in question enough to get away. Said bond also often manifests as an infatuation and eagerness to obey the vampire that grows over time, as the blood bond is strengthened, I believe.

That would make sense, as well. I do recall seeing it mentioned that if a ghoul drank too much vampire blood, they could have hallucinations, go mad and/or frenzy. Seems like too much vampire blood has a negative impact on their health in general, as well.

Just to give some feedback: Yeah, I was not that much available these days, though I could have probably found the time to write out a few posts. The problem: I don't really know what next. I had originally planed that I now contact one of the Children and we deal like: "Yeah, Victor, I could get you in contact with a guy, who smuggled in some tomes from Sankore, secret knowledge untouched by the vampires censors! But in return, you have to help us with the following job first..."
But then there is not really any player in the "Children" that I could reasonable use as this contact and even if I made up an NPC, I wouldn't know what "that job" would be, so I was just hanging there, not knowing what to write.
