Tharizdun howled, deep set yellow eyes glowing in the crimson monsoon, pitching across the red cast skies. The wind and the sky screamed, as he stomped forward, knocking Hamiri aside, crushing her. Reality itself bent round him, the skies melting away, bolts of dark red lightning arcing across the sky, shattering the world, arcing towards his foes.

He turned towards Patriah, bellowing, and opened up his maw, a massive bolt of cosmic lightning erupting form his massive cavernous mouth, flying out from rows upon rows of razor sharp teeth, shattering the air, reality bending around it, as the universe erasing lightning, surged towards Patriah.

Hamiri was thrown aside, and this time Joaquin caught her. Both of them stared up at the sky, however, as it changed. "...This is not good...He's changing the battlefield so we can't keep up..." she muttered.

Just then, however, Patriah flew out of the dark and rose into the air, having completed his transformation. Now, for a little while,he was a huge, dark-red dragon, with a giant, uncut ruby in his chest. His entire body emitted wrathful heat, which Patriah would release on his opponent. "Someone! Hold him down, now!" he screamed.

Zeruel grabbed Tharzidun from behind, as he was still in his griffin form, and he snapped his beak down on Tharzidun's huge, bloody neck.

The Dragon Mage then began to prepare the final attack. He covered his body in magic seals, and the seals set aflame. He would not be able to hold this power for long, thus he needed to hurry.

Sephroth

Sephroth changed to his armored form living tissue that wrapped around him protruding from his spine. The tissue was regenerative and as hard as obsidian. the armor covered every length of his body protecting him from the acid. He used his chains ,made of the same material ,to wrap around tharzidun. The chains constricted and lit on fire keeping tharzidun dazed and constrained. "Mission accomplished oh wise and fearless leader now hurry up and roast this puppy"

Azrael

Azrael picked Sahaqiel up bridal style and flew away from the fight protecting her from the acid and freezing chains. "I could not be more useless in this fight...." He mumbled to himself. "You ok?" He asked her genuine concern in his voice.

Tharizdun charged, throwing Ianar, off of him, into a pool of fire, napalm and vomit.

The great beast didn't even recognize the blow from the griffin, hot, liquid ice, like blue napalm, freezing everything it touched, spouted from the wound, igniting the foe. Tharizdun didn't even recognize the blow, as the wound sealed up, leaving the griffin behind. Tharizdun gained speed, charging at the mighty dragon with the force of a mountain, utterly pulverizing the dragon, as he tackled it.

Grabbing the dragon by its neck, Tharizdun howled, growing in size, Patriah's throat in one hand, the body of the dragon, being used a hammer, shattering into the ground over and over again, the blows, driving the beast to its knees. Roaring, he picked up the dragon, and began tearing at him, liquid icy napalm spreading across his victim, as he howled into the night.

Patriah was bleeding from his mouth, and it took all his strength to keep his Magic working. "Urrrrrrgh...THAT HURT, YOU ROTTING SACK OF MEAT!!!" Because of his anger and because of the Fire Magic, the ice evaporated and turned into fire, which surrounded the Dragon Mage's body.

Then, Zeruel, who had been thrown from Tharzidun, launched himself back at him, refusing to allow him to harm his friend. This time, he aimed higher, right at the base of the head, and he threw him aside with a huge lion's paw. Jumping on top of him, he continually smashed the demon's head into the ground with his paws, slashing at him and crushing him at the same time. "Hurry, Mage! Quickly, while I have him down!" he shouted.

The Mage then flew at Tharzidun, and jumped on top of him from the other side. Grabbing his shoulders, he covered the demon's body in red seals. Seconds after they covered his body, Tharzidun caught aflame, as his substance changed from Ice to Fire. "That's right! Burn until there ain't nothing left of ya! That way, when we send your sorry butt back to Hell, they won't have anything to burn, that we didn't cook already!" he boasted.

Nyx quickly sprung to help the others, using dark, powerful shadows to keep Tharizdun down on the ground. If he broke them, they'd only be replaced at a tighter tension, the goal to keep him down on the ground. The fact that the rain was physical blood was beyond irritating for her, the thick red substance making her look like a stranger in a nightmare. She looked horrifying, honestly.

Cade also took the chance to strike, shooting bolts of lightning out at the demon, their strikes hotter than the surface of the sun. He continued the onslaught as the others were, never relenting his attack.

"Thanks guys! We've almost got him! Just keep going and I'll have him charred like a bad steak in no time!" Patriah called.

Leliel/Adam continued, in the meantime, with swelling Tharzidun's feet and hands, making them unusable. He found it fun, too much fun, in fact. Yet it was all revenge for taking from him, and nearly destroying, what he had deemed was his.

It wasn't cold, now that she thought about it, it was actually quite warm, and her eyes opened drearily, blinking sleep out of them.

She realized that she was being held soon enough, and looked up to a happy sight, seeing her favorite angel's face gracing her vision. "Raphy..." the dragoness reached her arms up, wrapping them around his neck as she cuddled up close with him, smiling warmly, "Good morning,"

Raphael, who had frankly gone into shock from the... well, shock of the current situation, suddenly blinked and looked down at Otohime with a wide smile, sighing happily and he pulled her closer to him.

And farther away from whatever dangerous thing was currently going on.

"Hi, beautiful... it's a little later than morning, I think..." he muttered, and then kissed her head.

"It feels like morning," she was still drowsy, blushing just slightly when she felt his lips on her forehead, "It's all warm, and I want to go back to sleep," the princess didn't seem very intent on actually moving, more than content to stay right where she was, "Where are we? Last thing I remember was falling asleep in your arms...then everything was sort of like a dream."

"This is kind of like a dream, though," she laughed quietly, "Maybe it is."

Hamiri saw them, and she smiled. Hurrying over to them, she greeted them, "Hey! Good to see Otohime's alright!" She looked down at Otohime and asked her, "Are you alright? You were in that 'incubator'-thing for a while."

"Just sort of sleepy, that's all," Otohime glanced over to Hamiri with a weary satisfaction in her eyes, "Where's everyone else?"

Hamiri had been talking to her before Patriah had called her to help, but now she was in the battlefield. Thus Sachiko walked over to her and pointed toward the battlefield. "All of your friends are killing him, the giant evil demon," she told her, fearfully.

Nick stood back, watching as the battle took place. He wanted to help them in any way that he could, but he was still too weak. Despite how the others had made him feel, he knew that he didn't belong there. They're fighting Gods, after all. After what happened to him against Shen, he knew that it would be suicide. The dragon went easy on him.

He hand shook as he grabbed his enchanted Khopesh. The sleek, black blade glistened and the golden hieroglyphs shined even when there was little light. Ma'at, a goddess capable of manipulating the universe to her will, was knocked unconscious while creating it. Because of this, he wondered what it could be capable of.

He nodded and redirected his attention towards the battlefield. She had instructed him to fight, and so he would. She was his goddess and he was her servant.

He pushed away all of his worries and tightened his grip slightly, making it firm. The light pouring out of the blade radiated with power. It gave him a slight boost to his confidence.

"As you command, Goddess," he replied before taking off. He allowed the pull of the weapon to assist his movement.

She better be right...

Ryujin couldn't exactly help much on this front, attacking with water would do nothing but make their lives more difficult when it cooled the flame, and he simply crouched low, the muscles in his legs tensed as he waited. If Tharizdun somehow managed to break out of his allies' grip, he would pounce, and that would be the end of it.

Shen Lung, meanwhile, growled, inhaling deeply before the amount of static in the air began to skyrocket due to his influence, not only boosting the powr of Cade's lightning tenfold but causing natural bolts to sear down onto Thanakron. The ragon opened his maw, a low rumble escaping his body and shaking the earth before a crimson bolt of lightning coursed out, crashing into the death god with all the power Shen Lung could muster.

Mourir, silent as ever, raised a hand, shadowy energies swirling about him for a good amount of time as he allowed his power to manifest itself. Not enough to kill him if released, but more than enough to push Thanakron over the edge. He gritted his teeth before flicking his wrist, the black mass coalescing into an orb and rocketting forward, resulting in a detonation of darkness that engulfed the death god.

His shoulders slumped then, panting as his life force took the toll of such a powerful attack.

Tharizdun chuckled. Slowly, oh so slowly, the low, light chuckle increased, increasing in pitch, and volume, until reaching a crescendo. The fiery figure flexed, the massive, hulking beast, snapping apart the ropes and shadows entwining it. Fire consumed it, and it clasped a giant, taloned fist around the flying Griffin, crushing it, and tossing it aside, still stomping forwards, alight in flames. The flames of the beginning of time couldn't scorch me.

He walked forward, kicking aside Hamiri and Ianar, launching them into buildings around him, the living flesh of the realm, snatching at them, snapping at them, hungry. The flames around him reached a crescendo, burning up, a pillar of smoke billowing up into the sky, the smell of crackling flesh in the air. The chains of eternity couldn't contain me.

Still he came, stalking forward, the flames dying around him, as he shrunk down to his human form, burned flesh, within silver and leather armor, hair burned to a crisp, but breath still coming out in an icy mist. He reached up, wrapping an icy cold fist around Patriah’s throat, strangling the precious life carried within those veins. Yet, you think you can stop me. Don’t make me laugh.

Ryujin roared in fury, leaping at the beast and tearing him off of Patriah, tackling the black god and sending him skidding to the ground before stamping his torso, grinding it to dust. He didn't last long though, recoiling as his own form began to steam from the heat.

Mourir was not so easily dissuaded. He stepped forward, simply dissipating any excessive heat that would have harmed him, and layed a single hand on Tharizdun. "You're a fool to take on this form." Being of fire now, Thanakron was a being made completely of energy. Mourir was very talented in the art of simply destroying energy, despite what the laws of energy claimed, and within moments Thanakron's flame was reduced not to cold, not to nothingness, but to a mere smolder, and he kept it there, eyes locked on the black god.

Two bright white flashes of light resound the ought the entire multiverse, blinding everything and everyone with eyes to see it temporarily. As soon as sight returned, an angel and a half-fallen angel were back to back on the battlefield, hacking and slashing at arms and legs where they could. Michael and Lucifer had returned. "It's good to see you all," boomed Michael as his golden sword slashed at Ryujin's enemy and killed him. "Hope you didn't miss us too badly."

Joaquin stared at the duo, confused. "...Not sure. Have we met before?" he inquired, holding his rapier ready, in case Tharzidun struck him. Though it was unlikely, now, considering Mourir and Patriah had just reduced him to a cinder.

On the other hand, Xavier spotted them and sighed his relief. Well, at least when he saw Michael. He was annoyed to see Lucifer return with him, but when he saw Michael, he answered, "There you are! Always good to see you, brother..."

Hamiri nodded, also glad to see them. Having Michael on their team meant they had another good leader with them. Like Xavier, she wasn't too happy to see Lucifer, either, but she figured she could figure-out later how he arrived. Now really wasn't the time.

Lux simply closed his eyes and shivered. He knew he was cold, and he desperately wanted to get warm.

Ryujin grunted, not especially happy to see Lucifer, and set his foot down, eyes shifting from the two powerful angels and back to Thanakron's remains, where Mourir, who was annoyed by the arrival of the two, both seeming overly loud and obnoxious to him, was keeping the black god's energy levels in check.

Otohime leaned over until she could stand up, but still remained close to Raphael, one hand drifting down to her shortsword as she watched Thanakron, ignoring the newcomers for the time being.

And Shen Lung growled, unhappy. he had no love for Michael, whom had stabbed him not once but twice.

Sahaqiel nodded, and she looked back at the fight. "You've helped a lot...I'm the one who can't do anything...It's why I've been abandoned..." she muttered.

Azrael

Azrael smiled "you aren't abandoned...I'm here am I not?" He shyly smirked still avoiding any projectiles sent their way

Sephroth

Sephroth's chains broke harming him physically. New chains were growing back but Seph screamed in pain from it. He wasn't the type to curl up when someone hurt him. Quite the opposite in fact. Seph jumped up drawing his sword and started screaming and slashing the ground knowing it to be tharzidun himself although this made no rational sense ,and would probably just feel like a pin prick, it made him feel better.

Xavier handed Lux to Michael, and he stood back and watched. All the same, he felt an odd, off feeling in his stomach. This was the first time, at least that he could remember, that Michael and Lux had ever met, since after the War in Heaven. Michael knew who Lux was. He had led the search party to find him, when he had been captured by Satan.

However, Lux had no idea who Michael was. Thus, when he laid in his arms, he looked up at him with a dazed, blank look. Not to mention that while he seemed to be unfreezing, now, he was still wounded, and his wings would have to grow back. Thus Lux had to be in incredible pain, and was more focused on that than anything.

In the meantime, Xavier turned to Lucifer and nodded shortly to him. "So what happened to you two? And how did you get here?" he inquired, not very eager to speak to the demon.
