Genbu smiled at Ky as he shifted over to stand next to Rachel, his arm wrapping around her quietly. "Yeah, neither did we. I like a fight as much as the next guy, but I felt the need to keep Rachel safe more than anything, so we hid out somewhere safe." he explained.

He blinked. Oh, they're a couple...well, that definitely makes more sense. "Yeah...well, I was just kinda forgotten...no one really keeps track of me, anyways..." She may have wanted to try to comfort her owner. "Something tells me that I may not want to know what happened..."

Luna yipped and ran the short distance to Nyx, whom picked up the small fox into her arms. Her smile turned a bit sad after Lance's last statement. "It's...probably best if you didn't." She said softly, not wanting to think about the pain and emptiness in Hyperion's face and voice. It would only make her want to cry if she did.

He sighed and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into an embrace. "Then don't tell me, if you think that it's for the best," he replied, trying to cheer her, if even slightly. "You've missed...quite a lot, actually..." She replied, feeling more at ease as he wrapped his arms around her. "But...nothing that matters a whole lot...it was more just battles and fights than it was anything to do with the school or personal things...of course we lost a few gods, but...for the most part...things are okay." She explained with a small smile. She felt more comfortable as he held her, moreso than she did only a few moments ago. It helped to distract her from the biggest decision she might ever make, and it...didn't really bother her that much. It felt nice.

He smiled softly. "...thanks..." He replied. "It...it means a lot." Though he knew what she was saying was sincere, he also knew he couldn't believe her. She'd probably forget him in the next day or two, and if not then, maybe a week at most. My friendships never did last long... He thought sadly, though he didn't show it in his expression. Ma'at had said she'd be by my side 24/7...and I don't even know where she ran off to...but I know if she cared...she would've shown up by now...

The next morning, Ky opened his eyes, staring up at the ceiling. He hadn't really slept that much, but it was nothing unsual. He was left with his thoughts most of the day anyways. He'd probably be alone with them again today, too. He teared up, but he quickly rubbed his eyes, seeing it stupid to cry simply because his expectations were let down, simply because he was disappointed. Back to your normal routine...maybe you'd be happier if only you hadn't gotten your hopes up...there are many reasons not to do that. This is one of them. He sighed and sat up, rubbing his eyes once more before he stood and headed into the bathroom.

Cade, in the meantime, was enjoying his time in bed. Asleep. In fact, he was oversleeping, but it's not like he could've known that. Sure, he was a god of technology, but he'd always hated setting up an alarm, even if he did sleep the day away. He didn't really have much planned for that day anyways--well, at least none that he could recall making. Though, even as he slept, he felt he was forgetting something important to do.

Most everyone was asleep, the next morning, and understandably, nobody wanted to get up. Hamiri had especially been tired the day before, after all she had been through. Now, when she slowly opened her eyes and stared up at the ceiling, it all felt like a bad dream. It was over. Her muscles relaxed, as she realized it was all past, like the cool summer breeze that breathed lightly through her window for a moment, and then left.

"Ahhhh...maybe today will actually be normal..." She sat up in bed, and ran her hands through her mussed hair. "...Ugh...first things first...a shower...and then a new change of clothes..." She hopped out the bed, changed out of her clothes, and went to take a shower. The hot water woke her up, and it washed all of the aches from the day before right down the drain. It felt good to not have to wake up to any calamities for once, to any universe-threatening forces of evil, to things that desired to harm her and her friends.

She then decided to get dressed, changing from her sundress into a shorter black frock, sleeveless and plain, but elegant at the same time. She then grabbed some black slippers and put them on as well. As she brushed her hair and got ready with other things, she hoped that the day would maybe bring something refreshing-maybe a day on the town, a walk around the school, a dip in the ocean...who knows?

Charlotte found Hamiri's dorm and knocked quietly on the door, not wanting to wake the girl if she was still asleep.

"Hamiri?" she whispered, loud enough to be heard but quiet enough so as not to wake any sleepers. "Are you up?"

Ryujin grumbled in his sleep, having rested for a good while as he usually did. He hadn't slept very deeply at all, having woken up multiple times during the night, as he tended to do when he slept more than once in a short time frame. The dragon's eyes then flicked open, and he groaned, still not sure if he was with Amaterasu or if he had elected to sleep at the bottom of an oh-so-comfortable river.

Then he felt how warm he was and smiled, sniffing at his sleeping fiance, not sure whether or not he wanted to get up. But he knew that there was something he was supposed to do today, he just didn't know what exactly that something was, and staying in bed to cuddle seemed like a good alternative to just about anything. "Good morning," he mumbled, still feeling a bit drowsy. And then he realized what he was supposed to do.

"I've got to go talk to Patriah, I'll be back soon," he was still mumbling, but stood up, snorting in an attempt to wake up, and he did so successfully, walking to the door and openning it before realizing that he was still in clothes from the day before. "Bo, clothes." In an instant, the turtle appeared and clothed him in clothes that weren't smelly. "Good." The drake found the other dragon's dorm, where he'd have opted to stay awhile ago, and knocked on the door, trying to be quiet since the others were sleeping.

"Wake up, I need to talk to you."

"It was a little bit before I was kidnapped by Adam," she recalled, "or at least, I'm pretty sure it was. It's that sort of odd memory where it feels like it was just yesterday but it also feels like it was forever ago. I mostly remember the event itself, not when it happened," she admitted with a small laugh. "And..."

She winced.

"...Adam... tortured me about as much as he could without physically harming me. Although I feel like that might not have lasted for long. He... tried to break me, saying that I was his bride and that he'd picked me, so I belonged to him. That we were going to be together forever, that I'd be his queen, and I didn't... I didn't have a choice..." Her voice cracked. "It was horrible. I was so scared. And then he left me alone in the dark, all alone except for the other angels he'd killed... and I thought... I was scared that no one would get to me in time... all I could really think was that I couldn't possibly marry Adam, after all, I was engaged to Cade. But then I realized that if Adam actually forced me through it... that would be the end. No more engagement. No more Cade. Just pain, forever. So... when I finally got out... I went a little crazy," she muttered. "I cut Oblivion to pieces, and when it kept healing itself, it started pulling more souls in. So I went inside... I tore it apart from the inside... I cut all the souls free... and then I dropped Adam into Hell," she admitted, feeling a little ashamed at how over-the-top she'd gone.

Hamiri felt horrible for Charlotte, and all she had gone through, as she described her harrowing experiences with the godlike-creature. Yet some parts of the story didn't make sense to Hamiri. "Wait...what souls?...There were other souls inside of Oblivion? What?" She had obviously missed the new revelations that had come with the group's last battle with Adam.

The drake found the other dragon's dorm, where he'd have opted to stay awhile ago, and knocked on the door, trying to be quiet since the others were sleeping.

"Wake up, I need to talk to you."

"...Ungh...Mere, give me the sword...give it to me...now...or else I'll...I will beat you, you..." Patriah was fighting someone or something in his sleep, and his sheets were strewn messily all over the bed. While he had mostly slept fine, his room was hysterically messy, for someone who owned so little. Charlia wrote:"It was a little bit before I was kidnapped by Adam," she recalled, "or at least, I'm pretty sure it was.

"...Adam... wanted to make everyone into one soul, I guess. He wanted to turn everyone into a single being, sharing all of their pain and suffering forever..." She shuddered. "And of course, he wanted to rule over it. With me. Because he was a sick, twisted psychopath."

A small 'eep' escaped Charlotte's mouth as she was overwhelmed by enthusiasm, and she laughed quietly. Classic Hamiri. "Well... we haven't picked an exact date yet, but we're both so excited about it that we'll probably end up having it once everything's ready. I believe we agreed on a vanilla cake, that sounds right, and we were hoping to get married in a church. You know, one of the big ones with the stained glass windows, the really pretty ones."

Although she was very excited about the wedding, she tended to keep her excitement more inwards, being a little more reserved about it. Clearly, Hamiri had no such tendencies, as she was literally jumping for joy. Charlotte felt a little odd about how much more excited Hamiri seemed, but she knew that it wasn't that Hamiri was more excited than she was, so much as that Hamiri was more extroverted and was more likely to show her excitement outwardly.

Oh, I'm being a psychologist, she thought with an inner laugh.

Hamiri saw she was freaking Charlotte out, and she put her down. "Oh...I-I'm sorry...it's just..." She stopped for a moment and wiped her eyes, which were slightly watery. "...I-I always thought I was...going to be there for my little sister's wedding...and I wanted to...be able to pick out her dress and things...I never really told anyone, but...it was always my dream when I was little...to be a wedding planner...But then the war happened...I had to learn to fight, of course, which I don't regret at all...But...now we're grown...and the war has been over for...ten years...and she's...." She stopped for a moment to collect herself. She then shook her head, ran a hand through her hair, and took some deep breaths before continuing. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to spill all this on you. Let's go grab Otohime and go do some shopping, okay?"

...Is she saying... her little sister is... dead?

Charlotte felt her heart crack a little, and she hugged Hamiri tightly before nodding. "Okay," she said quietly, although still with some of the cheer from earlier. At least this would probably help get Hamiri's mind off the past.

Judging from observations, Hamiri seemed to love shopping, after all. She smiled to herself, and then had another idea. "Hamiri, I never really had a sister. I mean, I guess you could say I have sisters among the angels, but... it's really not the same. But if you wanted, you could be my unofficial older sister," she offered with a smile.

She thought her heart was going to burst. Nobody could replace the little sister who she had lost in that war, so long ago, but the idea that someone wanted to at least stand in that void and help her to heal filled her with joy. Hamiri immediately wrapped Charlotte in another hug. Not a bouncing hug, just a genuine warm, quiet hug. She held her there for a few moments, sobbing silently. She thought about all Charlotte had been through, all she had been through, and how they had both come to this school and finally found the family they had been looking for. After a few moments of crying, she then collected herself again, and she grinned at Charlotte. "Of course...of course you can be my little sis...you and Oto...and Haruka too! All of you...Um...tell me, I-I didn't put very much makeup on, but...do I look too bad? Like, is my face too red?" she asked, laughing.

Charlotte understood how Hamiri felt as soon as she was hugged again. She could feel some of Hamiri's tears dropping on her head, but that was okay. She knew how it felt to be so overwhelmed by happiness that you just had to hug the nearest person and cry.

It was a wonderful feeling, not having to be alone anymore.

Looking up after Hamiri asked how she looked, Charlotte hummed thoughtfully and then said, "You look fine. I mean, I'm no beauty expert, but you look good to me. Oh!" Her eyes widened. "Speaking of Haruka, isn't she engaged to Xavier? And... and I think Amaterasu got engaged to Ryujin recently... because of Niji and all, you know? Maybe they should come along too! You could plan three weddings instead of just one!" She beamed happily at Hamiri, feeling positive that would get the other girl excited.

Of course, because they were dreaming, they completely ignored Ryujin and his whisper to him, from outside his room.

Ryujin snorted aggravatedly, scratching on the door, the wood giving way to fingernails that had extended into ebony claws. "Wake up, dammit." He frowned, wondering exactly how he was going to wake the wind mage from his obviously deep slumber, and sighed, eye twitching as he realized that the doorknob was, indeed, locked. What had ever happened to sliding doors, anyways?

As he saw Hamiri run past to his and Amaterasu's room, he cleared his throat, "Can you get Patriah up? He won't wake up."
