[Charlia]

She put her fingertips together in a thoughtful way, looking as if she was in a dream world for a moment before responding.

"...Do you think," she said slowly, "we could get married in a church? A big one, with stained glass windows and an organ and everything!" She blushed a bit as she realized how animated and excited she'd sounded for a moment there, and toned herself down. "I... I just thought that would be a nice place for a wedding... it feels right..."

He chuckled, finding it funny how excited she was getting about the idea. He had a good idea that she was going to say that, especially being an angel and all, and he thought it was a good idea himself. Of course, he'd never been inside a church, but he knew it was a house to worship God, and was usually very beautiful. "Of course we can get married in a church..." He said with a wide smile. "I love the idea!"

"Oh, thank goodness," she said with relief. "I was worried you might not want to, 'cause... well, churches are for worshiping God... and while you're a god, churches aren't exactly for worshiping you... and I'm not making much sense, am I?" she muttered, mentally hitting herself for her failure to explain her concerns.

[Ranoria]

"Tireless little thing, aren't you?" Ryujin smiled down at the now-silver dragon, scratching her behind the ears when he did, "You can move around a lot better as a dragon, I see. But you're just a baby, you shouldn't be moving around this much. You're supposed to be crying and asking for your mommy." He grinned, cradling his daughter, "But that's alright, I'll keep you."

She purred faintly and turned a happy shade of pink once again, which made Amaterasu smile.

"I think she'd be more likely to cry and ask for her father, she seems more like the type."

"Maybe," Ryujin grinned, the constantly shifting colors making it very easy to see what little Niji was thinking. "But she doesn't get to see me all the time, either," he began to address Niji, then, "Because your daddy likes to eat people, and your mommy gets stuck taking care of your adorable little self."

He chuckled, finding it funny how excited she was getting about the idea. He had a good idea that she was going to say that, especially being an angel and all, and he thought it was a good idea himself. "Hey, don't worry...I know what you mean." He reassured her, patting her hand. "A church is for your God, not me. I already know. I have a little knowledge of things like that." He said with a smile. "Now...we should finish this ice cream and head back, it's getting pretty dark now."

"I think she'd be more likely to cry and ask for her father, she seems more like the type."

"Maybe," Ryujin grinned, the constantly shifting colors making it very easy to see what little Niji was thinking. Niji tried to bite his finger, but she had no teeth, so she just gummed it.

She turned green, clearly a little upset that she couldn't eat people just like her daddy, who was the coolest daddy ever 'cause he was a dragon, and she could be a dragon too, so she could be like daddy, except she didn't have teeth yet so she couldn't eat people, and that was a little upsetting.

[Charlia]

"Oh, thank goodness," she said with relief. "I was worried you might not want to, 'cause... well, churches are for worshiping God... and while you're a god, churches aren't exactly for worshiping you... and I'm not making much sense, am I?" she muttered, mentally hitting herself for her failure to explain her concerns.

"Maybe," Ryujin grinned, the constantly shifting colors making it very easy to see what little Niji was thinking. "But she doesn't get to see me all the time, either," he began to address Niji, then, "Because your daddy likes to eat people, and your mommy gets stuck taking care of your adorable little self."

[Ranoria]

Otohime frowned at first, trying to stop him from shaking her head, which he was still doing, and grabbed his wrists so that she could nod, smiling. "That sounds adorable! I like it!"

"It's kinda genderless, so we should be good." Raphael said, leaning down and kissing her lightly. "Of course, if we have twins or something, we'll have to think of a few more."

"Twins?" She laughed, blushing just a bit, "That's way too many babies for me to be thinking about right now, not that I would mind, of course."

[Free Empire of the Low Isles]

"It's kinda genderless, so we should be good." Raphael said, leaning down and kissing her lightly. "Of course, if we have twins or something, we'll have to think of a few more."

"Twins?" She laughed, blushing just a bit, "That's way too many babies for me to be thinking about right now, not that I would mind, of course."

"I think two would be nice. One for ea..."

Raphael coughed and looked away, and thankfully the pizza came a second later.

Her scales blushed into a deep purple as she said that, and she almost seemed to smirk.

After all, even if she managed to get past her fears, no one could ever love her, right?

I'm definitely the luckiest girl in the universe. As they walked, she leaned a little closer to him, just enjoying the feeling of being near the one she loved more than anything in all the universes that could ever be.

He looked down to the angel walking by his side and kissed the top of her head. Yeah, I'm definitely lucky. I wouldn't want this any other way.

Outside of the school, A'yaral still sat by Haruka, near the ocean. Even though it was dark, and everyone else had gone inside, he still sat with Haruka and Kyoko, his anchors in this frightening new world. "...Father used to mention this place, sometimes...he would mention how it actually had forests...and plants...and animals...and...'humans' lived here..." he explained, not certain of the term he was using. It had been so long since he had heard the term used in front of him, and then it had only been used in disgust by Adam. "...Mother...are the 'humans'...kind?" he asked.

Kyoko looked up, smiled, and greeted him with a cheery "I, 'yal!"

"...Okay...I...guess they are like...father's people...some are kind...and...some are..." he answered, whispering sadly. He then looked down at Kyoko, who was staring up at him. He was beginning to bond with the baby, and he smiled down at her. He then looked at Haruka for a moment. "...C-Can I...hold her, mother?..." he asked.

"Of course," Haruka said with a smile, and carefully placed Kyoko in A'yaral's arms.

Kyoko looked up, smiled, and greeted him with a cheery "I, 'yal!"

He looked down at the warm baby in his arms, a bit shocked by how she felt when he held her. She was so sweet, so soft, and so tiny, even as she was a ghost. That was amazing in itself, and then she tried to say his name. His eyes sparkled as he held her, and he rocked her slowly. "...Hello, Kyoko...You're so sweet..." he whispered to her.

"Of course," Haruka said with a smile, and carefully placed Kyoko in A'yaral's arms.

Kyoko looked up, smiled, and greeted him with a cheery "I, 'yal!"

Hyperion simply smiled widely, got down on one knee before her, or at least as much as he could in deep space, and cupped his hands together before him.

Nyx. I want to spend the rest of my very long, very immortal life with you.

Opening his hands, he revealed a ring of purest crystal, a solid band of diamond, silver interweaving within the crystal, formed atomically within his hands.

Will you marry me?

Tect nodded. "Good for you man. I'm the first to go to real school too. Most of my folks come from the Rez back out in Arizona or Nevada. But it was much less my choice than the other guys choice."

"Speaking of which, what's your thing, Ao? God? Hero? Monster? What do you do?"

Pointing out a building with a large series of halls and Doric style columns, he gestured back and forth that those were the main dormitories.

"But, being honest here, I'm not exactly a veteran student either. Heck, I've only been here around a month in total. Still, the kids are pretty nice, and we do have a shit ton of adventure."

[Charlia]

"...'yal fwen?" she asked curiously, tilting her head to the side and patting the side of his face. "Lie 'yal. 'yal n'sh. 'yal be fwen?"

She blinked up at him, her eyes wide and wondering.

He didn't understand baby-talk, never mind Kyoko's attempts at talking, and so he just blinked and stared at her. When he couldn't figure-out what Kyoko was trying to say, he gave up and decided to ask Haruka. "...I don't know...what she is saying..." he whispered, anxiously.

He blushed, and then he turned to look down at her. He then smiled at her, and he answered her, "...I do...I do want to be your friend...And...I like you too." He then continued to rock her, listening to the soft rhythm of the low tides. This was the most peace he had felt in such a long time. There was no pain, no fear, no hatred, no betrayal. It was just a sweet, simple moment with a small baby. It amazed A'yaral.
