They have no route to you. Their forces currently in the AU could try it, but do not have an effective supply line for the exact same reason. The Texans are dependent on the AU for food for those forces-if they attempted to attack, they could only sustain themselves through pillaging. If they returned to Texas, they would have to re-negotiate passage, and you would have time to build up-plus they sort of have an army on their border right now that wants in.

That is the whole point of ending the war. Kick out Cain, get in a pro-peace leader who is anti-Cain, and you are fine. Why on earth do you think your economy is crap? It is doing better than many, and will improve once you get into the post-war period.

Just dump Cain-there is no reason to dump the AU-you have, with the peace treaty, an absolutely perfect opportunity for a realignment that will essentially be a reset for you.
