I am not sure what I am looking for-Spokane is a bit more conservative, and a nice little area for industry, and northern Idaho has those water reserves, but I could look into giving them up-not sure what it would take, though. Unfortunately politics comes in here as well, as what Eberhardt wants matters less than what looks good to the public/the Councils.

3: If the aquifer gets ruined it doesn't hurt our relations

I want the Oregon lands for coast, and to feel safer defensively, (also slightly to not look like your taking a bite out of me on the map)

Map is decent enough-for Oregon, taking those counties seems like it would shrink Cascadia immensely, but I will consider those, at least, take a closer look at them-the RMU does have coast, though, I made sure of that (and I sort of like the look on the map)

For Spokane, it is mostly a pressing thing because they are a check on Pacifica going super-liberal that I worry about removing.

What do you think would ruin the aquifer?

It seems that mostly what Freedonia would get is just a bit more trade or something, which is a lot for something as big as changing borders, especially when Eberhardt just pushed them farther back than most people wanted, Eberhardt probably would not go for it, the people, definitely not.

The Oregon ones are a possibility, perhaps, the main issue is that it takes a big chunk of the state's land, which is going to be unpopular. Still trying to look into those, multitasking.

I think I may end up building a somewhat larger class of ship for my main plan than I had expected. Stuck between two options. A lighter ship would obviously be easier to make in number, and could dock at many a port, but the heavier one retains that extra combat capability that may be needed. I could go a little over, even, to get some multirole capability-but I could also specialize multiple lighter ships.

Hmm. I am putting too much on this ship. Something has to give-I may have to weight-up, but I do not want that. The one thing I probably ought to remove I want to keep just-in-case, even though it is almost certain to be unnecessary. I may have to reduce its armament-I may try cramping up the crew quarters and lessening the total crew load to make room. I think a weight increase is inevitable, though I can think of one odd design that might save me-it will look stupid, but hey, war is war.

In any case, the Battle of Columbus is either over, or just about to be, we are (with growing rage) waiting for Kiser to give a simple "Yes" or "No" on whether to accept the offer to quit the field unmolested.

Lots of naval discussion IC and OOC, Freedonia is building some of its shipyards back up, and starting work on a light carrier-the Confederacy is continuing their own program after their test carrier sank.

Freedonia half-joined the battle with an aerial attack, which was not as decisive as one might have thought.

Alaska and Florida are meeting, the New American Republic is still in a civil war, with Floridian and preliminary Borinquenos involvement.

There may have been something else but I cannot recall it.
