I am the Constitutional Republic (anyone have a better name idea? I sort of like it, but it is odd to say, and needs a demonym). It is basically all the Western states east of California, all the desert and fields-Nevada, Montana, etc. Thinking of taking Missouri, but holding off until the players are set up. Arizona/New Mexico are a part of it at present, but will be relinquished if another player really wants them. (Kiser also wants New Mexico)

I made a handful of mistakes-accidentally gave Tennessee part of N.C., and missed a chunk of Maryland, but we are still in the rough stage.

Kiser is the creatively-named. "Republic of Texas". Williams does not have anything, Xatheucia has "Midwestern Federation", but that is a bit funky if he is going to be the Feds, I still like the Feds-are-Florida idea, but if he wants it, that will be the case. Kiser is looking at New Mexico and Louisiana, he needs to talk to Williams about the latter, and I am keeping the former open for a new player, though I think I should just close it by now.

The Governors of each of those states gave Jackson the full control over the region so my control is completely within each of the states I listed.

Eh, no one is going for that area anyway, so I will grab Mizzou and Iowa. Actually, that is probably too much territory. Grab Mizzou up to the Grand River, so I can snatch those Eberhardt counties in Iowa, that is a bit more fair.
