Backstory: Born in the United Seasonal Districts, Coleman learned the meaning of sacrifice. His father was killed on one of the northern islands in a skirmish with a Hydra Cell when Shane was ten years old. With his father dead, and his mother having drowned in a tragic boating accident, Shane was taken in by his uncle, who taught him various martial arts, as well as the use of knives and firearms.
Six months before his 15th birthday, his uncle was killed on duty as a police officer. Even with the government's allowance, he and his aunt were barely able to scrape by, so he took a job at a farm on the outskirts of town.
After graduating college, he was recruited into the Seasonal Intelligence Services (SIS), and after four years of learning language, more intensive physical training, and memorizing codes, he was unleashed onto the world. For twelve years, he worked with the USD Shield (USD law requires Shield to cooperate with agents of the SIS) to bring down Hydra cells in USD.
Then came the accident-Hydra had stolen a large vat of the new element found exclusively in USD-elixir. SIS monitored it carefully because it had a weaponization potential. Hydra was attempting to smuggle it to another cell. USD sent him to deal with the ten-man squad. He misjudged a jump, and fell straight into the vat of elixir.
He was rescued by his partner. He found that his skin was metal-like. It appeared to be normal flesh, but it was hard like metal, and susceptible to furnace heat. He also found he was able to heal himself by absorbing electricity, as well as perform electrical attacks. He could also weaponize any electronic device by touching it, and could then transfer his mind to it.
Deciding that he wasn't subtle enough for the job, SIS released him from service, and on the President's request, he became the Head of Security for the President as well as he is leader of the Seasonal Defenders.

Weaknesses:
While he is metal, he cannot be in any kind of rain, or he will rust. He is also slower than most people due to his metal weight. As much as he is electrically powered, a power surge has the power to incapacitate him. He is also self-righteous, and often single-mindedly does things without thinking of collateral damage. Hitting him hard enough will cause him to be incapacitated, as well as dents are like cuts. He is also susceptible to high heats that metal melts at.
