Hey Niery, stupid question, but weren't new gods at the strength level of, you know, gods? All knowing, inf strength, that kind of stuff?

A select few, like Highfather and Darkseid. Most New Gods are about Kryptonian level normally (even with a Kryptonite-like weakness, Radion), and then with some superpowers. Most aren't all knowing and infinitely strong, just specializes in things. Like, Orion specializes in fighting, Mister Miracle is an escape artist that puts Batman to shame, etc.

Actually, New Gods vary in power. Scott does not seem to have any enhanced strength or whatnot. Just being a really good escape artist. Orion is only Supes level because he's the son of Darkseid.

True with Orion, though I'm of the opinion that he's above Superman level. They tend to lower Orion whenever he fights Supes, because when he's doing his own thing, Orion is a casual planet buster on up with his Astro Force.

Considering the villain I have in New York hates heroes (especially the supers) you guys could meet and he can help finance your endeavors. He can also work on reverse engineering the armor and give you guys some other upgrades.

Miracle ain't got no powers. Just a motherbox and crazy trap escaping skills.

I think Supes is faster than Orion and has a better control of his ranged attacks. But Orion is a better H2H fighter.

Backstory: Though his life cannot be told, Gladiator's is a story that echoes through history. This earned him a place as a heroic spirit, to be summoned by powerful magic users. He is a rebellious spirit however and can be difficult to control and and doesn't like to serve. He is very experienced in combat however and is willing to die for his comrades.

Powers and Abilities:
Leadership: Gladiator is a trained leader and has a natural aura of charisma that can convince others to fight by his side.

Rebel Spirit: Gladiator can raise dead rebels back to life to fight on his side.

Nontraditional Combat Training- Gladiator can fight with pretty much any weapon and has been trained to survive.

Strategic Mind- Gladiator is a tactical genius and is almost always able to find a way out of difficult situations.

Weaknesses:
Lacks long range capabilities

Gladiator must obey the orders of his master, but does his best to disobey when he can.

He must regularly receive mana in order to maintain his existence in this world, mana which he receives from a master.

Destructive Capacity: City

Speed: Mach 10

Durability: City

Lifting Strength: Class K

Striking Strength: Class PJ

Standard Equipment:
Sword of the Free Eagle- A large steel gladius, capable of delivering devastating fire based attacks, including the summoning of two fire spirits in the shape of eagles, who serve him loyally.

Shield of the Immortal Legion- A full sized body shield that Gladiator carries with him. It provides excellent defense but also has a special ability known as Righteous Retribution. In which a magical cross shaped energy blast is released from the shield towards Gladiator's enemies.

Sorry, I meant that he would need to like aquire something attached to Gladiator and sacrifice it in a ritual to summon him. I'll have to think about what exactly that could be.
