So, if Omega Beams are supposed to be unavoidable, how the heck does Batsy avoid them? I'm trying to involve myself in the Darksied Battle, but I'd rather not have any characters die. Second Question: since Superman can withstand them, could Shane, with his immense durability?

They're not truly Unavoidable, Flash has outran them on several occasions, Batman (Albeit in the JL:U series) has avoided them, though his "Avoid" tactic was redirect them to destroy a Parademon instead of himself. So I'd say if you don't want your guy to get hit by one of the most powerful blasts in the Multiverse, it's best to have him go with the second Option I said. Zeke and DK have used the tactic to avoid Omega beams that've been targeted at them so far.

If you're behind, the worst thing to do is make more characters. Just focus on who you have, and once you get everything sorted out, THEN start making more. One at a time. To make sure you can handle it.
