Serena and Tiana entered the room and stared at the two still entwined in a dance. Their eyes remained stoic and non-judgmental; loyal handmaidens were a rare gift these days. Turning back to Sveter's eyes, her resolve, gently hidden, was plain for him to see. "I'm assuming that our plan still hasn't changed? I'm ready to act my part at the feast."

"Indeed." He says letting go of her shoulders to turn to the two maidens who joined them. He bows to both them in turn, and then head towards the door slowly, walking with his hands behind his back. "Everything goes as planned, my dear." He says without turning back. "With any luck, this will be the last time you see Tikkemund." He pauses at the door, and he turns back. "Have Serena and Tiana pack your bags. I want to be on the move from sunrise tomorrow." He almost looks teary eyed as he gives one final smile before heading off to get his own affairs in order. Formerly Khanastan; the Praetorian Empire is set in the same geographical region, only around 200 years earlier.

The Praetorian Empire is a PreT nation set in a world going through an age similar to the Victorian Era - a world of Great Powers, Imperialism, Political Revolution and Technological Advancement where the capitalist machine is beginning to stir into action and when nations were at their largest and grandest. If anyone wants to roleplay a time in that era, feel free to TG me.

Charles, I send you this message in haste to watch out for a man names Goeffrey the King's Head Steward if he is to be persecuted and killed by religious fanatics stop them and escape with Goeffrey to Honeybarrow. Make the first stop at Mount Shattrath a Duke there will be hospitable towards you. I have found that is better to recruit this man then assassinate him.

Lord Miller: My fellow brothers in arms, I suggest we go to this Grand Feast in Fort Shattrath at Mount Chalice. We will bring the whole army with us, this will be yet another feast to bring the morale of our soldiers up. Other than that, when we are in Laesosphere might I suggest we get used to the surroundings and think of strategies along the way to defend in the mountains when the war offensive begins? Other than that Master of Arms, I want you to come along as my guest and have scouts protect our unknowns as we travel. You will travel as my guest. Other than that does, anyone have any objections?
Master of Arms: No, sir.
The Lords think on this matter.

Æþor got up. "Maybe we can build another fortress on the mountain and have at least 100 soldiers as archers for that fortress. We could also try to launch giant boulders on fire at Kingshill using a catapult every month." He said with a lot of confidence. "That way, we could possibly kill Elyas quicker, while it might destroy Kingshill, and a nearby town, called Þation, which is where I live. But for now, I'll live here."

There won't be room for a second fort on Mount Chalice however we can possibly expand it with the Dukes permission and launch catapults from there. I'm assuming that the Duke has stationed troops there of atleast 100 already. Other than that launching giant boulders from Mount Chalice would surprise Kingshill and certainly bring so much confusion as to start up the peasantry in a fritz causing chaos. We will need the Duke's permission and he has invited me to join him at his Grand Feast to hopefully join him into our alliance of rebels. He will be a huge ally in this war no matter how small his territory may be or how much he can produce it will be his position and strategy that will help us win this war. Your thoughts on this Lord Tyrus?

Right, but we aren't usurping the Throne, we are taking it back from the man who stole it and restoring it back to a King who is most trustful and honest, one who will unite this Kingdom and save us all in justice.

Lord Tyrus Willun, Please watch yourself.

Sir, I am Daron Slackjaw, personal chancellor and head of the Scouting Troop for the Duchy of Shattrath, as well as the Dukes personal advisor. I am writing to tell you that Duke Qaldor Dukalise has been attacked. His Marshal, after hearing word of our involvement of the Revolution, took up arms and assaulted the Duke, engaging him in One on One combat. The Marshal now lies at the bottom of the Valley, after being killed by the Duke, and the Duke is now in care due to a wound on his arm and extreme blood loss. We believe he shall recover in time for the feast, but I am acting as his regent for the next few days. I wish to inform you that Fort Shattrath has been cleansed of Loyalists, (There surprisingly weren't that many) and we are increasing the amount of Security during the Feast. Shattrath will be an impenetrable haven among the mountains. If any of the Lords seek haven, send them here. The Pathways are carefully observed by the scouting crops. and the Militia is Stationed in small out cloves and cliffs around the fortress and inside its Hamlet of Narition. The current military numbers are 100 Armed Guards inside the Fortress, 100 Archers spread around the mountainside, 50 Swordsmen inside the Hamlet, and 1 Siege Engine which can be constructed and rolled out of the mountain side at a moments notice. It is the most secure place in the area. I also wish to inform you that we are currently constructing a War Room under the current Great Hall, with a hidden entrance. Inside shall contain a Map of Lavell and all its Forts, Towns, Cities, and Detailed Supply Lines, as well as a cabinet area for future discussions. We will have a personal tour after the Feast of you wish. Watch your back. Even the most loyal of men can turn. Gregory is proof.
May Yokan grant you all the time you need, for you will need it. - Regent Daron Slackjaw of Shattrath

Daron very quickly hurries up to the Falcons nest after stamping the letter with the Dukalise Family Seal. He finds the Dukes Personal Falcon, and sends it off with a letter of Vital Importance for it holds the secrets of the Mountains Forces. "Now that I'm regent, my first order of business will be to cut that boys hair. He will be courting no girl with hair like a mop." He then walks off towards his study, humming an old mountain folk song.

Yes, I've arranged for us to have 9 horses one for us to ride on, one to switch out on and the last to carry luggage.

Sveter's maroon eyes struck Clara as rather sad looking; in the years she had come to know him, he was rather carefree and lighthearted, at least around her. A small pang developed in her stomach while she wondered about Sveter; when she had first met him, nearly everyone else had an immediate impulse to steer clear of the red-eyed stranger as if he had the plague. Instead, she had approached him, as any polite maiden should've done, and welcomed him into Swampcrest's halls. Those same red eyes had met hers of blue, and she could feel the power from him...and in the darkest corners of her mind, past the formalities and mannerisms she was taught at a young age, she was jealous that he possessed something she wanted. As if he had read her mind, he had smiled, beautifully but knowingly as well.

Her mind cleared as she was brought back to the present; Tiana and Serena approached and began to assemble with amazing speed all the dresses, shoes, gowns, and other items she would need for the journey. Looking into the mirror one last time, she saw a woman staring back at her, one that was beautiful, intriguing...and dangerous. Clara almost forgot that the woman was her. Later that night, when she laid her head down to sleep, dreams of wealth and power invaded, putting her at the center of it all...with a crown of blue roses atop her head...

In the morning...
Clara had awaken, her body invigorated and strengthened from a full night's sleep. With help from Tiana, Serena, and Devlan (her trusted three, as she referred to them) she had put the remaining bags in the carriage. Sveter wouldn't be too much longer, she knew to herself; he always had a habit of arriving at the perfect time.

As Tyrus packed his bags in his room, alone as usual, there came a knock at his door. He straightened up, and went to open it. The servant girl, Lilla, who he had met the other night stood in front of him. She seemed frightened. "Sir," she said, "A letter has just arrived for you. Its marked with the Shatrath seal, but it is signed by someone other than the Duke. I didnt mean to read it, sir, I swear, but I still happened to see it."

"Give it here," said Tyrus, holding his hand out. She held it forward, and he took it. He turned back into his room and opened it, scanning the message. It detailed an attempted coup at Shatrath, by the master at arms. He read it twice, before turning around and facing Lilla again. "Find Sir Kinsonton for me, he must hear of this."

The girl nodded, and hurried off down the hall. Tyrus sat down at his desk, and quickly took a piece of paper from the basket and a pen. He rolled out the paper, and began to write a letter to his wife, who was currently watching his holdings in his absence.

My Dear Marey,
I write to you in urgency. I fear that the catalyst to spark a war has just appeared. Duke Qaldor Dukalise, one of our familys vassals, has had an attempt on his life made after anouncing that he will support me if we go to war with the Wild King Elyas. I fear for the realm, and believe that our best course of action is to call the banners. In my absence, this duty falls on you. I must ride with our new allies to the Dukes holdings, for a feast, and now to show faith. I would have had you attend as well, but in the face of such an action I must insist that you remain in Shimmergarde, for your saftey. Tell Jethry and Bryn what has happened, and what I am doing. They are men now, and if something is to happen, than it would fall on Jethry to protect our home. Answer Ellins questions, she is young, and will be curious.

With love, your husband Tyrus.

Tyrus rolled the letter, and heated wax from a candle, which he pored onto it. He took his seal, and pressed it into the wax. He stared ahead for a minute, until another knock sounded on his door. He stood, and opened it. Lilla and Sir Kinsonton stood outside, looking serious.

"Lilla," said Tyrus, "take this letter to the pigeons. It is for my wife, concerning what is happening." She took it, and quickly walked away.

"Kinsonton," said Tyrus, "Come in. Are you aware of what has happened?"

"No, my Lord," said the knight, "but judging from the look about you, I suspect that it is not good."

"Your right, old friend, it is not good. The master at arms of Shatrath has made an attempt on Duke Qaldor Dukalise, upon his announcement that he would support our side in war." Kinsonton looked at Tyrus, and his face became darker, "I need you to organize your best men. Tell them to ride ahead of us to Shatrath, to suppress any news of this incident. If word was to get out about this, I worry what may come of it."

Kinsonton nodded, before saying, "And you sir? What do you plan to do?"

"I plan to tell our new allies," he said. The two men stood and looked at each other, before Tyrus spoke again. "Go, do as I have said. Ill speak to the lords."

The two men left the room quickly, and headed in opposite directions. Tyrus walked fast down the hall, and when he reached teh great hall, where the lords had been meeting, he had to restrain himself from running. When he reached his allies, he sat down on the bench with them, and looked around. "I have just recieved a letter," he said, "The Duke, Qaldor, has just had an attempt made on his life. I do not know what this means for the future, but I fear that it may spark the war that we have been planning for." He looked around at the faces of the tabel, before continuing. "I do not know how your soldiers operate, but in this situation I call on my bannermen, who will send me professional soldiers to help defend my realm. You men may decide to do something else, perhaps stay here, but I myself, and my men, are going to depart on the morrow, to Shatrath, so as to show our faith for their duke in this trying time."

Lord Astor Pelianos
Riverhold, Laesophere

Astor Pelianos once again held court within his hall, petitions from the smallfolk making their way to his dais. The day had been long, and he was feeling particularly irritable, as all men do after long hours of unceasing work. "My Lord, a representative from the Crown brings a petition to you regarding a case involving five of your peasants in Wallick," his steward whispered in his ear. With a sigh, Lord Astor gave a tired smile and spoke, "But of course, we are always welcoming to representatives of the King, who we all serve." The representative, a somewhat plump man with a fur coat and a bronze medallion around his neck with the seal of the King emblazoned upon it, did not show the courtesy of bowing to Astor and instead went right ahead with his petition. "My Lord, five of your peasants in the village called Wallick were set upon a caravan bearing the king's protection this past fortnight, stealing food that was meant for the capital and wounding two of its guards. I am instructing you to find these men and hang them, or else we may need to send a force of our own to execute the King's justice." The hall grew silent as the veiled threat uttered by the foolish envoy settled into the ears of those within the chamber. Lord Astor himself was no longer smiling...nor was he pleased. "You dare threaten me, in my hall?" "My Lord, it is not a threat, but all the same -" "STILL YOUR TONGUE, WORM!" Astor boomed. "You steal grain and other produce from my villagers, then have the audacity to throw a fit when they try to feed their families? Pah, our late King would never subject himself to threatening the commoners and stealing their food, let alone refuse to pay for it. Your petition, or order, is hereby rejected. Go, ride back to Kingshill and tell the Wild King that if he wants to talk to me about justice, then he should ponder the meaning of the word when he stands over the graves of his father and brothers! Begone!" The representative, startled, waddled out of the hall, in shock of what just transpired. After the doors had closed, Astor stood from his chair. "I am tired, we will continue hearing petitions at a later date. Tylos guide us." And with that, Astor left the hall, his steward in tow. When they were out of earshot, the steward panicked. "My Lord, that was not wise. We should call back the envoy, bribe him and give him his justice. Lest we meet with the King's army." "Florian, have you forgotten? The whole realm, the whole Kingdom, are in arms against the Usurper. I care not about the feelings for the envoy of a disgraceful tyrant, nor of the feelings for said tyrant. What will be more important is our relations with the rest of the Kingdom's nobles who may be on the fence in regards to their feelings concerning the King." "Funny you mention that, my Lord. A letter came for you, from Duke Qaldor Dukalise of Shattrath. It is an invitation for a grand feast in Shattrath, and after this development, I would advise you to attend, not just to secure Riverhold for your family, but also to find a bride. You must have an heir, my Lord." "Of course, Florian. I understand. Alert my household that I will be making my way for Shattrath tomorrow. You will manage things whilst I am away." The steward bowed and began to make preparations for his lord to travel to Shattrath.
Duke Qaldor Dukalise, Duke of Shattrath,
I would be honored to attend your feast. Please expect my presence, and that of fifteen of my guards and two servants. I hope to see you in short time and, through our common vassalage to our Lord Tyrus Willun, to embrace you as friend and ally in the service of our Lord. Tylos guide you.

With Best Wishes,

Lord Astor Pelianos of Riverhold

The next day, Lord Astor Pelianos, decked in his armor and carrying his sword, "Justice's Fang", followed by fifteen of his best guards and a carriage carrying two of his servants and some supplies for the trip, made his way to Shattrath, unaware of the attempted coup that had occurred against his soon-to-be host.

Preperation for the Grand Feast, Peak of Mount Chalice

I walk up to the peak of Mt.Chalice. A flat topped step-like area originally used for farm land, it has been turned into a park now. A bit of beauty at the top of such a dangerous mountain. It now had been renovated again, to become the grounds for the Grand Feast. The grounds are vast and there is a massive table large enough to hold all of the guests that will be arriving later. The lords and ladies have been given quarters of various sizes and and views depending on their rank, with the Lords and lady Clara given the best quarter, down to petty lords who get the smallest. The soldiers and other attendants have accommodations set up in the small hamlet outside, and small outposts have been set up in order to check the arrivals for Invitations.

I walk to the top and look at the decor, and tbe scent of roast chicken, boat, soups of all kind, roasted, grilled, and boiled vegetables for spots around the table as the servants quickly set up small fires on small Steppes above the Feasting Grounds to heat the food and keep the drink stored until the guests arrive. Musicians and performers have begun arriving and are taking their places surrounding the Table on their own special cliffs given to tnem, specifically chosen so the mountains will create a perfect echo for their sound.

"The feast we have been waiting for has finally arrived! The guards shall be able to secure this position and the mountain base perfectly, and only people with invitations are to be allowed in unless I say otherwise. Now, Open the Gates!" And with that the sergeants rush down to the bottom level, and open the massive iron gates that lead to the ground level courtyard of Shattrath. The Dukes personal Guard form a path, and the small guard post at the mouth of the mountain pass can be barley seen. 2 massive statues of men, slaves, harckening back to the mountains days as a mine, stand guard on the left and right of the 30 foot gate, reaching up to 45 feet each. It is a truly monumental sight, and hopefully the guests will feel secure on the top of the most heavily fortified mountain in Lavell.

Qaldor lets a smile peak out as he hold his shoulder. "The time to meet my brothers has arrived."

Yes, I've arranged for us to have 9 horses one for us to ride on, one to switch out on and the last to carry luggage.

"Ah, lets go then." He shook his hand, and drew his sword, and walked out of the fortress.

We need to plan our next move, the fact is we need to secure weapon shipments and supplies. Cause we will need to arm ourselves when this war starts and we can cause mayhem in the city while your in the front attacking. If we can get allies in the Kings guard we could take the king off the throne. That is if we replace the old guard.

Frederickson runs in with a letter attached to a bird. It has the Royal seal of Lord Frederick Miller.

To Charles Goodford, from Lord Miller

Charles, I send you this message in haste to watch out for a man names Goeffrey the King's Head Steward if he is to be persecuted and killed by religious fanatics stop them and escape with Goeffrey to Honeybarrow. Make the first stop at Mount Shattrath a Duke there will be hospitable towards you. I have found that is better to recruit this man then assassinate him.

Godspeed Charles, Signed, Lord Miller

A man I was suppose to have murdered is now to be saved. He is the King's Head Steward. We must save this man and escort him to the Fortress of Honeybarrow when the time comes. Be warned. Perhaps you should send him a letter requesting loyal troops.

Fortress of Honeybarrow
Council room

Saxon walked back over to his desk and sat down, "I dont trust that man, he is as much of a snake as the King. I wont request troops from him, I'd sooner attack the king myself before I let him fill his troops in the Guard." Informed Saxon as he grabbed a few letter and burned them. The letter pertained to Division information that couldn't be found out by any loyalists. Division standards was to burn the letter after you had made a reply and found out the meaning. Then he had rejoined the group, "Regardless, my captains and I will discuss our next move. I believe that we will need to lets say stop the smithery from building more weapons. The more weapons he has in stock, the longer this war will go on. So I am going to send some of my men to set it on fire from the inside to make it look like an accident. If all goes well, we will have one less foundry to worry about." informed Saxon.

Good, idea if you can start sending some troops to harass his loyalists. Don't destroy all the foundries and smitheries, if we can salvage some for our own use when it comes time to take Kingshill, we will need them. Or, you could harass the smitheries and foundries into producing weapons and armor for you and then putting it into a warehouse that Lord Miller will provide the funds to rent or buy the deed to.

3/4s into the trip to Mount Chalice

Lord Miller: I have the need to relieve myself, Master of Arms tell the soldiers this is a rest stop do whatever necessities must be done and make sure your scouts are watching extra close while we are stopped here. Dismissed.
Lord Miller walks into the woods for some privacy clanking the whole way in his suit of armor Greatsword on his back. As he finishes relieving himself and is about to put his helmet on he hears several rustles in the bushes and trees around him assuming they are just forest critters. Then he hears it agains and an eerie feeling washes over him. The rasp of his blade is loud and can be heard by al othe critters making them run, but the rustling continues and that's when he knows he's been beset upon.
Lord Miller: Show yourself you honorless coward, face me like a man.
And then a woman and 3 men come out from the camouflage of the greenery the woman wearing a leather jerkin whilst the other 3 men wear chain mail. They unsheathed their weapons the woman wielding a shortword and the men wielding axes. Lord Miller quickly without saying a word brings his Greatsword over his head and cuts into one of the men's shoulder dazing him to bleed out in a few minutes, Frederick then yanks his Greatsword out of the cut and slashes for the second man but, misses due to the sheer weight of the Greatsword he is not there in time and the assassin swings the axe onto Frederick's arm when he'd missed the swing, the axe glances off but leaves a dent. Lord Miller regains his strength pulls the Greatsword up for a fake overhead swing to better yet slice into the man who'd hit him. The Greatsword goes halfway through leaving the man gurgling blood and falling to the ground guts spilling out and praying to his gods. The Greatsword is stuck and Lord Miller is about to be struck from behind on his right shoulder by the third man, Freddrick can't pull the Greatsword out so he turns and rams the man knocking him six feet into the tree. The woman stands there unfazed and shoves the shortword as far as it can go into his left side, it penetrates and Frederick shrieks in agony louder than he has ever has before in battle. It can heard for miles and that's when the Master of Arms new something was wrong, he'd been gone atleast 25 minutes now, there was a loud shriek of pain from the direction of which Frederick advanced to relieve himself and then that's when the Master of Arms sends a group of soldiers and his scouts further into the trees to find him. Lord Miller lays on his frontside next to the three dead bodies still impaled with the shortword in his left side. The scouts find him the women gone long ago and the incapacitated man by the tree and rush him back to camp where they will spend the night treating him, Lord of Iglothra, Frederick Miller may not live, and if he dies the rebellion cause goes with him...

Arrival at Fort Shattrath

Outside the sturdy gates of Fort Shattrath, the Master of Arms rides ahead and signals that Lord Frederick Miller is here.
Master of Arms: Lord Frederick Miller is here, open the gates please! We request medical aid there was an attempted assassination on Lord Miller. Lord Miller lays on his sick bed looking grim having lost a lot of blood from the large wound in his side, he would not be fighting for a while and certainly not walking.

Tyrus Willun and his men came to the foot of a great mountain. He looked up it, to where a castle could be seen, jutting up into the air in a far more dramatic fashion than most. While most fortresses and castles had the space to build outwards, Shatrath didn't, and so it had been built upwards toward the sky. He looked upwards, as his men passed by, before spurring his horse and riding on.

As he neared the gate to the long, steep path that led up to the castle, he admired the two statues that towered up above him. He worried that he may have been to late to show his condolences to his Vassal, and that Qaldor would have already died. He and his men had been held up on the road for 3 day when they came across a party of soldiers from Obbinium. The Kings men. He had demanded they tell him why they were there, and they had said nothing for while, just continued on riding. Tyrus had turned his entire company around and followed them south, until they told him what they were in his lands for. Apparently a few peasants had raided a caravan in the southern reaches of his holdings, in another of his Vassals territory, and they had been deployed to capture them. He told the Kings men to leave, and when they refused, he threatened to have them imprisoned. They left, but he wondered if they were going to just continue on their way or not, as well as what they would tell the King about his threats. It didnt matter, if the King wanted to fight a war in the harsh, rocky mountains of Laesophere, the Twin Reaches, he would let them. It would be a draining fight for them, and even if they were able to break through the mountains, there was no way they would then be able to defeat his allies after.

Tyrus passed through the gate, and him and his party began the long journey upwards, until they were directly in the castle grounds. He sent out some of his servants and soldiers, to inform the castles residents that Lord Tyrus Willun had arrived. A small, old servant came out with one of his soldiers, and bowed deeply to him. "My Lord," he said, "It is a pleasure to have you in our hold. I know the Duke is exceptionally pleased at this opportunity to meet you."

"The Duke survived?" said Tyrus. He had been under the impression that the Duke lay dying.

"Yes, sir. He is up and about, but I myself worry that he may develop and infection in his wound. Only time will tell I guess."

"Yes," said Tyrus. "Only time will tell." He stared down at the man, bfore continuing. "Well then, take me to him. Kinsonton, come with me. Im sure the others will be able to take care of the horses." He climbed down off of his horse, and heard Kinsonton do the same, his plate metal armor clanking as he moved. The two men followed the old servant into the castle, as he led them to Duke Qaldor.

The Guard proceeds to rip off a section of the lords shirt and wrap it around his chest. He then motions to the master at arms. "You sir, hold down here on the wound to stop the blood from flowing. Later, as more and more guests pour into the valley and up to the gate, another lord arrives. He is immediately recognized, Saluted, and sent to the courtyard. The Duke, who looks surprisingly well for someone who had a short-sword jammed through his shoulder, meets lord Tyrus in the Courtyard and Shakes his Hand. "My Lord, I am Qaldor Dukalise. It is an honor to finally meet you, and an even bigger honor that you have graced my Fine Hall such as your Father did to mine." Being 6 inches taller then the older man, Qaldor had to look slightly down as he spoke to the man. "Please, let my servant Liandra show you where your quarters are." He brings the short red haired servant to his side and tells her where it should be. "Lord Tyrus' room should be on the 10th Floor overlooking Laesophere. His room is right next to Lord Millers. Also, after this check on the good lord in the Hospital and see his condition. Report back to me." He looks back at Tyrus. "Feel free to explore once you are finished getting settled in. Shattrath as a very large place with many interesting locations. The feast starts in 5 hours at sundown when the last of the guests should have arrived. Welcome to Shattrath my lord."

And with that he gave the lord a deep bow and headed back up to prepare for the Feast.

Mount Chalice
Fort Shattrath
Top of the Mountain
Sundown

Lord of Iglothra walks out holding Alorra's arm struggling to keep straight up. He walks with Alorra's help to the front of the crowd and he then turns around and speaks to the audience of men, women, children and soldiers.
I started my journey to Mount Chalice a strong and powerful man, and I arrive a wounded but strong man. I was ambushed by assassins while in the woods doing my privacy when 4 assassins arrive out of the bushes to attack me. I killed 2 of the three men and the last man I left incapacitated. Here is the man part of this responsibility! The Master of Arms walks by with two soldiers dragging the man in chains.
Mysterious Assassin: Your all putrid filth and your rebellion is too! King Elyas will soon kill all of you and then the fire will wrap its arms around Lavell.
The crowd boos at the man throwing rude slurs and comments at the man and he is paraded infront of the crowd to humiliate him.
Lord Miller: This is what they have to send at me to stop us! We are strong we are the rebellion we will unite Lavell under an honest and kind King who will bring us all together into prosperity! However, there was a women though and she may be amongst you right now. She shoved a shortword so far into my side I fell to the ground dazed and weak but, I stand now hear speaking to you to show that the rebellion is powerful and we will not stand down to the tyranneous king! The Young King Elyas the Kinslayer who slayed his family for the greed of power! We must stand together, we must fight! We must be strong! And we must defeat King Elyas the Kinslayer!! The crowd erupts into cheers and roars the mockery of King Elyas, Young King Elyas the Kinslayer! And I want to thank Duke Qaldor for inviting me to this feast and the rest of the rebellion cause. We stand togehter as brothers and sisters tonight my people and soon we will stand together brothers and sisters in arms against the tyranneous King Elyas the Kinslayer! The soldiers are spirited and talk amongst themselves and the soldiers are merry aswell as the townsfolk are cheerful and spirited from the speech. Lord Miller walks away from the front and the Grand Feast commences. He joins Lord Tyrus and Lord Ethor and Duke Qaldor in laughter and talk.

It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived. -General George S. Patton

Lord Astor Pelianos
Gates of Fort Shattrath

Astor and his entourage, after traveling up the mountains, finally made their way to the gates of Fort Shattrath. At this point, they had heard the news of the attempt on the Duke's life from passing travelers, and Astor began to grow nervous over what had transpired back in Riverhold in regards to his actions towards the envoy of the Crown. Would he be sage behind his stone walls, or would the Wild King, the Usurper, make a move to have him killed behind closed doors? This and many other thoughts transpired in the young lord's mind as he approached the gates, ending up behind his Lord and Master, Lord Tyrus Willun. Rather than try to push through to the front past the other parties that were making their way to the Fort, Astor opted to wait. He knew he would run into his liege lord later, and so decided not to make a fuss. He would be patient. Finally, after nearly an hour of waiting, Lord Astor and his party were at the front of the line. "I am Lord Astor Pelianos of Riverhold, I was invited to a feast by your liege, Duke Qaldor," Astor announced to the guard at the gate, showing him the invitation. The guard inspected the invitation and, satisfied that the document was genuine, allowed Lord Astor and his entourage inside the massive fort. At sunlight, he walked outside to the location of the feast in his finest robes, just in time to hear Lord Miller's speech. Ah, so this is the true meaning of this feast, Astor thought to himself. He quietly took a seat, nodding to his fellow vassal and host, the Duke in acknowledgement.

Kingshill

"Hail King Elyas, the First of His Name! Hail Baxelheric, the One True God!" cried the trumpeter page as Geoffrey entered the room. He was dressed in his grey robe, and his headdress - not wishing to call any unwanted attention to himself. Around his neck was a collar, very thin and not very flashy - but its most important feature was the flame symbol adorning it. This flame hoped would catch the King's eye, showing his commitment to the faith.

He walked up to the throne very slowly. He bowed and then summoned a page, who placed the various papers he had on a holding tray. He stood up and began to speak.

"Your grace, thank you for seeing me on such short notice. We have much to talk over."

"I am aware of our... uninvited guest. She is still unconscious and shall reside inside the Oubliette until the feast is over. Please do enjoy yourselves!" And with that the music starts playing and the servants start pouring from the cliffs placing platter after platter of food onto the table. Qaldor takes a seat between Lord Tyrus and Lord Miller.

"Gentlemen, tis an honor! I hope you may enjoy yourselves!"
