We may need to actually draft a constitution for Lavell if this becomes an actual thing

Nonetheless it will be interesting.

Will do!

I'd consider making a new thread for it as mentioned above, for convenience sake.
Formerly Khanastan; the Praetorian Empire is set in the same geographical region, only around 200 years earlier.

The Praetorian Empire is a PreT nation set in a world going through an age similar to the Victorian Era - a world of Great Powers, Imperialism, Political Revolution and Technological Advancement where the capitalist machine is beginning to stir into action and when nations were at their largest and grandest. If anyone wants to roleplay a time in that era, feel free to TG me.

To beg the question, what would Clara be in terms of rank? Her family has an estate that's been passed down for generations, but I'm unsure what that would place them as. Plus, would she have a title that was constructed for her after her sister's marriage?

If she holds no actually land, I would say that she was just a lady. In terms of political power she would have very little actual clout, until she got her claws into a man she could manipulate.

You're right, technically. You watch Game of Thrones or read any of the Song of Ice and Fire novels? Its the same concept. You have your Lord Paramounts who rule a vast territory (but are only called Lords), then you have Lords beneath them who rule a county level holding.

Actually did we not discuss via TG that Frederick revoked your lands from you? And because of that your going to do something in the plot to get me to release to you?

We did, yes. But I was curious as to what title was held before they were revoked, just out of curiosity's sake. They weren't lord paramounts or anything like that, but I imagine they must've held some power if Elyas married Clara's sister (unless he did it purely out of love which is equally believable, but the previous king mau have had some say in the affair as well.

I'm going into work here soon and right after I'm going to my own little lakeside feast. I'll check in on my phone if there's signal and things die down, but keep going without me.
Sveter, she'll keep close to you and talk with you about any upcoming plans/changes to them should they arise
Qaldor, she would most certainly have a dance with such a dashing duke ;)
Astor, she would also dance with you out of courtesy and attempt to know you and your sister (if she snuck along)
Miller, if he happens to be there, would be someone she would try to stay clear of but eventually approach out of politeness sake

Tiana will most likely be in the background watching from afar and listening to gossip, but not participating herself
Serena would be more active and dance and sing whilst getting to know everyone in the center of the festivities
Devlan would probably start a fistfight with someone if they crossed him (unless Sveter intervened, which he will back down on his orders)

I apologize in advance, it's been an unexpectedly good weekend; people have been inviting me left and right to things. I actually got a fortune cookie on Thursday saying that I would be attending so many get togethers and BAM, I get a text asking what I'm doing that night.

Hmm, okay okay. So, you'd rather let a man loyal to our cause be mad at you then a man who is already loyal to the current king be happy with you. That means now you are losing yet another man to our cause.

I just backed up Lord Astor but, in a calm serene way not as to offend anyone but to get everyone to continue with the festivities and try to tell Qaldor that hey, this guy can help us in this war calm down.
