"Crap!" He exclaims, lowering the shotgun. "That's it! We need everyone right here right now!" He turns to go but stops momentarily to look at Henry. "Don't let that thing in and stay away from windows. I'm getting whoever is upstairs." His stomps are heard on the steps and floor as he goes banging on the doors. "Anyone here? That thing just got Mark. We're huddling up downstairs to make a game plan. We need everyone we can get."

"No...is he?" Victoria couldn't bring herself to say dead. She just covered her mouth with her hands and followed the man with the shotgun. She didn't know which one was even Mark, but the thought of someone being murdered made her cry nonetheless. She stopped at the bottom of the stairs and clutched the edge of the wall, her legs shaking. She peeked around the corner but only looked down at the floor; Victoria didn't want to see any bodies. Blood made her sick. She called out to the strangers in the room. "Is it safe?!"

"Well enlighten me on how the hell we do that?" Henry said with a voice a doubt while still tucked behind the couch.

As much as she would rather not enter the room, Victoria felt there was safety in numbers and so she quickly slipped behind the couch and sat down next to the guy with the crossbow, careful not to move her eyes from the floor lest she see the horrible sight by the window. She remembered the beast didn't like light. "Can't we wait till dawn, then just leave?"

"We still have to try," Victoria almost begged, still shaking behind the couch. "I don't wanna die." She didn't know how to fight and was a shrimp compared it, but she couldn't bare the thought of being ripped apart by that thing. Any chance of hope was still a chance, no matter how small.

The old man solemnly shook his head,"This is Alaska. This time of year it stays dark all winter.Besides, the Tartok fears light. Not The Cannibal, the only way to destroy the Tartok itself is to destroy the Cannibal then expose it to light, something rather hard to do with the power out."

Charlie moved both of them into the closet and closed the door. "Don't make a sound, use your hand to muffle your breath, but we need to stay quiet." He said, as the two of them huddled for life in the closet. By doing this he hoped that no one would find them, but on the other hand, he didn't want to stay here. From what he heard, his friend Mark, had been murdered, the mountain man was bleeding profusely and there was some demon stalking the occupants of the cabin. "How do we get out of this alive?" He wondered, doing his best to keep calm for Kat's sake.

He turned and started to head upstairs to gather up some more weapons, he stopped as he was halfway up the stairs.
"By the way, my names Boris Pennington."
He then continued on up the stairs and disappeared from site.

"What are your guy's names?," Tory inquired, tears rolling down her cheeks. "I don't wanna die surrounded by strangers." She didn't have a gun; she didn't think there was enough to go around. She crawled out to her suitcase on the floor, fished it in for a pocket bible, and returned to hiding behind the couch. She clutched the book close to her bosom. It was the closest thing she had to protection. She stared up at the mountain man, her blue eyes open wide. "What do you want me to do?"

After he left, Jimmy pointed out "He does realize shooting him in the arm or leg could kill him, right? If we blow one of those off, he'll almost certain bleed out. I think we need a better plan."
