The issue I have with the Austrian proposal regarding Rumelia is that the only land I would actually want to take are part of their Empire.

1. I can't imagine Ragusa would be capable of digesting a sudden large amount of territorial gains.
2. They when not back the Empire? We're more then happy to allow your autonomy, free trading rights within the Empire: the source of most of the stuff you either refine or trade out directly... all kinds of fancy stuff. And I'm sure the Dalmatian coast you'd win from Austria would be far easier to govern. I mean, around a 1/3 or so of the population at this point speaks Italian with far more easily-defensible and navigable harbors, and and you must already have alot of Croat-speaking administrators with a greater understanding of regional customs.

Persia seems a bit out of things. Hmmm... so long as the Great Game doesn't undermine us any further I'm OK with that. Though I do have my eye on Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, never mind parts of India adjacent to Baluchistan.

Invading Afghanistan is... probably not a good idea. They generally react poorly to occupation forces.

Though, with the Great Game being a UK vs. Russia affair, you could very easily align yourself with Great Britain as a junior partner is the "Keep the Bear away from the Jewel of the Empire" campaign. I'm sure they'd sanction your moves into Central Asia, though not the Indian sub-continent. And since they're the ones training your army (According to your app), you'll probably want to keep them on your good side.

If you have any desire to convert some of your merchantmen to Warships or fortify your cities for this endeavor, His Sacred and Imperial Majesty would be more then willing to provide you with the prerequisite cannons. We might not be close to British industrial potential, but if there is one thing the Ottoman craftsmanship is second to none in, its the quality and quantity of our big guns.
