Information Spread
The year is 2650, nuclear war has ruined most of Earth. Five countries still remain China, Russia, the United Allied Federation (including what is now the United Kindom, India, Australia, Brazil, and the United States), France, and Germany. These countries are very technologically advanced possessing the technology to avoid most harms of the nuclear war. The one thing they couldn't stop was the wiping out of some of their major trading partners. However, technology to clean up nuclear radiation has been invented. The catch is the blueprints and all existing versions are spread out on the seven colonies in our and 2 other solar systems. The countries need to unite and get the blueprints from their colonies before they collapse. It is your job to orchestrate this mission with the help of your partners in the other colonies and on Earth.
Technology
The technology of the day allows for travel over a distance of 1 lightyear in 9 months, and communication over the same distance in five seconds.
Colonies
Mars
The colony on Mars has a direct communication link with Earth and with the colony on Venus. The colony on Mars is predominately underground. The colony is around 64 acres and holds 200 people. It has the blueprints for a device to clean up nuclear radiation out of ground water developed by the UAF. The colony is controlled by the UAF, France, and Germany. This colony also holds a small factory capable of manufacturing all of the devices.
Venus
The colony on Venus has a direct communication link with Earth and with the colony on Mars. The colony on Venus is made up of a series of airballons covering about 16 acres and holding 250 people. It has the blueprints for a device to clean up nuclear radiation out of the air and a working example of this device, both of which were developed by Russia. This colony is controlled by Russia and China.
Alpha Centauri
Alpha Centauri is 2 lightyears away from Earth and 1 lightyear away from Beta Centauri.
Alpha Centauri Prime
The Alpha Centauri Prime colony is on the outermost planet of the Alpha Centauri system. The colony is a Mars-esc colony holding 25 people in 1/2 acre. It lacks any blueprints, but it has a communication link with Earth, Beta Centauri Prime, Alpha Centauri Major, and Alpha Centauri Minor. It is controlled by the UAF and Russia.
Alpha Centauri Major
The Alpha Centauri Major colony is on the second most inner planet of the Alpha Centauri system. The colony is a Venus-esc colony holding 50 people in 1 acre. It possesses the blueprints to a device that cleans topsoil from the effects of nuclear radiation. It has a communications link with Alpha Centauri Prime and Alpha Centauri Minor. This colony is controlled by the UAF and China
Alpha Centauri Minor
The Alpha Centauri Minor colony is on the third most inner planet of the Alpha Centauri system. The colony is identical to the Alpha Centuari Prime colony except, it is much larger and possesses a moon that is very Earth like and could be used for testing. This colony spreads over 256 acres and holds 750 people. This colony is controlled by Russia, France, and Germany.
Beta Centauri
Beta Centauri is 2.5 lightyears away from Earth and 1 lightyear away from Alpha Centauri.
Beta Centauri Prime
The Beta Centauri Prime colony is on the most inner planet of the Alpha Centauri system. The colony holds no blueprints, but is an important communications link between Vesuvius and Earth. It is controlled by the UAF and takes up 1 acre, holding fifty individuals.
Vesuvius
Vesuvius is a planet the same size as Earth. Humans have spread to all of the landmasses, with an estimated population now at 7 billion. This planet has sections controlled by all of the remaining powers. It lacks any blueprints, but has massive factories.
