Also, I'm surprised that Sinead hasn't been able to provoke Nightshade by licking him. Or sitting on his shoulders.

Nightshade is surprisingly patient with these sorts of antics. It's interrupting him while he's giving a speech, or washing his dark clothes with the whites that will probably set him off.
