Formation of the Baltic
Today the Republic Latvia and the Republic of Lithuania signed the dotted line at the week long 2016 Riga Conference. This is a ground breaking new deal for both parties evolved aswell as a huge step for the future of the Baltic. Both states will emidiatly begain to cooperate to crate the 1st Baltic Union parlament. The Union has openly admitted to using the same system that the United States of America has installed currently. The Baltic Union will split up into two states, exactly as they are now. Both states will be ran on the same level as states in the United States with a strong federal government looking over them. A representative democracy will also be installed with the same principles. The title of "Governor" will be given to the head of each state. Elections will take place from October 4th to December 4th 2016 and all citizens of the new Baltic Union are heavily encouraged to vote for the new President of the B.U.
In related news Estonia has also agreed it would be best to join the new union, however wishes to set back the time of their integration to one year from now on April 30th 2017.
The Department of Economics has issued the new budget for the Baltic Union 2016-2017.
The Department of Defense has be given a massive budget this year of 18.2 billion as an attempt to expand the defensive as well as the projection power of the Baltic Union. This amount of spending brings us just over Canada at 14 billion and under Israel at 18.5 billion.
