I'm going to propel us all back onto shore, a change of environment, more mobility than being stuck on a ship.

Stand by.

It's mostly sandbox stuff. Develop your characters, know each other better, get some action in. Use this time to create a core and some chemistry in whoever you wanna be partnered with, I'll be working on an adventure or two.

It was at that moment, when a huge wave struck the Olivia. Sailors were washed off the mainmast, as a streak of lightning struck the crow's nest, sending a stream of unnatural energy down the structure, splitting the entire mast into two. By what little mercy the gods have, the mast did not fall towards the cabins, but rather towards the sides of the ship. Cries of despair came all around, as everyone could see that the ship was surely doomed.

A hollow roar echoed in the distance, but a second similar one followed seconds later, much closer to the Olivia. If one should peer over the rails of the ship, a huge dark mass could be seen, jagged spikes protruding from it's being. An amphibian head seemed to be coming out of the main bulk, but everyone's questions were answered by the next flash of lightning. A giant- no.

A Dragon Turtle.

Another roar, as the creature eyed the ship from it's position. Some could say that a figure was standing atop the ship. Indeed, Aster's vision could make out the vague figure of a humanoid holding a staff on one hand, a trident on the other. But before the information could be fully realised, a cone of pure force, came from the direction of the turtle, before the sound of thunder rolled across the Olivia, splitting the ship into half.

The party held on for dear life, as the ship broke right before the Cabin. Should Haruna not have ordered most of the people into cover, more would join the sailors now drowning in the sea. There was a brief silence, not more than ten seconds, when the half of the ship began to tilt over into the sea, but instead, another blast of force struck the hull, sending all it's occupants flailing into the maelstrom...

How long has it passed? A day? Two?

You wake up to find yourself lying on rough sand, the material covering most of your body. Wherever you are, it looks unfamiliar, it looks hostile. You may or may not be on Arcia or Valeft. You might even be on a new land altogether. However, you realise that you are not wounded. Battered and bruised, maybe, but no cuts, no loss of blood, no major concussions. Everything remained clear, as your last memory was of your form hitting the water before blacking out.

I'll be advancing the plot in 48 hours, gives people time to come on and post, do some exchanges. If you guys wanna try your hand in exploring the world and such, feel free to TG me stuff.

Since this is an 'unknown place', some abilities might not work, or fail to work in special circumstances. Likewise, some characters might be able to get some abilities, but nothing radical. The original character blueprint remains, and any changes would be minor (Or Major, depending on your character). However, everything happens for a reason and is versatile, not just for simple plot-pushing or whatnot.

Edit - Should have expanded on the Surroundings.

There are trees near the beach, basically a small forest with little canopy. Those who are familiar with surviving in the wild can identify plenty of edible plants and fruits.

Everyone was washed up not too far from each other. The 'party' will be 'confirmed' within two days.
