Also attempting to ban illegal immigration? There is a reason it is called illegal immigration...

Some radical thinking, right there.

Go look at your family tree. Go back a couple hundred years (or maybe a couple thousand years) and you will eventually find that you have ancestors from somewhere outside the US (Maybe Europe, maybe Asia, who knows). Even the American Indians came to this country from somewhere- they immigrated to the Americas when they crossed the Bering Land Bridge during the Ice Age.

Nope, sorry, you see, I was created by Native American witch doctors out of clay and sticks, and so I've always been in the United States.

(In case you could not tell, since you couldn't when you read my other post, I'm being sarcastic. No shit we all come from somewhere, duh.)

I don't understand why the Democrats want to effectively eliminate legal immigration and encourage illegal immigration.
I just don't get it.
Could a Democrat or Devil's Advocate please explain to me why this makes sense to people?!

Most Democrats do not take such a extreme position. But, the concept of allowing illegal immigrants in is the same logic powering refugee resettlement programs. It is mostly a humanitarian thing.

Right now the key contest of the debate appears like it is a back-and-forth slugfest between Senator Nudeau and Senator Goran. Probably too early to call a winner. I'd say Finelli has done well, but I think Ms. Wells is just about done for. Her campaign has had a lot of setbacks (No offense to Ms. Wells, of course)

Senator Goran and I have very similar campaign stances, and it is kind of the only thing that can trip my campaign. In Fact, me and Senator Goran have agreed on both debate topics so far, it appears. We will both be fighting for the same supporters.

If Senator Goran withdraws somehow, Senator Goran has a good chance to be my running mate. I imagine the same will be true for me if I drop out and Senator Goran remains standing.

The main difference so far seems to be that Nudeau is a bit more aggressive in his language.

(I have nothing really important to say, just wanted to be 1000th post :p )
