Here it is. I more or less went off of where real-life Republican presidential candidates were placed.

Well, either the test is slanted (which it is, but I don't know how much of an effect that had), or you were way off on Cross.

It feels like there are three people sorta competing to be the Bernie Sanders of the race.

Do you wanna get on stage first?

I guess you could call the test slanted; it sorta runs on a European pre-1980s concept of left and right. It tends to make right-wingers look more moderate than the candidates they support.

There are a total of 5 democratic candidates - three are gonna be actively participating today so the advantage will be real.

I did, it's nice to see some polite politicians in US Politics for once. I tried to actually be Bernie Sanders by placing my home state in a rural, largely Republican State.

Yes, indeed, I hope that after tonight Senator Nudeau gets shook to the top of the polls. We just have to hope that I say the right thing.

Character Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: Collatis
Character Name: Jacob Sobel
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 44
Character Role: Senator
Appearance:
Character State of Origin: Connecticut
Character Affiliation (Democrat, Republican or Non-Aligned): Democrat
Main Strengths: Intelligent, excellent orator, willing to reach across the aisle, witty
Main Weaknesses: Overly idealistic, sarcastic, slightly out of the political mainstream, young, somewhat inexperienced
Short Bio: Born in Brooklyn, New York in the early 1970s to middle-class Jewish-American parents, Sobel was politically active from a young age. His father was a moderately successful lawyer and his mother was a teacher. Sobel did well in school and went on to get a scholarship to Yale University. It was there that he met his future wife, Emilia Ferraro. After earning his masters in political science from Yale, he moved to Hartford and worked to become a major player in the Connecticut Democratic Party. When the long-time Democratic incumbent for the first district announced his intention to retire, Sobel was one of the first to throw his hat in the ring to replace him. Sobel won support from the first district's Jewish-American community and from both establishment and progressive politicians. It was this that led him to an easy primary win over scattered opposition, and to an even easier win in the general election over his Republican opponent. During his time in the House, Sobel gained a reputation as a progressive, but pragmatic, Democrat. When the controversial incumbent Independent Senator announced his retirement in 2012, Sobel entered the race for the Democratic nomination. He received near universal support from progressives, but the establishment was split evenly between his more moderate opponent and him. In the end, Sobel got the nomination with a small margin of victory and went on to a landslide victory in the general election, garnering over 60% of the vote. As a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Sobel has a strong liberal record on most issues, although he is known to be more moderate on foreign policy. Sobel is pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro-campaign finance reform, pro-universal healthcare, and pro-criminal justice reform.
Other Info: Jacob Sobel is married to Emilia Sobel. They currently have two children and reside in West Hartford, Connecticut.

Character Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: Corvus Metallum

Character Name: Tomás Garcia

Character Gender: Male

Character Age: 51

Character Role: House of Representatives, Ranking Member of the House Education and Workforce Committee
Appearance: Boop

Character State of Origin: Texas

Character Affiliation: Democrat (Progressive Caucus)

Main Strengths: As a former high school teacher, principal, and later superintendent, Mr. Garcia knows the ins and outs of how a school district runs, and how greatly politics can effect the quality of education for students. He is extremely dedicated to getting national reform bills written and passed, and will butt heads if needed to get them through. Although he is extremely principled on his core issue of education, he is able to compromise on an issue as long as it (overall) goes in a direction he can agree with. His speaking skills are debatable; generally he is well spoken and wise with his word choice, but he has a tendency to on about a subject more than is needed.

Main Weaknesses: Mr. Garcia is not as informed as he would like to be on a number of other subjects. During his studies for his master's degree, his major was education, with a focus on language. Although he reads up on many different subjects, he is quite unknowledgeable on subjects like healthcare law or infrastructure, thus making him prone to gaffes or having to rely on his peers for information during House debates on these and other topics.

Short Bio: Born in Corpus Christi in 1959, Tomás Garcia was born to a pair of immigrants from Mexico. He grew up speaking Spanish the majority of the time at home and with friends, and struggled with English until about the fourth grade, where he sought tutoring on his own accord. By the time he graduated high school, he was proficient enough in both languages that his early struggles were never evident. Although he wasn't a great student, he managed to work his way through his initial bachelors degree from Texas State University with a major in education. During this time, he held many odd jobs trying to finance his education: part time radio host, car salesman, and fry cook were all on the list. He graduated with a respectable GPA and managed to land a job as a teacher in an El Paso high school. As he taught, he also continued his studies in pursuit of a masters' degree. By the time he attained his masters', he had proven himself to be quite capable at his job--he moved from being a teacher to vice principal, and then principal of the school by 2001; in 2007, he became the superintendent of the school district. Throughout his career, he was always politically active when he was able: he participated in both Al Gore's and John Kerry's bids for the presidency, and also regularly held debates in class while he was a teacher. In 2012, he decided to put his drive for change to good use and ran for the US House, and won Texas District 16 by a narrow margin, and has won the district since then with a slightly widening gap each election he is up for.

Other Info: Although he was not in any elected position at the time, he was opposed to both the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Being what he calls a "half-hearted" Catholic, his positions on abortion and gay marriage are less than favorable for their respective supporters; but they do not extend beyond the personal realm and he does not let them cross over into his legislative decisions regarding those issues. He is also an avid supporter of the First Amendment, often warning of mixing religious sentiment with legislation is a bad idea, and has sponsored many bills to make the government more transparent.

'Ello?
