Hey Beiarusia, Patrick isn't sleeping just sitting at the pew waiting to see if Hawkins or someone else comes back...not sleeping, but not really doing anything though

EDIT: What I was going for is he is just waking up from a short nap after one of the girls came to report to Hawkins about the gunshot.
