I'd look into that. I always wanted to do OUTBREAK again, but with the higher quality posts that I do now.

Mainly just doing something like Fear the Walking Dead, where it would show how the Outbreak started. I dunno. I almost consider OUTBREAK and NML to be part of the Zone Universe, to an extent. Particularly with Jen being in the story, even though I was actually going to have it be an alternate reality version of Sarah at first.

If you need a Co-Op for that, you know who to call.

Tbh I thought Fear the Walking Dead was kinda shit, and it's characters underdeveloped and had less mental capabilities than a human vegetable.

If I can say, "They could all die horrible deaths and I wouldn't give a flying shit.", then I can't be interested in the show. I don't know what the producers were thinking, but it's nowhere near the masterpiece that is the original Walking Dead.

I'm not a huge fan of the original show, honestly. It's not bad, but the first couple seasons were pretty damned good. The new ones are alright, but the whole Neegan thing was really trumped up for what was basically a ratings ploy.

On top of that, the main cast ranges from interesting to annoying as shit with very little inbetween. Carol's still one of the best characters on the show, but the writers seem hellbent on getting rid of her.

What I'm saying is that I'm working on a story independently right now. It's totally on paper, and probably will be for a while. However, my summer is going to be very open, so I might actually go along with starting up an RP for it as well.

Ah, I gotcha. I just recall you bounced an idea for an OUTBREAK spinoff RP at one point, so I assumed that was related. That whole ISS thing, if I remember correctly.

I think there actually was an OUTBREAK book in the works at one point too, but I never got involved with it.

Correct on all accounts. The ISS OP is almost done, but I don't have high hopes for it.

OUTBREAK prevented me from quitting NS that summer. It restored my faith in RP's after a particularly bad series of them in my region.

I admit to going back to that RP and reading over the IC and enjoying the fact that all of our posts got lengthier and more detailed as we went on.

Same. OUTBREAK came at just the right time to restore my love of writing, and it taught me to RP by forcing me to run before I could walk.

Hehe, posting from a 3G flip phone was like pulling teeth, though.

I'm a huge gun nut and avid military historian. When I saw that happen, it reminded me of in Pearl Harbor when the one sailor looks to his friend as the battleship starts capsizing and says "I can't swim!" like mother fucker, that shit irks me to no end. You are a sailor. You were trained to swim. Just as a soldier is trained to not run into a spinning tail rotor of a Blackhawk, because you can CLEARLY hear the sound of the rotors spinning!

On another note, not sure if you guys want a post from me in Glendale or not yet fuck it, I'll do it anyway.

It got me back into RPing, I'll say that much. International Incidents was...unpleasant. I actually only came back to NS because I was bored, and ended up on P2TM, which I had gone on record previously as being "lame".

Now I can't stop and it's gotten me to start writing again. So, that's good.

Said it once and I'll say it again. Bei saved me from quitting on NS.

Even now as my region descends into an OOC flame war over an invasion I was trying to carry out; my solace lies in the P2TM's. I'll be behind any attempts to start up another OUTBREAK....maybe one that focuses on the chaos following the fall of the Remanent and the men and women who began to rise from it's literal ashes.
