This looks really interesting and STALKER is one of my favorite games out there so I would love to join. But before I start working on my app for y'all to look at, I was wandering if there is anything I should know beforehand that may not be listed on the OP? Perhaps something important that happened in the IC at this point?

Yeah, in Moapa there is a boss battle, essentially.
In Glendale someone else just showed up and the rest are being hunted by government agents.
In Overton everyone is setting up camp, and a Deramen's character, Giuseppe, is possessed by an entity we lovingly refer to as 'Piss Zalgo'

Personality: Friendly, compassionate, and optimistic are how most would describe him after meeting him. Insecure, easily manipulated, and desperate for companionship and praise are what the few people who knew him well would describe him as.
Biography: Patrick was the second child of four in his family to be born. He was born on a US Navy base in Japan, but quickly moved all over the US as his parents were stationed in various military bases throughout the US. Patrick grew up playing the role of support to his siblings, he was never as physically skilled as his older sister or as smart as his younger siblings, so he did his best in helping them succeed in their talents. This behavior reflected in school as well, he was on friendly terms with just about everyone at his school and they all knew him as someone to count on for assistance. But Patrick never went home with any friends, never texted or called anybody he knew, and by time he graduated high school he realized he had never had a friend or girlfriend, just countless acquaintances. Even in his own family he felt like an outsider, his parents focusing their attention on his much more talented siblings.

Patrick went off to college with the goal of fixing this issue of a lack of social experience and friends, but quickly found he was inexperienced. All he knew how to do was wear a smile and say "yes" to whatever request was made of him. He began to fall into a dark place within himself as he realized he was merely existing. And when he found out his parents were falling into a difficult financial situation, Patrick left college and his home. He hoped his leaving would make it easier for his parents to pay for his sibling's college expenses.

He had heard rumors that you could make some fast money in The Zone if you could find a way, so he told himself he was going to go and pay off college for his siblings with what he could find. But in truth Patrick never expected to make it to the border, fully expecting to be shot down by the guards before he made it. But by some miracle or curse Patrick now finds himself in the alien world of The Zone. Not expecting to get as far as he has, Patrick finds himself without a plan besides surviving and perhaps trying to find himself in this world.
