Pretty good movie. A bit pretentious, but you if you're watching Kubrick, it's kind of expected.

Kinda prefer the book, personally.

Pretty good movie. A bit pretentious, but you if you're watching Kubrick, it's kind of expected.

Understandable. I only really dislike it because there's this whole consensus on how "deep" the movie is, when it's really just ambiguous AF.

Not like it's a bad movie. Far from it. It's just a solid mystery-horror movie.

Jack Nicholson is hammy as all get out, though, and that kid makes me want to ram a screwdriver in my ear.
